    Here is one I've done:

    Starthunder
    Starthunder w/Bow

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's the best one yet. Is that costume from the Wedding Pack?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Thanks!

The top is; it's the Excess Plus. The rest is standard: patent leather pants, wrapped boots, small gloves, and tied belt. I also make liberal use of scales; in this case high, wide cheek bones were important to me.

I'll admit that I'm a costume novice, and I find myself stuck with 2 base colors and metal accents.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Would three metallic tones count? I don't consider metallic tones to be any less of a color, especially as it's the main color for some, therefore many of my costumes are three.

So, would you rather have the Lady Gray TF or a revamped Positron?

I'd rather have a revamped Positron.

Old, broken content should be fixed or removed, not left out to fester where everyone can see it, no matter how much shiny new stuff is propped up next to it.

For Females, it seems with wings the chest Enforcer Chest piece goes away.

    [/ QUOTE ]

My insect winged fairy character uses the Enforcer chest piece for her armor. Both are still very much there. I can't post a pic from work, but will try to do so later.
  5. When I wanted a screenshot of two of my characters together (not a dual boxer), I shot both of them in front of the Steel Canyon University. The concrete "tiles" on the ground make great "place markers* and the shadows from the tree are good indicators of the same light level (i.e. time of "day")

Loved the new Bridal and Groom stuff. However, I found one error in addition to the hair set.

With the tuxedo's there is no way to adjust the color of the interior colors of the tail of the tuxedos.

    Eric

    [/ QUOTE ]

Same fix for the interior of the veil and old trench coat problem. Set the colors you want for the inside of the coat on any item, then click on the "Copy Current Colors Across Entire Body".

The colors will copy, then unclick the option and reset the colors of all the costume pieces you want different colors. The inside of the coat will stay with the copied colors.

they are mostly just skin options, you can't overlay them like their plain counterpart patterns.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Agree with this one. I'd love to see the new patterns as "Patterns" in addition to "with skin"

    [ QUOTE ]
I did make this one costume because I liked the way the tails of the coat seemed like extensions of the wings...but looking at it today I feel it is both hideous and strangely cute. I don't know if I will keep it.

Laugh if you will: Slashdancer - Magical Fairy style but then I will have to cut you up into a million tiny pieces.

    [/ QUOTE ]

*steals idea and runs off with it* I never would have thought of using the tux tails that way.
  8. Here a few I've done. I've not gotten screenies of the ones I've made since those, or the concept ones on unused servers.

    <QR>

Do the tuxedo tails have the horrible butt cape trench coat physics going on? Or do they actually look ok?

    [/ QUOTE ]

They flow from the mid-back and look much more natural than the trench coats.

Anyone else have an issue trying to get more then one code? My sisters account is on my master account and I cant get a 2nd code for her.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I had to use a second card to get a second code. Tried several times with the original. Don't know what that'll mean for my 3rd account which also has a couple of characters that want a couple of the pieces.

    No veil?

    [/ QUOTE ]

There is a veil, but as it is bugged atm and shows up as nothing more then a black blanket tied to my character's head, I didn't include it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Bugged, but the color on the outside of the veil is tied to the hair color.... as seen here.

I posted it in the Costume Bug thread.
  12. New wedding sets are incredibly awesome.... and I know you know about the lack of "lacy", but I also noticed that the "Bridal Veil" colors the back side of the veil with the same color as the hair as seen in this screen shot; making the only way to have a fully white veil is to also have white hair.
  13. Name: Mouseion at Alexandria

    Currently Recruiting: Yes.

RP Level: RP-lite. Prefer folks to play and interact in character whenever possible, but not necessarily 100% of the time.

Theme/Concept: Hypatia, daughter of Theon and last librarian of Alexandria; upon hearing of the order to destroy all pagan temples in Alexandria, utilizing knowledge acquired from the Library, managed to transport the Mouseion's scrolls to an alternate plane. She always had the intention of bringing them back once a new, safe location was found. Unfortunately, she was murdered before such a place was available.

Her daughter, Iokaste, knew the scrolls were safely in another dimension, but not which one, or how to retrieve them. She called on Cleio, muse of history; and Hecate, goddess of witchcraft and crossroads, for aid. Her aid arrived in the form of a Lampade, a nymph serving Hecate. The Lampade was made mortal with the knowledge that each generation would be bound in service and friendship with the eldest of Iokaste's line. It's powers over darkness remained, however; and with each generation bound at birth, the darkness of Hecate was shared between the infants.

The eldest of Iokaste's line, Ms. Hypatia, and her lampade friend, Cleio Ananke; continue to search for the scrolls here in Paragon City, with the aid of the Portal Corporation. But while they search they have opened a new Mouseion. It too contains copies of most of the works written since the destruction of the original scrolls, and it too is a center for learning and study.

  14. The VG my BF and I have our villain duo in isn't a "Villain Group", it's just the Vincibie's houseboat. So it'll never be huge, but what we have is fun so far.

    The back deck
    The salon
    The galley
    Our office
    The stateroom

But we do need a little storage for all of the loot we're acquiring so...

    The docks area
    Inside the warehouse
Our personal storage area (please note the metal grate that pulls across and locks... we think people sleep in the unlocked areas)

    ((In game overview))
  15. Hmmm...

1st 2xp weekend (my first) was last January's: Spent the weekend preparing to move, but managed to get my first character from 12-24.

Last June's: Called in sick to work and played random alts. I don't think I had a specific goal other than Wila to 38 (RoA ftw), and the Krasivyy's (3) to travel powers.

This weekend: I'm on call on Friday, but planning on playing from beginning to end with brief breaks for food, bio, and sleep. I've got a lot of alts to get past Stamina.
  16. A couple of ideas, colors specifics not included:

    Idea 1
    Idea 2

Just to get the creative juices flowing.

Alrighty, tried out some of the Magic Desk Stuff. But how do you stack the high bookshelves like Baisleac did for the Entrance way in his/her base? The stacked desks aren't the same height as the bookshelves.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Lots and lots of desks and floor heights. Floor heights are the key to no overlap on shelves.

For the top layer of shelves, I built 8 desks high on the mid-floor. Next level was 4 desks high on the highest floor. Then 4 desks high on the lowest level. Then right on the floor on the mid-level again.

Here we go... info on heights and floors

    p.s. I'm female.
  19. [ QUOTE ]
I want stacking now, yesterday, today and I just can't seem to even make one magic desk!

You can tell me to read the damn tutorial again, I have already done so twice and it still doesn't work at all.

    [/ QUOTE ]

They're not perfect. Sometimes they just don't work; sometimes the desks need to face in certain directions (in some bases only one direction will work), sometimes certain areas of a room will temporarily or permanently "demagic" a desk (3 southwest blocks in my TP room do this), etc.

The other option is to post asking, politely, for someone to come watch you work in the base itself and offer pointers that way. I'm at work or I'd offer myself.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
I don't know if these numbers are exact, I don't know for certain how those who came up with them did so, but they seem right. One floor height is 4 feet tall, one desk 3 feet, and the tall shelves ar 8 feet. Therefore, a stack of 4 desks would be 12 feet, the same as a tall bookshelf on a floor one height greater than the one the stack was built on.

Building a library like the one you linked to would involve considerable planning and calculation beforehand, because you'd have to completely dissassemble and rebuild the desk stack each time you had to raise or lower the floor height, which you would have to do for each layer.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Correct. I've currently built one 4-layer, one 3-layer, and one 3.5-layer stacked shelves so far.

The 4 layers was the most time consuming, desk stacking wise. I started on the mid-floor level with desks stacked 8 high, placed the shelves, then moved all of the desks to the next room over. Next step, raised the floor to the highest level, stacked the desks 4 high (can reuse the previously magic'd desks), placed the shelves, and moved all of the desks back to the next room over. 3rd step, lower the floor to the lowest level, stacked the desks 4 high again, placed the shelves, and moved... blah blah. Last step, move the floor back to mid-level and place the shelves on the floor.

For the 3 layer, I just omitted the mid-floor 8 stack. For the 3.5, built the stack on the edge of one floor section, and placed half shelves in front of them on the lowest height.
