acrobatics question

Does the KB protection from acrobatics suppress when you are mezzed (stunned/slept/whatever).

Does the hold protection suppress when mezzed?

Yes.

Yes.

If I recall correctly, that is. Since it's a self-only toggle, it won't turn off, but the effects won't be applied, either, so you will lose the hold and KB protection if you are mezzed.

I don't believe so.

I know defense/resistance/etc. suppress, but I don't believe KB protection or mez resistance/protection suppress. That would kind of defeat the purpose of the suppression, since it's supposed to keep you from being detoggled every time you're mezzed.

If mez protection/resistance supressed, you would run into problems with being chain-mezzed to death.

So, I don't think they suppress.

You will however retain the hold resistance for whatever the duration of acrobatics' last tick is (which is like 2 seconds I think)

Hoping this is true. I'll test it when I get home from work unless someone beats me to it.

Well, looks like I was wrong. From ParagonWiki:

Toggles that are suppressed will continue to drain endurance and provide mez protection, but all other attributes will shut off.
I'm not sure if the resistance values of Acrobatics will still be in effect, but I would wager that they would be.

Well, i'm pretty sure that for suppression purposes mez resistance is treated the same as actual mez protection. Something to double check the next i play one of my squishies.

Well, having mez resistance suppress would be worthless

Only somewhat. Mez resistance does help prevent mez stacking if the inital mez isn't enough to overcome your protection by making the mez wear off sooner, and for mezzes like knockdown and knockup it directly reduces the magnitude.

Also, under the old rules for mezzes the toggle would turn off, not just suppress, so you quickly lost the resistance anyway once you were mezzed and consequently detoggled...

Just as a note: I tested this and the KB protection does suppress sadly. I have not been able to test the hold protection yet.

Did you test in PVP, PVE, or both?
