I teamed with a sonic today. I was on my FF/sonic defender (leader of the group), the combined power of FF and Sonic gave the entire team uncountable power. My ff blocked the incoming attacks, but when they got hit they didnt get very hard due to sonic. I have not been able to get a sonic up very high tho. I have tried but resistance buffs arent my favorite to give out. that is why i love my force fielder so much. I just love to color my bubbles :P

I would probably gues that electric field will be in the mix as well (like stated in an above post). This would not be exactly what i would like (i have an E^3 and never took it).
I really think that electric control will be a visually fun set, and i know i will play it. Will i love it? well probably no but that hasnt stopped me before!
I saw someone mention water based control and time control. I can see water based control being available, but of course alot of work will need to be done for water effects. I cant see much for time control other than -speed. I dont think that would be very fun at all. But that is an ignorant standpoint on it. -
Quote:Same, i expect ill need to send a petition. But hopefully all will be well!Tomorrow is the moment of truth, then. I'm praying like hell for this, as I'm selfish and want in on Going Rogue beta. However, although I think I was active the whole time, I'm paranoid that it lapsed for a couple of minutes or something between my previous paid time ending and my automatic paytment for the next group of time.
Ah well, tomorrow I'll find out. :x -
i really love my FF defender. but that is why i was looking forward to i16 i wanted colored bubbles! it is relaxed for me, but im not usually a defender type person haha

Zombies are rather weak on the resist category. I dont know the specifics but in my personal experience (many many many zombie chars) they dont have very good res. On the self heal, i wouldnt rely on that too much. They heal at stupid times imo. it seems like they use it more as an attack (duh it is an attack
)
Zombies are my favorite MM type just because i like the mystical feel of them. (yes i know they are grotesque beings). I just want to let you know that since you love debuffing so much you could try out TA, i dont recommend it (i have one at 50, but i think it is an abomination) the debuffage is great but the mayhem when fighting at high levels is a little too much and the amount of resummoning is extremely awful. I have noticed that storm is nice (although the kb isnt with the melee attacks), and of course dark is a good choice for debuffage. I havent really done anything with /poison because i just do not like the set as a whole. It may have something to do with the ST nature of the set.

Quote:I honestly do remember you posting about itIt's funny, I brought up this idea as a different option for travel in a Suggestions and Ideas thread about 3 or 4 months ago. My idea was to have a travel power that had run speed faster than sprint, but slower than super speed and also had more jump boost than combat jumping but less than super jump....all in one power with new run/jump animations for the more "natural" type of characters.
This idea was met with 3 or 4 pages of trolls telling me how stupid I was was and the idea was idiotic. Well....just wanted to say HA HA BITE ME!
Thank you. -
Quote:this is what i have been concerned about ever since i heard some of the details of going rogue. To Be Honest, ill be starting in preatoria most likely because it is new, this will be what many people will be thinking as well. Both red and blue side will diminish initially, then hero side will probably go back to normal (+ some) mainly due to atlas park being a hang out spot and sewer teams (i doubt preatoria will have something comparable to the lvling potential). But the rogue isles (mainly mercy island) is going to become pretty bare much like how port oaks can sometimes be, lol.Frankly I would be less concerned about the AT trends and more concerned about the low population trends on villains specifically. On some servers lowbie redside is very hard to find a team on as it is. It'll get harder if say even a quarter of redsiders start rolling their villains in Praetoria instead of the Rogue Isles.

I do not really like the EM Pulse. I never found a good reason to use it, so it ended up just a wasted power so i had to give it up for something, well better suited to my own playstyle. I am not sure if it stacks, but i honestly wouldnt doubt it if it did
I would not get assualt unless you absolutely want it, it is an end drainer, and you are already end hungry enough. Siren's song is good for some instances, but as a constant blasting blaster i would prolly say nah. Shocking bolt is always nice, but i am saying this from an ele/ele experience (i have many other holds in my build), so a weakish hold may be good for those more annoying minions (or lieuts).

Controllers: To control! They can make it so that no other support is needed. They are one of the best ATs for many people. They are so diverse in gameplay depending on the powersets.
The defender is good for well defending the teamates. This is done by severly debuffing, super buffing, or the dreaded healing (or a mixture of all of the above). By far my favorite is the force fielders. You cannot get much better than a team having near soft capped defense.
Dominators: well they are good at controlling as well, but honestly I usually do not have a dominator on my team unless it is for a concept. Im honestly not a fan of them at all. -
Okay, I finally teamed with a traps defender. I was on my newly made lvl 18ish forcefield defender. I loved the compatibility between the traps and force field. His debuffs, and ffg gave us a deffinate edge on the battlefield. We had exceptionally good defense and this lead to our triumph over about 5 missions. Overall I was very impressed with my first encounter of a traps defender.

Yeah, I dont have alot of room to talk when it comes to lag. My computer lags almost constantly. On my fire/kin, I recieve a major boost of lag at the very begining of missions, but after that it is fine. I havent noticed a change in lag cycles on any of my characters. Again, this is coming from an old computer user haha

Quote:Hello Arbiter Kim,Thanks!
I just wanted to say that its a privilege to work with one of the best MMO communities on the net. Please feel free to message me any game-related bugs and Ill make sure to bother the devs in the most annoying ways possible until its fixed!

I deffinately would like the overlay a lot more. I honestly never liked being a DE creature :P

Quote:LOL I wouldnt doubt the ability of the devs to allow us to buy costume slots... after i16 hits, costumes will be even bigger to the playerbase. As a result more people will want more slots, this would be the perfect time for them to allow us to pay for more slots
Hopefully one of these days, they will update the tailor interface to make that 6th slot editable (perhaps that will be the day they give us the ability to have even more costume slots). -

I haven't even been able to get in at all. i have been trying since late last night. Now it is just saying that i cannot connect to the DBserver. it is extremely irritating. lol. but if things are getting fixed i completely understand.

"Don't give me that crap! I spent more than a year keeping it quiet! I want to know it came out right!"
"Dude, chill. We patched twice this week. Open beta should start soon."
"Damnit... Hey Castle! What's up buddy?"
"Rule #1 of Closed Beta: do not talk about Closed Beta."
