I like the atmosphere redside, the music, the zone scenery.. A great sg like the Handies has also helped.

Back OT, I actually enjoy the smack talk... When someone starts up at me I'll often talk back. It livens things up and it becomes a bit of a fun challenge to wind them up as far as I can without actually violating the EULA or being too mean. I must admit I've had some fantastic spats with Donna in sirens. Good fun.
Being cheerful and laughing at people makes them so much more frustrated than a string of foulmouthed insults. -
Yet another great MoLRSF tonight. Well done all.

Another version of the advertisment can be found here...

Try using Mids' Hero Designer to make what you think might be a good build. Then post that up and ask for feedback. People are sometimes reluctant to just hand over builds they have spent hours working on. Good luck.
-
Hmmm, I'm not sure where to begin...
I think Slitty would like the MoRSF badge
...and perhaps a change of clothes, since she still looks like a redneck that ran away with the carnival. -
You could try getting a mission, popping a couple of purples and going into rest in front of an enemy. The trick is to find something that does resonable damage without killing you. I believe the damage must be to your base HP, so if you have HP accolades and such you'll need to make sure you're taking enough damage to sink below that. Because you're in a mission you wont be logged out for being afk - but remember to put yourself in hide so people don't waste time trying to ask for invites and such!

I just wanted to say congratulations to all Handies involved in our impromptu MoRSF run tonight!
Very smoothly done guys -
I enjoy doing the LRSF because it takes teamwork and patience. I guess I got spoiled for a while doing regular runs with a great bunch of players. Things like shivans and corr heavy teams will help but they are by no means required - teamwork and strategy are much more important.

Server:Union
Character Name:Gomer
Character Level:50
Character Archetype:Brute
Character Origin: Natural
Are you Grouped: yes
Are you Sidekicked or Lackeyed: no
Are you in a pact:no
I got the reward of 5 candy canes the first time I did the mission. Nothing about the team setup changed and the subsequent 3 missions I selected the canes again and got nothing. I was completing a lvl 30 character's mission un-malefactored. -

One question: You mentioned taking an averagely slotted character up against a setted one. Was this on Test Server or last night after I13 went live?
[/ QUOTE ]
No it was prior to test.
Does it make a difference in the sense that sets make me way more powerful than non sets?
[/ QUOTE ]
What were you playing and what were you fighting against? What was the skill level of the other player? Did they have SO's or a cheap IO build? I still doubt you'd often beat a hardcore pvper that has a well planned cheap build. Sets are less powerful now as well because of diminishing returns. -

What will happen is the large number of supposed players who the devs will want to attract to PvP will simply give it up because this actually makes it even harder (to the point of impossible for many people) to compete in the PvP theatre.
It's because if you cant begin to match the hard core players IOs in PvP you will lose interest entirely in it.
After all, when you realise that you are simply are going to be forever the loser and you cant change that because you will never get 500 millin inf (thats just for one version of your alt never mind two) you'kll end up giving up PvP entirely.
Maybe not you personally but the community that the devs are so anxious to try it out.
[/ QUOTE ]
I lose to hardcore pvpers because they're better than me, not because they have more stuff...
I believe the only time loot will really make a difference is between players of equal skill. I think a good pvper with a cheap but well planned IO build is going to beat a newcomer with an expensive build most of the time. CoX pvp has serious problems, I'm not denying that, but I just don't agree that this is a very important part of those problems. -

the only people that can utilise this typically badly thought out multi build system are going to be those that can afford to. In other words the hard core farmers basically.
the vast majority will never be able to do it any real meaningful way.
[/ QUOTE ]
So.... The game wasn't meaningful before IO's??
Even though I couldn't possibly afford to IO out Wednesday's second build with the same kind of goodies anytime soon, I still don't see how I'm losing out. It's another nice option, one I think I'll be making good use of. -

What wepaon do you think he uses? I reckon it has to be a Cricket Bat
[/ QUOTE ]
Or maybe a giant hunting knife. -
A pleasure teaming with you, keep in touch!
Best of luck -

"You're a bit of a M.I.L.F aren't you!"

*wipes a tear away*
Priceless
Must have been a couple of years ago now, I started getting some tells from a low lvl character demanding repeatedly in fairly colourful english that I pl them. I started to curse the player over vent only to hear a certain someone burst out laughing as I started to wind up... I make a habit of always checking globals these days. -
[ QUOTE ]
The door mobs spawn at about +2-3 lvls higher than you if your on a team. Far too high for one thing. Also, given how nasty the Lieutenants are, it detracts so horribly from the 'fun' of the event when you faceplant every two or three minutes.
[/ QUOTE ]
I have personally found the spawns way too easy even when dealing with multiple doors at once and teamed with two relatively inexperienced players. -
[ QUOTE ]
But i always press it when a mission is over, i think it seems more appealing to press "Quit" then "Exit" XD

I do this fairly often as well.. -

Has to be one of my favourites bugs and one I have always hoped I would one day encounter. Entered one of my mishes when an actual villain from CoV appeared. Needless to say I quickly arrested him lol.

I'll never forget your squeal of joy on vent.
Poor Corr was only lvl 6 or something -
[ QUOTE ]
why oh does my bum look big in lycra?
[/ QUOTE ]
Trick question, right? -
I still have fond memories of myself and Max Powerz on a couple of 30ish heroes jumping into a mission only to see a lvl 6 corrupter in the same instance.
After a moment of "omg...is it really?" Max squealed with delight when we realised we could target it. A moment later in local chat the poor dead corr simply pipes up with "What the..!?" -
Ahh but there's always the "Hide from searches" thingy if people want small cosy teams.
-
Hmm, will be interesting to see how these sets work out in play. I just can't stop giggling about one of the powers being called "true Grit"
