  1. yeah i agree, if you're going to bother with any fire def, 30-35% one purple away, will be fine. and you wont need to worry a whole lot if you forget to pop a purple. leaving most to turn into reds.
  2. i thought about using the purple hold in kob. but thats only a 5% recharge gain since i have a 5% recharge in it. however, if i did replace it, then i could use another set of oblits i guess in burn. hmmmmm
  3. actually, to me the recharge is worth it, im very rarely even going to be using fences, just as a filler if the other 4 are down, but i dont think thats going to be often if at all. i will probably keep them up, but their duration will be pretty long. i did think about a posi set in fences as well, but id be over cap on some of the bonuses. so its 10% recharge or none. however, if i could afford the pvp taoe set, or ragnaroks, i'd slot them for sure. likewise, i'd use 5 armas in footstomp.
  4. i saved up my pennies and finally put together a proper farming build. i havent timed it, but it feels like its going through it quicker.
    quite enjoyable.

  5. i would 5 slot kinetic combats in the attacks for the run speed. you have neither teleportation nor a decent run speed. you will be fine once you get into a group of bad guys, but getting there will be painfully slow.

    regen tissue- 2 slot in health. you already have the proc, replace the common heal io with a regen tissue heal.

    aegis-2 slot into resists.

    gift of the ancients. very useful 7.5% run speed. spread the love around your defensive toggles. it still gives a defense enhancement too.

    thanks for the tips. as for the travels, since im dipping into them anyway, and botz is a 2 slot bonus, its one of the most efficient ranged def/slot bonuses out there. and since ill be using hover, i thought taking a melee attack would be a bit redundant. you're right though that the set bonuses for them can be really nice. perhaps if i stole slots from boxing i could 6 slot makos and lose 1 travel. i was considering posis in blizzard, and i guess its hard to say if dipping below the cap is worth it, but then again, ona team, someones running maneuvers or shielding, so probably better to have a big dmg nuke than go for that extra 2% defense.

  10. i think km/sd has some synergy. people have spoken before about the stacked -dmg. not a whole lot of aoe though, but of course you can supplement that with epic/patron. the main difference is, for example, rage works on patron powers. power siphon, you have to activate 5 km powers first.

    but i bet you sit yourself in a s/l farm, and you can run through it pretty fast with another aoe from epic/patron. km is a decent set overall. i like it so far. (24 atm on my km/sd)

    im indifferent about a travel.

    on the other notes, i am capped to positions, but thought some more durability in the form of resistance might be helpful. on the other hand, you're correct, it could free some slots, for instance to stick in physical perfection. i'll have to monitor my endurance and see if thats a better bet
  13. id just keep slotting up your ss/fire. perhaps have a second build for regular content. first build for farming. its very possible to get durable on it. soul pool helps.
  14. id steal a couple slots and 4 slot char with basilisk. nice bonuses
  15. you think the endurance will be more useful? possible. its only 20 hp and a little bit of regen. probably a good idea.

  20. nice runs guys. you know, i guess i always assumed, since i didnt have much inf or experience, that i'd be miles and miles behind the pros. but turns out im fairly close, either by luck or by internet connections somewhat levelling the playing field. usually in these things, if my connection is working nicely, i can finish it up fast. likewise it suffers greatly sometimes from lag. so around 4 minutes, from my actual regular content build, is pretty good i'd say. anyway, ill post it here since we're talking about these things. its not a specific farmer, (when i make some more inf i may do a farming build as his second build)

  21. excellent question. maybe go 4 fotg including the proc and 2 ff, including the proc. get you some knockback protection anyway. i know you wont get any recharge out of it, but, meh.
  22. some days my load times seem to be competing with my time to do a farm. but anyways, i dont think ive been even near 2 mins for capping tickets. let alone clearing the first room. and i usually do +3/x8, not +4. of course it takes longer with someone on the team, since bosses spawn, but solo i think my best times are just over 3 minutes to cap ticks for the mission. luck plays a small factor, in red insp drops, but between 3:30 and 4:00 seems normal.
