The Incarnates System is the finally realized COH end game. It started with Issue 19/Going Rogue, as such, you will need to buy the Going Rogue to participate. Additional content came with Issue 20.
Incarnates revolves around a couple of TFs and a couple of Trials so far. The Trials involve multiple teams arranged in a League (new feature). You grind them to get drops which you'll use to craft additional abilities. -
You could send a private message to Noble Savage to see if he could provide something.

Are you getting:
"Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\NCsoft\City of Heroes\crashrpt.dll' is denied." ?
A bunch of us encountered that with the last patch. -
Ah. I encountered someone like this just the other day. I thought it was just an isolated case. He kept saying that he was below the map, but I could clearly see him above it. I could target him and hitting F would bring me right to him. I also saw him successfully attack some NPCs. I thought about trying to cast a buff on him, but he kept flittering around and wouldn't stay still for me to get close enough to him again. Eventually, he finally decided to listen to someone's suggestion to re-log.

Congrats.
Who got to eat that plaque that everyone had touched? -
Generally, typing: /stuck should pop you back onto the map.
Edit:
Back in the day, when I was new and sending support tickets more often, I used to friend all the GMs I came across. It was just for kicks. I didn't bother them directly. -
Oh, so you're saying the colors are hosed because I joined a new channel and it hadn't been saved into the chat.txt file.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I think we need more women in this thread.

Quote:I concur. Primal Duray can seemingly teleport at will. His tp recharge is not 2 minutes. If I try to chase, I can barely get 2 ranged shots out before he's gone again. When I was melee, chasing was just a waste of effort. That is absolutely not true - I've had MANY cases where he would teleport, and would teleport again before the entire team could even catch up to his next location. I would guess at his TP recharge at about 15 seconds - though he doesn't always use it as soon as it recharges.

I don't use Mids either. I learned how to use Set IOs, etc. with pencil, paper and calculator too. Of course, I do have several years practice building and rebuilding over 2 dozen characters, so I'm not starting from scratch.
While I may not achieve the most optimized, min-maxed builds, the builds I do come up with are affordable and available (ie purchasable from the Markets). My builds conform to my personal minimum requirements, depending on compromises taken, and I do realize that they have room for improvement, but then that gives me something to do later on. And it gives me a reason to read threads on build advice to discover something that wouldn't have occurred to me to try. -

What bugs me is that occasionally, my global channel colors change back to defaults. It has happened several times, but I haven't been able to pin down what causes it. And the strange thing is that not all the channels default back. There are usually a few out of my 15 channels that are still custom colored which fakes me out for several days until I wonder what is it that feels different about the game. Yeah, I'm kind of oblivious at times, so I have no idea when the issue happens. Still, I don't mess with the Chat [save to file] button in Options or the chat.txt file any more than necessary. I'm the set it and forget it type. Any ideas? -

I've only done this TF a few times (less than half a dozen) and I must admit, I still don't know how the rest of the team takes him down. Usually, the team is in full disarray during first the few minutes because half the team is getting killed constantly. So there's only the other half of the team working on him at any moment in time. But suddenly, usually while I'm schlepping back from the in-mission hospital, Primal Duray's health suddenly drops fast. I really don't know what they're doing to make this happen that they weren't doing for the last 15 minutes before.

If you're don't mind settling for a refurbished computer, you may consider keeping an eye out on http://www.woot.com/ .
NOTE: Woot!'s gimmick is that they only sell 1 (one) item a day accompanied with a pretty funny (usually) write up. Sometimes the item is new, sometimes it's refurbished. Maybe once a month, they might clear out their warehouse and spend the day selling off a series of limited quantity items. Woot! was bought by Amazon last year, if that'll give it better rep in your eyes. Anyway, their stuff usually is very cheap.
Today (06/11) they actually had a refurbished HP desktop on sale. There's only 1.25 hours left today, so I won't go into detail about it. Anyway, my point is, that you could take the opportunity if/when it comes up again on Woot! to score a cheap, fairly recent, mainstream-level computer. I haven't seen any gaming-level computers ever. However, it'll generally have modern components (I assume you know enough about computers to skip the older stuff when those appear) and the only extra things you might need to buy to upgrade it to gaming quality is a better power supply and graphics card.
Edit: just so you know, I have bought 2 refurbished computers from Woot! last year. One was a HP desktop for sis. So far, no complaints from her, but then again, she's not particularly techie. The second was an all-in-one Gateway computer for mom. She only uses it to play simple games and streaming videos. Again, no problems so far. As for myself, I recently bought a new system (mostly to play COH) from Cyberpower PC. -
Thank you for being my friend. I will call you George. And will hug you and pet you and ...

Well, I'm not EU, but I do have a couple of characters in Defiant now. So I'll let someone have the opportunity to be the first to add themselves to my friends list.

I don't recall if when I did it Pocket D existed. It might have just been the Paragon Dance Party then. Still, I was purposely avoiding cheap tricks with short cuts.
In addition, I thought the point of the exercise was to go from Atlas to Portal Corp without dying as a show of your experience with the game's zone layout and access ramps, along with aggro awareness. -
Quote:When I tried the lowbie run just for kicks during a slow period on a weekend morning, the path I choose was:Hmm, if my memory is correct - its been a while - my preferred path that I settled on back then was Atlas to train, train to Skyway, Skyway to the Talos gate, Talos gate to the PI ferry, get sniped in PI, exit PI hospital, swim north, swim north east, head southeast to the west portal building, and down into the courtyard (the race usually ended in portal court).
I don't remember a path that involved getting killed in Steel, although there were multiple ways to get there.
- take the Atlas tram to Steel Canyon (south)
- run through Steel to the IP gate on the west wall
- run up the block in IP to the tram and take it to Talos
- run through Talos to the PI Ferry
(This was where I fumbled. I had been flying for so long that I had forgotten the pedestrian path to the docks, ie without resorting to jumping off a cliff. While I was pondering it, a Freak threw a circular saw blade at my back.) -
*notice of post count increment.

I vaguely recall reading of this being a feature of either Mids and/or Sucker Punch's build planners. However, I don't pre-plan my builds, ie I don't use either, so I don't know for sure.

Yes. Sell and re-buy your power generator. This has been an ongoing bug on one of my Bases for years now.

Quote:Maybe it's because of where I live, but I've always wondered, if such a thing happened and you try to buy something with a fist full of gold, won't you just get mugged? If not immediately, then eventually. After all, you're probably the only one smart enough to have useable currency around in your neighborhood and someone will take notice that you're the only one who can buy food.Precious metals is in a huge bubble right now thanks to nutwing apocalypse preachers (and I'm not talking about the May 21 guy). They think that if the world economy collapses, you can use precious metals as tender. Like if you bring in an ounce of gold to the WalMart, they'll not only accept it but they'll make change with it... with you know... those billion pieces of precious metal coinage that doesn't exist for such exchanges to actually take place.
