Eden is instanced in Vernon Von Grun's arc
I don't think the Hollows and CF are instanced anywhere though -

Quote:From what I've read, Tyrant is supposed to be extremely powerful in GR. He's supposed to be level 60 (or level 64? we'll have to wait and see), so we won't be running into him for at least a couple of days after GR hits live. What Positron (dev) has been working on is a system of global enhancements (10 in total) for our characters that are supposed to be gained through achievements and accomplishments (aka more grinding) which will allow us to attain the mythical level 60, and only then will we be able to face Tyrant.in all honesty, i think tyrant is extremely underpowered right now, he is prolly one of the weakest praetorians, even though hes supposed to be the super powered leader of them, and in the background information of tyrant on the GR website, it says that he basically solo'd hamidon (or at least weakened him)
i dont really want him to turn into another reichsman, but he definitly needs some improvements to at least be on par with statesman.
I don't think soloing him will be an option, not even for perma PA ill/rads (baseless speculation) -
Yeah, you should go try a real AV like Ms Liberty or Silver Mantis
-
The Abyss is instanced in the Hamidon mission of the LGTF, but I don't think The Hive has an instanced version
-
The Dreck map is an instance of Boomtown
Edit: I don't think Bloody Bay has an instanced version either -

Neutrino Bolt, X-Ray Beam and Cosmic Burst paired with Sonic Siphon are a great attack/debuff chain for a Rad/Sonic Corruptor
-
You will however retain the hold resistance for whatever the duration of acrobatics' last tick is (which is like 2 seconds I think)
-
As mentioned before, for big teams go Sonic. For solo and small teams, go Fire
-
1.- The recharge cap for any given power is +400%
2.- Yes -

Synapse answered this question, a Scythe is very specific weapon that doesn't really lend itself to concept flexibility, and it's not very predominant in the comic book world like say, a sword or an axe.
-
Performance always comes first for me, but I'm not just some heartless minmaxer who doesn't care about concept, quite the contrary actually.
When I make a toon I pick powersets first, and then based on the powersets I create a concept that explains his origins. Take for instance my Defender, an ordinary cricket that one day jumped into a discarded radioactive powersuit wasting away in a pond in Crey's Folly, which mutated him into a (semi) intelligent superhero. His powersets? Rad/Sonic of course

Quote:Yeah, E-Fence is a good attack but a bit harsh on the end bar. What toggles do you run? you need to learn how to manage the endurance on your toon (aka when defense alone can keep you alive, turn off res toggles such as Tough and Charged Armor, and when resistance alone can keep you alive, turn off Weave and RI, etc)Shriek, Scream, Electric Fence, with an occasional Screech for more -res. I have Shout, but I don't use it in those situations, I kept it for A) another place to slot Thunderstrike, and B) the rare occasions I feel like PvPing with that character. (since I play on Pinnacle, those occasions are rare indeed)
Then there is also Power Sink... -
Quote:No patron shield? On my Son/Rad corr I can fight indefinitely running Weave/Hover/RI/EF using the Shriek/Scream/whatever the stun is called chain.
Only if I toggle on Tough do I eventually run out. That said, it takes me about as long to get down to 1/4ish endurance as it does for CP to recharge so gg. -
Quote:Goes both ways, just because it fits your narrow-minded, low-expectation definition of the word doesn't make it right either. His build produced a desired effect and is ready for action. And you can see from the responses that several of us did find it impressive. Not meeting your personal definition of the word, or the goals you'd set for yourself, doesn't make it any less acceptable or correct for him to say that his build is effective.
Either way the point remains, no matter how dense you want to be

Quote:And you did ok for a Mastermind with no pets, I get that it's a challenge and believe me, nobody understands the concept of challenge better than I do. I was simply pointing out that the term "effective" doesn't belong in the thread titleTo those who feel the need to remind me that the character would be more effective with Henchmen: don't waste your breath. The purpose of the experiment was to take a Mastermind with no Henchmen and see what I could do with it. If I was in it for the orange numbers, I'd roll a Brute or a Blaster.
-
You were playing on +0/x3 I'm guessing? and it took you over 90 seconds to clear a Council spawn that small? yeah, that's not effective.
Cute? yes. Effective? newp. -
The toughest GMs, numerically speaking, are U'kon Gr'ai (level 54) and the Kronos Titan (outdoor FF version, level 52). Hamidon is a raid mob so he's a special case, but his core has around 45k hp, which is the same as Ghost of Scrapyard (who is in turn a level 30 GM). DE Monsters are generic lvl 50 GMs, so they also rank up there numerically
From weakest to strongest:
Kraken
Paladin
Babbage
Deathsurge
Lusca*
Adamastor
Eochai
Ghost of Scrapyard
Jack in Irons
Caleb
Jurassik.
*Lusca being a special case because it's 9 GMs in one, the main one having shiploads of resistances to all damage types.
The rest would be tough to decide depending on the criteria, but U'kon Gr'ai reamins the only level 54 GM ingame (aside from dropships) -
Quote:Yes, if she chooses not to use her 'Mindride' signature abilityWouldn't Sister Psyche now age normally because she is in her original body again?
If I was Statesman I would just have meaningless one-night stands with whatever thousands of women he gets to rescue, without any type of feelings involved whatsoever.
(I'd stay away from my own granddaughter though, cause that's just creepy)
