Seems like an easy enough character concept to pull off.

Oh noes! Reynolds will ruin the franchise!!

Summoning Spec Ops for the first time after CoV came out and scaring the bejeezus outta the team. "AMBUSH!"
Also, the super giant hawk when attacking a massive villain, like the giant shivan in the tutorial, is just awesome. Freaking Gandalf.
Just picked up Tame beasts, and am fairly impressed with all the self-buffing going on. -
I miss the days when those portals were worth ridiculous amounts of XP.

Don't tell me there was some after credits stuff...
Anyway, saw it. Liked it. -
Bring on the mathematical 'skill testing' questions!
Seriously Canada, would it really be so bad if people could just give stuff away without first making us answer 4 x (6-3) - 2?
But yes, this is a country-by-country thing which is why these types of contests are usually confined to North America, excluding Quebec (HA!), since the contest lawyers know the applicable laws. -

Only just now, while watching the movie, realized that Michael Fassbender was in 300 (Stelios). Not entirely surprising since it came out a few years before he made the big times.
Persian: A thousand nations of the Persian empire descend upon you. Our arrows will blot out the sun!
Stelios: Then we will fight in the shade -
Quote:Of course the solution to the problem caused by being a badass assassin who kills everyone he meets, is to be badass assassin who kills everyone he meets, and then proceed to kill everyone he meets. Also Taken.
I like how its basically showing that Liam Neeson's brought the entire plot of the sequel on himself directly by being a badass assassin who kills everyone he meets.
The consequences for murdering large numbers of mooks does not play enough of a role in these movies I think.
Also, make awesome speeches. -
Quote:Diversity is pretty much going to kill off a few of mine in this case. While I'm attached to my blasters, my AR/Dev has one of my favourite backgrounds and I really enjoy playing him. I'll be keeping a Beam/Trap corr for a RPVG, so that pretty much bones my Beam/Dev. Likewise, I'm thinking my 2 DP blasters and DP corr are going to bite it.So... Yeah, I'd just have to think about who I log in currently and if I have a lot more fun in mind for them in the future. I play 50s very regularly, so that's not an issue.
The other important aspect, I imagine, would be to make sure I have a roster of diverse characters, both in game-mechanics and in personalities.
On the cheating side, I'll probably +1 my static team tanker, since I don't play 50's and we'll probably just start a new team after 50 anyway.
And on the plus side, it'll be a good day for names when I get around to all this. -
Well, I only have 6 50's, and they've all been shipped off to dusty corners on unplayed servers never to be played again, so they're out. Just the prospect of stripping 15 characters is daunting. I'm sure I'll come up with some method. Level will be a factor for my 3 40+ characters. After that I'm probably going by name and/or powersets so I don't end up with a bunch of similar characters.

Indeed.
I like that it ties directly in with the events of the first film. I like that it brings back the principle actors. I like that Liam Neeson must once again kill more dudes.
I'm not thrilled with the title. Taken? Awesome. Taken 2? Kinda lame, but I guess it's simply a case of the first movie having a name that just doesn't work with a number attached, IMO. -
If you were cutting your list of characters down to just 12 (the first screen), how would you pick them? Best names? Highest levels? Most stuff? Emotional attachment? Something else?
Essentially, what would you value most in your own characters? -

Quote:"If anyone if familiar with Dredd, over the years there are many times when he removes his helmet but you never fully see his face. This was a construct by the creators because he represents a faceless system of justice and law."Just keep the helmet on! If his helmet is removed, keep his face concealed like they do in the comic.
I say this hypothetically. If I went to a movie called Judge Dredd and the lead actor at one point took of his helmet so we could see his full face I would just puke in my popcorn because that's not Dredd. He is mysterious and enigmatic. We're doing it right, it's gonna be harder, grittier and above all faithful to the comic. It's gonna kick ***." - Karl Urban -
His throat is sore from breathing in the smoke from all the BAYSPLOSIONS!
