    mids update?

hi all..i got mids 1.9.10 the other day but now it says theres another update and to click on it.

so i do and then it says it needs to apply. so of course i do and then it comes up. however if i wanna click a link on a build here on the forums and try to open it.i get this message telling me theres an update again and needs to restart again.

so i hit ok but it stops the build from coming up. so i click the link again and the same thing happens on how it needs to restart and stop the build from coming up

    anyone else having mid troubles?
  2. thanks to t.a. for alittle hami tonight..wasnt expected but welcomed in the same.

tank team had to petition again for no reward but the whole raid had a ton of new people again and a few on the tank team as well.

22 minutes isnt up to par with the normal folks but still well done!..thanks to kiddygrade for the raid even if that slacker wulf wasnt around :P
  3. idk jean grey has been dead for a long time now...i know hope looks alot like her but still!
  4. yeah think of f.e. along the same lines as hasten...nothing can be done to it but recharges for max potential and yes i have both nerve for the acc and defense and cardiac for the end and dam resistance.

my end for this build is 3.18%/sec ( 3.50 end/sec) so its really not too bad plus i have conserve power and consume. so if i use nerve and not cardiac im still quite fine suprislying i havent used cp yet on him.

as to how exspensive he is. the 3 i.os alone are 6 billion by themselves if your lucky to get them off the market.from random people on the foprums itll be around 9 bills for them alone.plus the defense ones which are exspensive as well...more toward 10 bill

but the good news is this really isnt far out anymore thanks to hero merits and incarnates. you can grab any of those using ae tickets, hero merits and reward merits,i recently just made over 4 billion alone using just 2 hero merits each time. every 20 hours run over. grab a lotg + recharge then make it and sell it for the current asking of 200 mill. market advice is to find the cheapest most valuable thing and sell it for major cash. in this case its the lotg + recharge.

dont waste 35 hero merits for 2 billion when you can make 4 billion off of 20 hero merits!double your profits and have any build you want!.within one month of doing this you will easily be over 5 billion alone in influence.( plus with whatever you get in random drops and sell makes it even more!)

i hit the influence cap 3 times just doing this alone!..currently back at 1.9 bill on my fire tank with a 300 mill in an email i didnt have room for!

and with all the tf's now. this makes it even easier to grab teams for tfs and still sneak in those tips to get even more hero merits!that means high end builds are way more easier and done within 2 months play time. but only if your willing to curve the alt-itis!
  5. heres mine i currently have and use.

i sit at 46% s/l defense and 46% melee defense as well...hes a beast for these tf's and i also use nerve alpha slot

granted soft capping any fire tank is hard and will cost you big money.but it can be done and it does do very well!

  6. 1st 50 was my fire tank in dec 26th 2004....I believe I was 50 by feb 2005.

Farming back then was wolf farms and the asn and kraken farming.not to mention it was around the same time the first wnterlord event happened...and we all know what happened then

So if your toon was made then we all farmed from lvl35 to 50

thanks for fixing burn before you left. buh bye!
  12. you will..just as soon as you buy city of heroes 2!!!! coming to a store near you some time in the near future!
  13. did both successfully on the first try..although i lead a team who hadnt done it before either in beta or open beta and they had to get use to the idea of actually not standfing still.

but we got it ..tin mage was easy...well easy (er) :P
  14. Severe

    Umm...

right so seeing how its not rewarding everyone. it would be a bug..right?

hense why it needs to be fixed.being with issue 19 and hami dropping shards it should need alittle more priority at the moment
  15. Severe

    Umm...

If you're not getting shard drops, I expect it's because shards are randomly awarded to a player on one of the teams that damaged the mito. And since the tanks' job is to stand there and taunt, not use any attacks, they never do damage.

The solution for this is to realize that it's not necessary to have all the taunt tanks on one team. Put a taunt tank on each team and just keep track of who you are so you know when to go in and taunt your respective mitos, and the remainder of the team fights mitos as normal; that way, each taunt tank is on a team that's doing damage to the mitos, and gets a chance at incarnate-shard drops.

the end reward is the problem not shard drops.its a nice story you have there but its not the case.

the case is when the taunt tanks(all on same team) go back to the mitos before they bloom we take aggro of our mito while the after the 3rd bloom we dont reset.we take hami without clearing the mitos.

and even if we hit hami repeatedly we dont end up gettin any reward window at all showing up..this has been an issue since iss 19 came up. 3 weeks and no rewards and it only happens to the tank teams.

ive gotten all my rewards through petitions which means i am and we( the whole team) has hit hami repeatedly.so its not a case of missing or anything else.trust me i dont care about how many shards i get from mitos and it has nothing to do with it

    patch notes...fixed tin mage!

    COMBINED

    Tin Mage Task Force
Players should no longer crash when being awarded the Power of Neu badge after defeating Neuron.

    Winter Event
Players who defeat the Winter Lord should now be able to enter the Lord Winter’s Realm from Paragon City and Rogue Isles.

    Umm...

its all redownloaded so no biggie either way

tin mage is crashing whole teams and hami doesnt give rewards to the tank teams who being part of it for the last 2 weeks ive had to petition and wait to get my reward.

castle sent it to q.a...no word back yet on why its happening
  17. Severe

    Umm...

like a 3 gig download...idk if its just a winterlord thing..hoping they fix the hami problems and the tin mage tf problems too in there.

with their limited time they work during the holidays i think it would be really a bad call to let this continue throughout the holidays

    1st for me

grats but as a fire tank myself...clean up yer trays! omg their a mess !! :P
  20. well you do realize all this talk about end issues really isnt an issue if you just get the alpha slot and equip cardiac's 33% end reduction right?.

i do have my own defensive build but i opted alittle different. see i wasnt willing to give up damage so by moving a couple of slots around i was able to still slot up f.e and b.u. fully and be at a 44.9% to both s/l and melee defense

yes i know that its not techically soft capped. but it is once you place in nerve from the alpha slot/

now im over 46% to both and yet fully able to dish out max damage . which is what the op wanted in the first place. so you really can have your cake and eat it to. since the first tier of cardiac is easy to get you already have no issues.or move a couple slots around and use nerve for the +defense to get you over any humps
  21. yay willows back!..

your lucky cause you were about a week away from me getting you a time card lady!

    non-SS tank?

    An "I Quit" Post

the fact that high lvl stuff now comes into play is the ONLY reason im still here.

im not into playing the same low lvl arcs ..i wanna play my 50s and as long as they stick to their word on the incarnate stuff then ill be here.

im all about the high lvl stuff so this issue was the greatest in a long time!
  24. well thats awesome if you want my builds id be glad to send them to ya.
