I was in galaxy city hall a few weeks ago on my lvl 50 hero on freedom after a respec and one of the players there was demonstrating their costume/poses and a temp power I had never seen before. It was a neat looking gun possibly the orestes rifle(I honestly don't remember) but somehow and I honestly don't know how but I was able to pull up a window with details of said weapon just like if "I" had the power right clicked it and went to info; I definitely did not have the power. I asked the player how it was that I could see details about the power as if it were mine but he had no idea. Does anyone have any ideas? I wish I took a screen shot

If the player dragged and dropped the power into chat, it would create a hyperlink you can click on to view the details of the power.

This works if you type the name of the power in as well. For instance, typing in [Power:Judgement.Ion Radial Judgement] or [Mastermind_Buff.Force Field.Force Bubble] will enable you to see those two powers as well.

If I had to hazard a guess, it was the Dimensional Grounding Ray from the Khan TF.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Nullifier Gun from villain contact?

Void Hunter Rifle

Rikti Rifle

Arachnos Shotgun

Ghostslayer Rifle

Dimensional Grounding Ray

Don't have pics for:
Thermite Cannon
Nullifier Gun
Orestes Rifle

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

One way is the Abandoned Sewer Trial in Atlas Park.
Well, technically those are the Thermite Cannon and Particle Cannon, but they use Rikti gun models.

I think you get the rikti rifle from a mission given by the Ambassador rikti guy in Grandville.

I have - he gives you some rikti drones (three I think) as well as a rifle with a number of charges.

It can be fun to pull out the rifle.

How did you get the void gun?

Psimon Omega's arc in Nerva gives it. I love pulling it out next to Khelds. Usually gets a reaction

Thermite canon's model is different from any Rikti weapon I've seen.

Yeah, they look like similar technology but the models are distinctly different from other rikti weapons.

Gonna have to Oro that arc then for both the rifle and the droes.

Say does anyone know if you can still use oroborous to access missions from your old allegiance?

If I remember it right, Heroes and Vigilantes go to blueside Oro; Rogues and Villains go to Red.

I was running missions redside while Vigilante (scrapper), and wound up on blueside Oro when the team used Oro to go from one mish to another.

Edit:

That was having gone hero to vig; I have no clue if what direction you're going affects what Oro you get in the "gray" alignments.

Rogues and villains go to the red Ozone. Heroes and vig go to blue Ozone. No matter what.
If a villain goes blue they will no longer be able to access red Ozone and vice versa. Unless they go red again.

I think.

Yep. Pulling up the mission list in Blue Oroborous gives you access to all the blue side missions, regardless of which side you started on. Vice versa for red, of course.

Interesting, can grays do the opposite alignment Ozone SF/TFs? I'm thinking no but I just want to make sure.

They cannot.
