MA Ticket Usage
I generally go with Bronze rolls, since you can get upwards of 50 times as many recipes with the same number of tickets, and you have to be really unlucky to average under 1/50th of your gold rolls.
Also, with Bronze rolls, you can get lots at once, rather than only get one or two at a time.
That is, of course, unless you're trying to get a specific recipe, then I recommend going for whatever will be most likely to get you the recipe you want

Mostly just going for a healty 'Ticket to recipe sale value' ratio.
Make a good point about the bronze recipes.
I normally aim at 'Common Arcane Salvage' until I hit about 30-35, at which point I switch up to Bronze rolls.
With 32 salvage slots, at 8 tickets/roll, I can generally net 5-6 (low end average) Alchemical Silvers (35,000/shot on a good day) and a handful of other things with sell values between 1,500 to 12,500 (also, on a good day). It really depends on the luck of it all.
Blueside, I can net 600k to 1m on 32 rolls (for 256 tickets or just under 4 Bronze rolls at 25), which is a pretty good average to me. Far less dicey, too, as people are almost always snapping up Runes, Alchemical Silver, Spell Ink, and Masterwork Weapons (all in my target range). Redside, it's a bit harder to gain money, but I can still net roughly the same average.
After 30, though, Bronze rolls can offer far greater returns on investment, though a bit more prone to being streaky. Netting a good proc, though, will always trump salvage rolls.
I just prefer a bit of a guarantee of profit.
If you pay attention to the market, for some odd reason a lot of uncommon salvage right now is downright rare, and going for upwards of 50,000 or 100,000 per piece.
You can buy specific uncommon salvage items, for like... 50 tickets each, I think? IE, buy 10 or so of the one that seems to be selling for 100,000 per piece at the current moment. Put them up for sale at, say, 65,000 each. Come back tomorrow.
Just sayin'.

I have found that silver rolls, 30-34 are spiffy. I got this idea from a SG mate so it's not original.
I have been hitting some nice procs in this range...and tons of Obliterations.

It's 80 tickets, but that's still a large profit margin considering some uncommons can go for 1 mil redside.
I roll all my tickets into salvage. I've got the recipes memorized, I've got the money, all I need is the salvage.

But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

Silver rolls also have some pretty good stuff in them, but bronze has stuff like knockback protection IOs. I forget what level they stop at though, I think it's like 30?
So find out whatever level the karma and aegis KB protection IOs stop at, and get bronze rolls that have a chance of dropping those. Bronze is a pretty good way to go considering their low cost.
Silver and Gold rolls at 33 fuel my need for lvl 33s recipes. I might not venture into Siren's any more but I still build with LKing down to 30 in mind.

In what Random Recide range should I spend MA Tickets, when thinking in terms of profits to be made on the Black Market or WW?
WOuld have assumed, 30-34 Gold Recipes Hero side, but that may not be the best range after all. VIllian side, I don't even have a guess...again, I would assume it to be same as hero, but don't know for sure.
Does that question make sense? Hehe, it's a little late, so may not be being very clear.
Thanks for any insight.
