  1. It does seem to get worse and more frequent the higher you raise the challenge though. Run a -1/x4 mish and you get the odd 1 bot run into melee, up it to -1/x8 and it jumps to 2 bots running in occasionally. Raise it to +1 or higher, and you're looking at several pets running in and the goto command getting spammed more frequently - these have just been my observations when running RWZ missions.
  2. at fisrt glance:

ummm you really need all those pvp IOs?

Physical perfections waaaay overslotted - infact with WP you don't even need it imo - dumping in the numina + miracle uniques + performance shifter proc into your build will cover you

Fast healing would do better with Regenerative Tissue +regen unique and Numina Heal + Heal/Rech IOs in

Strength of Will only needs 1 IO slotted - it cannot be effected by any form of recharge either just fyi

  4. Master of One / Self badge if you can solo anyone of the TFs with 0 defeats?
  5. getting snagged on telephone/electric cables/other/leaves/debris/air when flying/jumping and stopping dead in your tracks
  6. B_C, do you primarily solo on this character or mainly team?

When you do team do you take the role of main tank or support?

If you do mainly team, and are main tank most of the time how successful are you in completing the missions/SF/TFs, and how often do you faceplant?

I only ask because, from the look of your build as a team setup, I feel you are not only hampering yourself but the rest of the team as well. IMO you are going to find it very difficult (if not impossible) taking on the last mission in an LRSF/STF and succeeding as main tank - and you can probably forget going for any of the "Master of" Badges (you did mention this character was your main badger).

just some food for thought there.

For soloing I tend to run +0/x1 (remember I said i tend to dislike farming) and am running these things for merits/badges/tips/etc. But the buildout is just my main. If you do not feel I am running it the right way. Well, I believe you feel that way.
sounds to me like your conceptual build is equal to buying a Bugatti Veron to go to the shops for milk tbh.

If I was spending billions on a build I'd want to make sure the payback would be substantial, ie: being able to do some of the hardest AV/GMs solo, or running at the highest possible settings. This would also help towards offsetting the cost of the build.

But hey its your toon and your concept, I just don't see how that justifies complaining about IO costs, thats like complaining to the Bugatti dealer that his Veron is too expensive for said shopping trip.
  11. Not sure if anyone else has had this happen, but I've had the few occasions where my pets have been hit with a DoT and one of them (doesn't matter which tier) will suddenly run off like a madman with his hair on fire, usually into parts of the mission map that haven't been cleared of mobs, aggroing everything in its path, and no matter what command you spam it won't react
  12. - When base building, the game assumes you've double clicked (probably due to lag) and jumps your character to the ground position, just when you are trying to adjust a vital piece in your elaborate creation, and thus drags the piece away from its position and completely ruins your perfectly set up camera angle

    - Rage crashing just as you jump into a vast group of mobs

    - Hitting for next to no damage during rage crash, then immediately its back up and you can do damage, you miss.... TWICE!

    - Accuracy during the early levels (pre 25ish) - City of Failing Eyesight?

    - the word "Miss"
  13. I'm not so sure about the same AI for all, at least not when it comes to Rikti Chief Mesmerists - I've stood in the last cave of a Borea mission (after its completed) with 2 or 3 of these mobs standing at a distance firing off their range attacks (was farming mezz badges at the time), and none of them run up to hit me with their huge swords.

Only when I run into close proximity do they switch to their sword, if I run out of melee range they don't chase me but resort back to their ranged attacks - Can my pets have their AI please?
  14. At first glance it looks like you building for regen, but then I noticed RttC is under slotted for regen.

I would primarily go for softcapped typed defences to reduce the number of times you get hit, then the use the regen to fall back on for when you do get hit.

You haven't taken Blinding Feint which is a nice +tohit and +dmg boost.

6th slot of hetacomb imo is a waste.

Indomitable Will is overslotted, as is Strength of Will - this really only needs 1 resist IO.

Not sure if hasten is actually worth it on this type of tanker as it is possible to get a decent amount of global recharge without it

I'm not sure about the Epic choice + slotting either. I've found that APPs on WP/ tank builds aren't really that useful personally.

here is my build for reference:

    Power Combos

Bots/Dark - Only MM I've made on live servers and is just a damage sponge. When the pets behave its so much fun, when they don't I ignore playing him. This was also my 1st toon when I started playing back in Dec 2005. He's usually my purp/inf farmer and GM hunter, oh and badger.

Demons/Therm - ran this on the test servers for a bit and it was quite a fun, but I didn't find it as enjoyable as my bot/dark tbh

My only issue with it all is: why give us an accuracy focus when folks slot accuracy naturally already. There aren't many IO sets that neglect accuracy and a great many IO set bonuses that give accuracy along side other bonuses that we wany anyways. I fear that Incarnate content will feature enemies that are neigh impossible to hit without choosing Accuracy for our Incarnate slot.
ah yeah, forgot that.... musclature it is then
  19. hmm, it would either be Cardiac or Musclature I think for my Widow. The Cardiac would be nice for filling in the resistance hole Widows have and the endurance redux would be an added bonus, but the additional damage in Musclature would be very nice too.
  20. I rarely play my MM because of the AI melee bug, and when I do I end up switching to another character after about 5mins because I get so annoyed with it. He now just sits hero side collecting Day Job badges.

Pet damage IO sets give lousy bonuses, most so bad that no one bothers with them at all, leaving us to slot our pets with HO's and regular, non-set IO recipes. Do the devs feel that we are already so awesome we don't need IO bonuses? I've noticed that Dom/troller sets are garbage as well. Blasters and melee toons get all these fabulous sets that boost regen 12% and recharge rates 6.75%, and we get nothing even remotely as useful.

The proof of an IO set's value is how much people are willing to pay for it's components - Pet Damage IO sets are trash that no one wants. The salvage is more valuable.
Blood Mandate is a great defence bonus set - in fact if I'm not mistaken it's the ONLY set to have 3 defence bonuses in it (5% to AOE and 3.75% to F/C is massive) and then the recovery bonus to boot

The recharge intensive pet sets are pretty great too, with their recovery & recharge bonuses, and then some extra goodies added in.

My only issue with some of the sets is the vast number of mez protection bonuses where I think most of them are not really needed, and its a shame the purple set doesn't have an accuracy or recharge bonus - but then who 5 slots it anyway?

and on the pet side of it you have 2x 5% def and 2x 10% resist bonuses (if you can slot all 4 that is)
  22. sry that was my DP build which makes it completely irrelevant to this topic. Please ignore previous post.

    /end facepalm
  23. I gave up on the s/l defense idea with my DP/fire/fire and went hover blaster. Found it easier and cheaper to softcap ranged and N/E:
