Nope, DP/Pain.
I know heat exhaustion from therm is perma -recovery. Looking at his powers and his build all he had that could -recovery was electric shackles.

When I read the thread title I thought someone was complaining about the dagger against /regen scrapper in pvp
Its very useful there too and often gets whined at when I use itIts a great power across the board as a debuff. I use it all the time.

Basically my build is below but after pvping with it for a while it seems to be a few problems, mainly endurence.
Any -recovery power pretty much kills off any chance I have of winning and claws seems to be eating away at endurence, whilst its the cheapest set endurence wise the fast animations mean your hitting twice at least in the time it takes everyone else to animate one power and taking loads of endurence in the process.
The idea of the animation time was the original reason I chose claws but the endurence is pretty much killing it.
The problem is I dont really want to sacrifice any of the damage or hp boosts in my build in the process of trying to sort it since there kinda helpful with fires weaker resists.
I know theres no web grenade, but I have that covered with the temp power which I always have

Hey guys,
Was just fighting vs a corruptor with electric shackles epic power in arena, I had my stats window open as normal and instead of the 8 secs -recovery it seemed to be on permanent. The guy said he slotted nothing more than regular IOs in it for end reduction yet my recovery was always in the red.
This a known bug or just some random thing?

Flamethrower wouldnt be a bad power if it didnt take so much endurence and take so long to animate.
Thats ARs single biggest issue, animation time.

I really couldnt see them going to extreme of making two sets of powers for AR, its gonna take too much work and they could just as easily add a new powerset rather than rework something thats already in game in this way.
All it really needs is a few powers changing a bit, not much to ask and fairly simple to do.

As before Im guessing you didnt even bother to read the post before commenting. So again il say theres nothing wrong with the AoE side of AR besides animation time, its the single target side plus ignite being pointlessly complicated to use. The animation times often leave your being hit whilst still animating, and flamethrower is a stupidly high endurence cost for the damage it does and time it takes to animate.
One point I would like to raise though, if theres nothing wrong with AR then how come fire can deal more single target AND Area damage than AR could ever hope to achieve in half the time to animate?
Theres a reason you have so much negative rep, go find a new hobby instead of pointlessly trolling.

Well they started using request to give orders to start with, which wasnt a good idea really seen as most people dont use it lol.
I was relaying messages on broadcast but due to lag by time I got the message across half the people using request had already jumped in bowl and got themselves killed. It was going fine at start up until the guy leading it shouted to jump into bowl when people were still halfway through a mob, after that it all went downhill really.
Half moved to centre of bowl, got stunned and died, then other half followed and same happened. Of course then not everyone bothered to come back again.

Just checking there wasnt a daily thing since on EU there was one every friday for instance on Union (least i think it was friday..) added those channels anyway so will keep an eye out.

For what reason?
I was thinking if the stealth lasted long enough it might be like a more effective cage type thing, you cant hit them but they cant hit you either without PBAoE or targeted AoEs.

In relation to the sleep purple set with chance for placate, is this worth slotting on anything other than a stalker?
Does it still hit a critical with placate or is it basically just a grant stealth power?
I was thinking of using it on my brute for pvp but I wanted to know if it was a waste or not.

More to the point though, it seems somewhere along the line the files have been mixed up. I dont know much about the mac version but the only two suggestions I can make as to what I would do would be delete the pigg files and start again with installation, or try test server to see if it works fine there.

If your test server worked, that would point to an issue with your files you downloaded, so it would mean reinstalling the files again to get it to work.
Other than game files the only logical thing to blame would be 3d card drivers.
After reading your post though you say you want this bug fixed but you seem to be willing to do very little about it. No screenshots and not willing to try things mentioned, how can people help if your not willing to help yourself?

See I know 1 patch would never slow someone alone, but the two powers in question are glue patch and oil slick both slotted for slows. Combined with Power boost from Ghost widows Patron, it would be even higher than -360%.
After messing with this I found out I was looking in the wrong area, I was trying to look for a global number for +speed and thats not how it works.
Standard Super Speed unslotted is +350% speed, whilst sprint is +50% and swift is 35% so basically unslotted I would still have to hit generally over 435% to have any effect vs someone unslotted.
Slotted with IOs is 71% swift 64% sprint (single run IO slotted) and 591% with BotZ set in SS. Meaning to have any effect vs an average PvPer at 50, I would need to stack 726% -speed to start slowing past regular run speed...
Thats kind of insane, but its still possible, just not with the original idea I had. Seems like its a troller or possibly dominator only thing.

Well I ended up going with 2 end reductions and 2 recharge IOs, which leaves me set up pretty nicely when i need to heal, since I use this, then I use aid self so I dont get interupted then stick dominate on top of that and continue to attack.
Way I see it is as an autohit sleep power, not a hold. It also works wonders vs defence based charecters, hit TK then hit dominate over top and there dead meat
It is definately useful, I wouldnt say its overpowered, but I would say it makes up for not having a pet when its combined with the fear power later in the set too... Fear is vastly under rated particularly in this new system.
