Don't quote me on this, but I'm fairly confident the offer will still stand for future booster packs too. So don't forget about this option when Super Science comes around!

Wait why can't I just buy both booster packs for the price that I'd be spedning on one with this? I don't see the sense unless youget something else with the AE box?

For your $20 you get:
Free month ($15 value)
Free booster ($10 value)

So, if you planned on playing another month and was going to buy either of the two booster... buy this, it's cheaper.

id rather be able to find it in a store instead so i dont have to do the whole download from everything after GVE but still no luck here and every place i ask look at me like im on crack and proclaim it doesnt exist and/or will never get it

You don't "need" it. But as others have said, there are two
advantages with it.

1) If you aren't/don't want to keep backups of your game
install, this gives you a more up-to-date copy to reinstall from,
should you ever need to(IE: less to download to patch up.)

2) It comes with a free month, and a free voucher for one of
the two "booster" packs. This saves you $5 if you still want one
of the boosters you don't have.

If either or both of these is appealing to you, there you go. If
not, no reason.

But... they arent really free. Youre paying 20$ For boosters that dont cost that much. 0.o And does the free month apply even if youre account is active?

Getting the updated client installer would be good though. I could also see it being a good thing if I didnt already have all the addons for the game... maybe if they come out with a new booster soon I will.

$15 for a month of play
$10 for a superbooster
= $25

OR

Architect Edition, which includes:
(a free month of play = $15)
(a free superbooster = $10)
= $20

so your savings is $5 if you buy the Arch.Ed. instead of a month and a booster separately. Yes, the free month is applied even if your account is active and paid for. It adds a month of play to the end.

Ah well thats good then. Wonder if the booster voucher is good indefinitely though.

I believe it sits in your account as an unused code if you don't apply one at the time of purchase. I haven't tried.

If I remember correctly, when I applied my code, I was prompted to choose a the Cyborg or Magic Booster Pack. I don't recall seeing a 'Do not choose now' for that portion. But then I wasn't really paying attention either, because I already have the cyborg pack and wanted the Magic Pack.

They may, or may not, add the new packs to that option as they come out.
