Im confused. Are we talking about someone "stealing" the name of someone for their reputation on one server in order to have that name associated reputation on another server where most people probably havent heard of the person?
Like I said before, not trying to be a jack***...I dont get it but would like to.
My name isn't very common, and when the servers combined I found my name available on Freedom and the other servers, so to find my name gone after 1 hr of Exalted going live came as quite a shock and led me to believe the only reason why my name was gone, was to grief.
But I have grown past this now, I think the reason I was so pissed at the time was due to the fact I also lost my Global at the same time also, which could also lose me communication with people I have frequent with.
So now I'm happy to live on my home server and leave Exalted to whatever frequents their. -
Was it Numina this week?, thought it was Sutter/Morty Kal.

Most of the griefing from Exalted server is because they want the Rep or Inf not so much the name itself. -

As the title suggest's, did TW get activated before time on some accounts?
I have seen various people already running around with 50's, now I know in this day an age with the various PL or farming tools within game that this is not a big achievement anymore, but I happened to look up a players info and was surprised to see that they had achieved over 900 badges, in 24 hours that would have to been nigh impossible I would have thought, so my only conclusion was they had it before. -
Give movie's the elbow and go buy yourself the box Series 1-3 Fringe, is an awesome set that you can get into very quickly.

I could buy it today, when I went to tailor and chose hats, the Pilgrim Hat was there with a little shopping basket next to it. Not checked the store to see if it's still there.

I personally been under the impression for many months now, that they want to stop all of the EU playing CoH, and make all the EU CoV only, that way we are segregated and put in our place.
Don't worry those in the EU, every now and then we get to raid Paragon and get some bit's as well
+1 to list that won't bother with this deal, but even 12+2 atm wouldn't have attracted me. -

I know there must be a valid reason, but why can't EU purchase a year and get 2 free months?
Think another MMo had the same problem, but they eventually offered it to the EU, as I brought it. -

I have noticed and know i'm not alone in this as it has been mentioned on various Global Channels how quiet it has got lately, Defiants Events is a prime example, 2 weeks ago the channel was full to capacity, last week numbers were barely above 100 which is worrying so soon after 21.5.
I have never known an issue go live and it too be so quiet.
I was wondering if any felt the same, but I have pondered a few theory's as to why numbers have thinned out.
some are as followed:-
New highly anticipated games have been released along with certain MMO's also going F2P?
I knew a few were disapointed with the way the EU were treated and were seeking other avenues of gaming and maybe now have found them?
Issue 21.5 was it a success or was it just seen as a extra mini patch?
Did Paragon release 21.5 purposely lack of any real content to concede to the other new games being brought out, with issue 22 bulging in hope to win players back?
Like I said just a few theory's as to why our server seems to have taken a bash lately, any one else have comments or other theory's? -
Hmm, just been to the local Dog pound and got myself a German shepherd, all I had to pay was £5 for his injections, come on-line today and they want more for a virtual version, I can see next week the store offering a Dog Bowl for 250 points, week after 650 for a leash, and I'm still shuddering at the thought of what they would charge for a Kennel.

For me Steam was where I learned of the other game going F2P and seems a popular tool for people in the EU.
Steam would be a good place for NCsoft to advertise CoH F2P for the EU's, it's better than nothing. -

, seriously upsets me I love this game and hope people can push past recent events and give NCsoft time to sort things out correctly, I know the saying goes "there can be only one" but I really don't want to be the only one.
I've already lost loads of friends the past couple of months and during the server merge, all I cany say is it can't get any worse, give them time to make it better. -

Another game that recently went free-to-play has queues on their two servers every night. While that in itself is not a bad thing, the queues last for several hours. Heaven forbid you disconnect for any reason.

Although I agree with content being made solo-able, I do see an advantage of having content gated behind a minimum team method.
Those that struggle due to shyness etc can indeed benefit from teaming regularly and overtime breed extra confidence within the game.
Those that are new to the game can get a better understanding by teaming with experienced players, experienced players that usually they wouldn't get to team with as most vets have there own circle of friends and only come out of circle for brief gasps of air. -
Yes it's an annoying bug, it does make me laugh when I run a Lambda and pets bug, by the time I resummon and buff, the league is already half way round the camp clearing the clockwork, that's pretty much a quarter of the trial if it's a speed run.
So when it comes to Lambda, I take a different AT just for that reason. -

Edit: Sorry, global name, not global channels. For the global name, you're losing them because, well, the US server list was there first so the US players get priority when a global name conflict comes up. If that's not good enough for you, tough @#$%. There was no way of handling that without making someone upset. You lost the draw. Get over it.
Did I mention that I wasn't paying my sub no more?
lol, I got the tough **** part, was about the only sense you made there.
Still, I'll leave this thread for the purpose it was created, I have no wish to participate with people that feel they need to swear it's childish, just a tip but when you get older you will find swearing at people isn't the be-all and end-all, take your time I'm sure you can find better wording to come across with. -

Black and white for the EU losing names to NA players: You were warned ahead of time, you were told ahead of time. They took the path that would affect the least amount of players. Sadly you were one of those players.
In order to conflict there has to be the same amount of people affected on a NA server then there are on the EU server, so if 10 from the EU had the same global as 10 on the NA they would conflict. Confliction affects either servers at the time equally, it's impossible for any side to be affected more or less, regardless of size of population.
So that answer did nothing to satisfy me, which is why I wrote a ticket and got no reply, which now I can't blame them for, if that was the best answer they could come up with and post.
