  1. Something I've noticed. I've made some mobs, Minions that have Shadow Punch and Siphon Life, and LTs that have Shadow Punch, Smite and Siphon Life.

    In both cases, each particular mob will either
    A: Use Shadow Punch, and only Shadow Punch
    or
    B: Cycle Siphon Life (and Smite) without using Shadow Punch at all.

    I'm pretty sure the case of B didn't use Gloom either but I didn't test thoroughly. I was in Invincible mode at the time if it changes anything.

  3. Stuff you noticed that isn't in the Patch notes.

    I noticed that you can now set the group of bosses and captives, and that you can set glowies to look like a ghost prior to clicking.

    Also, Ground Punch Receive is gone from Escort Inactive.

  9. I'm really proud of Winterborn. Upon listening to the song multiple times I realized it would be an awesome hero name. I checked. It was taken. I PMd the owner. Turns out it was a character their kid made on an off-server. They freed it for me.

    IE exactly 0% of the playerbase, since Brutes, Stalkers, Dominators, Corruptors and Masterminds never were part of Arachnos, and Soldiers and Widows quit first thing they do.
  13. The first step to becoming an Arbiter is renouncing your Destined One status. If you don't have the status of a Destined One, you're not a player character in City of Villains. Ergo, player characters may only ever gain Arbiter status after they retire.

  15. I'm going to try to tone down the outrage.

    Destined Ones shouldn't ever be Arbiters. That's completely different. That shouldn't be possible. Arbiters are the highest Arachnos officials. They don't run around the isles pulling odd jobs under a umbrella of Arachnos' protection.

    Yes, it's vague and subjective...but it's one of the rationalizations I have for why there these particular powers don't require a 'draw' animation, and why they don't support 'weapon' customization...even though there's not a technical restriction or limitation for either of those things.

    Try this one on for size:

    It's only a true "weapon" if the whole set is about using it. So the sets that are melds of multiple ones (Ice Fist Melee + Ice Sword Melee + Ice Gust Melee; Fire Sword Melee + Fire Fist Melee + Fire Palm Melee + Fire Breath Melee) don't have one.

    Are they something like, downloaded personalities of heavilly injured Sky Raider officers?
  19. Bug: Widow Training/Spin animation is interrupted by the "lean to your back/left" dodge animation, both Male and Female.

    All bow attacks bend the bow in unsymmetrical ways. The lower half beands about twice as far as it should.

    Silver and Gold rolls at 33 fuel my need for lvl 33s recipes. I might not venture into Siren's any more but I still build with LKing down to 30 in mind.

    My absolutely favourite finisher is Crippling Axe Kick on a knocked down and getting up enemy, usually after Crane Kick or Dragon's Tail. "And stay down!"
