Cutscenes don't work like that. While the cutscene plays the server pauses the combat. No one, player or NPC, can take any actions while the cutscene plays. The server even freezes the recharge timers.

Currently Praetorians unlock no EATs of any kind when they hit 20. A message still pops up that you've unlocked an Epic Archetype anyway. The message is incorrect.

i'm still hoping for a Praetorian EAT to be added at some point. Preferably with a plant theme for obvious reasons.

IIRC direct current does have the advantage of generally causing muscles to lock up when it runs through them. Alternating current will usually cause spasming of the muscles which may result in losing contact with the current source. With direct current you have a better chance of getting the recipient thoroughly cooked before the circuit is broken. Maybe more expensive, but direct current definitely has the safety edge here. Or was that tasty edge? Eh, either way...

Yup, direct current is definitely the safer way to go, efficiency aside. Such a pity that the "interestingly bad" alternating current caught on anyway.

i've mostly been playing lowbie alts since a couple weeks before i20 went live. This past week i actually started running a few of the iTrials with two of my Incarnates. Well, only one really, the other one has only done two BAF runs. So far i've unlocked 2 slots on the active Incarnate and slotted both with tier 2 boosts. It's mostly been PuGs and whims for me even though a bunch of friends in game have been avidly running trials every evening. i've got four lowbies that i've been more focused on, so the new trials haven't been a priority.

If you're avoiding anything to do with the Incarnate system/end game with such revulsion in my opinion it's more to do with your own prejudices than anything that actually exists in the game. i certainly have not been compelled to endlessly run trials. Hell, i haven't even bothered with most of the WTF the last couple of weeks on my incarnates since they all have at least one tier 3. Although some of my lowbies have gotten nice bonuses from them.

The only thing i plan to make a priority in the next week or so is running the new SF. i've already done the new TF a couple times and enjoyed it.

Boycotting the new trials just because you didn't like raids in some other game from years ago is a little... uh... inflexible and prejudicial. But that's just my opinion.

Mind you, overlooking anything that doesn't fit a predetermined opinion and seizing on the slimmest scraps that support it is a very common tendency in all people. Look at G2099... Okay, that's one of the more absurdly extreme examples, but it's a common tendency for everyone.

However, by the time the US was getting around to collecting the last bits of continent to add to the country Canada had already gone and gotten themselves a flag, which by tradition meant the US had to accept that Canada was a country and try to buy it from the current owners. That's more to do with affiliation and allegiance than morality.
To me morality is defined at least as much by the actions you take as it is by what they are supporting.

That reminds me, it's been a while since i went hunting in the Storm Palace.

Well, they have to identify the code that is causing problem, fix the code, submit the fixed code for internal testing, and then apply the fix to the live servers. This can take a while. Especially since the Devs obviously thought the new WTFs would work properly just like the previous ones did. Since they didn't there must be something unexpected that cropped up, so it's unlikely that they instantly knew what needs to be fixed.

i'm pretty sure that if it was just a missing comma or something that they would've just implemented a hotfix and carried on as normal. i expect that this announcement means that the programmers are combing through the code trying to figure out why it isn't working properly, or possibly they've already found the issue and are trying to figure out a solution to get it to work.

Either that or they're refusing to fix it just to spite us.

(i find that last one extremely unlikely.)

Personally i got a bit tired of the assorted Incarnate runs and have been playing lowbies most of the time for the last couple weeks.

Personally i don't care if i have every power. Only one of my Incarnates bothered with the Tier 4 Alpha. The rest get enough use out of the Tier 3.

i have to admit that i'm not familiar with Zod outside of the movies. While i've occasionally picked up a Superman comic i've never been a regular reader. Is Zod a significant character outside of the movies?
