Most of those sound really good. I especially like the new map ideas.
-
I find internet ads (banners) do work. I can't remember which game it was but i once started playing it because it sounded and looked cool from the banner.
-
Good idea, i usually like to do the events but sometimes when you need a team (Lusca) there's no one else to do it because they're off doing more rewarding things.

What i think would be awesome, a open PvP zone. Villains go there to rob banks and cause destruction. At the same time, heroes go there to stop the villains from doing their thing. It's basically a PvP Mayhem.
-
One thing i think would be an awesome addition to MA would be to create your own maps. It would bring up an edit screen like in bases and then you would make a map. Of course, i don't think it could be done and if it could it would be a lot of work.

Golden Giza and Pocket D. I don't think heroes should have their own place to gamble exclusively, doesn't seem too heroic.
I was just thinking about this as i was running through GG and noticed it was hardly used, the exterior is beautiful and the interior is pretty cool too. -

Those are usually the two i use most and it would save time trying to find a vendor before heading back to the mission. -

It's a great set, but too exclusive. -
Quote:That's why you would just call it "defeating" or "knocked out." No, it doesn't make much sense but it works.I think that's a line the devs don't quite want to cross. Yes, there is violence in the game (I'm arresting you with my razor sharp katana!), but going overt homicidal is a dark line that this game tries to skirt at most.
I think the idea of making it easier to not target them via tab is a good one, though. I find it annoying that I have to click on the vault doors, but the same feature for civilians makes a lot of sense. -
I'm all for it, to get around the rating problem call it knocked out. I agree with Techbot that they are only click target, if not it would get pretty annoying.

All i can think of is this.

This could be a good idea when it's fleshed out a bit more. Would it be a Power Pool or what? Could the Sidekick have it's own ID card with description and battle cry? What level do you get it at?
Don't forget, this is an MMO. Adding a Sidekick feature would take away from the multiplayer part because you won't need teams as much. -
I'm fairly new to the game and after getting a feel for everything, i decided to try the market. The one problem i came upon is i have no idea how much to sell anything for. I don't know if there are set prices or what. I can't check on what other people are selling it for because of the Secret Bid system.
Thanks in advance. -
I think seasons should go with whatever season RI is in. If it's summer or spring, the sun is bright and people are walking around in shorts. In fall or winter, leaves are blowing and the sky is a bit darker. Citizens are more bundled up.
This way, it gives some feeling to seasons without using weather, except maybe a little wind.
As for Day/Night, while real time would be preferable, it would never work due to all the different people playing on different schedules. I would like to see an in-game clock and longer days and nights.
A solution to using real time would be to make certain zones (Croatoa for example) always dark allowing ghosts and such to always be out. -
I vote for all Power Pool customization. But like Maniac Raid said, the devs probably won't do it.

Quote:/signed to thisMy idea had an announcement go out to the Heroside when a robbery was in progress. The size of the villain team is also announce and would limit the number of heroes that could respond. Heroes had a clock that told them how long they had before the villain/s would escape and for the villains, their objective would change to "defeat Hero/s" to escape if any responded.
General idea is good. -
Quote:Well the way i pictured it was the one long road, the minions would run at you and when they were all defeated, the boss would run forward and you only fight him (unless on a team.) The hostages would be behind him but run away when he's defeated so that they're not too easy to get.You could use the Infected map from the tutorial. It would be perfect; fight minions to the corner, turn the corner, fight to the bosses at the end. Plenty of room for hostages along the way.
I think they would have to get in a train. It makes more sense than normally using a train because it usually leads to an outdoor mission, this would just lead to another part of the city.
It is a little different from safeguards. No time limit and there's a different plot. Also you don't rescue hostages in safeguards. I think it is a little similar but missions are very repetitive. -
If one was set up i would use it and add anything that i know.
