Do folks still use leveling pacts?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm sure people who play in static teams of 2 do. I tend to play in static teams of 4-6 though, so lvl pacts don't do us much good (still, we use them for novelty sometimes though.)

Anyways, I would love to seem them expanded.
  2. So hot.

(edit: this is a near perfect issue in my mind)
  3. I get an error trying to start test on my XP machine. Says DfEngine.dll was not found when i try to load it up. Is that the same error you folks are getting?
  4. Thanks for the review. I plan to use some Legacy mobs once I can customize their descriptions.

Also, the main reason the EBs are the way they are is because I didn't want them spawning in the boss pool. Mine is a lazy solution though.

    Thanks again.
  5. The account management should list the date of your most recent vet reward and, often, the next reward which you receive is listed greyed-out as well (though, this might be dependent upon several factors, one of which is whether or not the next reward is within your current billed time).

Anyways, the point is that the account management should list even your most recent vet rewards, if it doesn't and you feel like you are missing some, then I would contact support.

Pretty cool video; I had never seen that before today. Interesting that they'd thought about doing Shapeshifting as a power at one time.

Also I saw some unfamiliar villainous factions listed:

    Seraphim
    Twilight Men
    Fear Factor
    Revalation
    The Killing Crew

    Pretty neat!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hm..... intersting villain groups, might be a good thing to try to make in the MA...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think there was a somewhat recent explanation (year or so ago) of what some of these villain groups evolved into. I think the Twilight Men became the Malta and Fear Factor became the Carnival, though I might be misremembering them. I forget if any of the others were mentioned.
  7. I have tentative interest as well, but I have a few questions.

First of all, I almost never PvP aside from a few recent SG duels, sorry if I ask anything too newbish.

Could SG mates sign up as a team? Additionally, in this scenario would it be possible to have subs. (ie. 4-6 globals sign up on a team, but only 3 show up to the match from the larger group).

Sorry for the odd questions, but this might determine interest by those in our 7-person SG.

Didn't Kinetic Tut used to run in teams killing Paragon Protectors in Crey's Folly circa-I2/3?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yup! That sounds like me. I do have the protector badge. I was around since the beginning, quit for a while, came back for CoV, quit again, and now I should be back to stay.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think I started my first Kinetics character after being dully impressed with how easy it made those PP's. Too bad not many people fight in hazard zones anymore, those were good times.

    Yes. I do win.

That picture makes me wish they would update the bare hand patterns.
  11. Rather than remove the 4th tier powers, I would rather they just add a second 4th tier choice... or just leave it as is. There are generally enough powers to choose from.
  12. I think healing flames allows it, but i have never tried.
  13. I didn't read the whole thread, but wanted to pop in with a couple remarks:

    1) I don't know if it's the Steam deal or what, but I have seen a ton of no-vet-badge players out there. I tend to find noobishness cute if perpetrated by a genuine noob. Attempt to teach before attempting to punish seems a good rule when dealing with new players.

    2) Playernotes are great. Using a playernote can help you avoid playing with a player in the future since they are global (too bad they don't show up in the search window, but that's another story). Make sure to set them to "always on" in the options, this will put them above a players head (only if they have been rated) as you travel the city.

Also, the best thing about playernotes is that it is a great way to alleviate stress without kicking or punishing a player. Take down the note, feel some self-satisfaction, and finish out the TF/arc/etc. with that idiot running around with the 1 lil star over his/her head.
  14. Also faces. There are supposed to be 20 new faces.
  15. Didn't they have some prestige grants for testing purposes? Maybe its from that.
  16. quick Q.

Speaking of near unbeatable missions. Has anyone ever beaten the generator mission in RWZ? I haven't ... but i have only tried on a medium sized teams.
  17. Sefu gives a TON of exp. Probably more than an AV ... he is harder than many AVs though also.
  18. Castle has stated that the damage buff was only one of the upcoming changes.
  19. I think it would be neat if Dual Pistols had a combo mechanic like Dual Blades. Probably a lot of people wouldn't like that though.
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if they put a damage debuff on Domination (down to dominators w/o domination right now, or so). Then, you can choose to be control-o-matic w/ bonuses by hitting the bubbly button or just damage it up.

Y'all would get a much better reception if a sizable portion of that 10% wasn't composed of the most thin-skinned, arrogant players around, most of whom also labor along under the weight of outsize persecution fantasies.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    zounds!
  22. I think that in GRogue former villains will either have to do a patron arc via Ouro, or something like that, or patron pools will just be severed from the patron entirely and villains, like heroes, will be able to choose a pool upon hitting 41.

It don't think they are going to muddy the waters with a new ancillary/patron system.

Great deal. Wish I did it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Don't quote me on this, but I'm fairly confident the offer will still stand for future booster packs too. So don't forget about this option when Super Science comes around!

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Would love clarification on this.

I thought he said "Type-R", as in a racing reference?

    This interpretation wins for me.
