Here is a build I came up with for an sg mate really quickly. Looking at your build from the forums it looks like you don't have enough + defense to soft cap but I could be wrong, I don't have access to Mid's right now so again I could be wrong.

Fire/Regeneration
1. The ability to heal back any assassin strike very quickly
2. Incinerate is great for breaking a stalker's hide
3. Brutes will hate you
Are three reasons for why I made mine, I haven't duo'd too many corruptors, dominators, or master minds but I have killed quite a few in quick skirmishes so I really can't tell ou how it would perform against those in a real one v.s. one fight. -

There is (1) the fierce passion type of toon, ala I have to play this toon everyday, (2) there is the comforting love of a chicken soup type of toon..ala I am not feeling well today, I think I will play so and so because I knew he will perform great.
There are more examples but I am in sort of a rush. I saw this and squeeled to a stop.
Relax, and don't feel bad if some of your "Fierce Passion" inspiring toons are now "Chicken Soup" type of toons. Fierce passion is not long lived, but Chicken Soup toons...they stay with you.
Sort of like real life relationships

Blasters... I used to be crazy about them, I have a Fire/Energy that I used to play all the time, but now he's just become a went worths character.

The one qualm that I have with energize is its recharge time, compared to Fire and Dark heal it is a pretty heafty recharge.

Did you ever fall in love with one of your scrappers then make a new one and then fall completely out of love with it? This is my case I LOVED my fire/regeneration, Wifry, he is bloody awesome but I rolled a dark/shield, Saint November, and it's been love ever since, he is simply amazing and just completely astounds me. Today I went back to playing my fire/regeneration and it was fun but just wasn't great... Two different play styles, two different animals, but it makes me sad
.

I wouldn't do it, I get slapped around like a kite during a KHTF when I had 1 knock back enhancement in my spines/dark.

I'd love to see a soccer field added where you can go and play soccer and kick a ball around.
I'd also like to see a save the baby/cat/help old lady cross the street events in zones lol. -

Question: Did you fight them as EBs or AVs? The EB versions are chumps, NONE of the AV versions are a pushover. -
The reason why I'd want Spines/Shield is because it offers a lot more survivability vs a spines/dark and almost as much extra fire power in terms of AoE due to Shield Charge. It would have been nice a long with this issue if these coding problems could have been worked on.

But see if it is purely aesthetics, it simply doesn't hold an arguement in a game where people are capable of bending space time yet they can't beat the crap out of someone with two swords and deflect bullets using a shield.

So why is it that these two cannot be pared with shields in game? I understand that you can't have two handed attacks with shields but is it some coding problem?

In order to look at these builds you'll need two things: St0n3y's edition of Mid's and you'll have to go to options>advanced>data base editor>main data base editor>scrapper_defense>shield_defense>edit>and then remove all of the mutual exclusive sets. That will allow you to make a db/sd, claws/sd, spines/sd, and kat/sd on mids.

You'd want the Achilles' Heel proc in something that recharges quickly in order to maximize it's usage. I don't think surveliance fits that bill.

Looks great! I changed the slotting in Dark Regeneration, you'll like the changes. Endurance cost went down from 18.8 points to 17.1 and recharge went from 17 seconds to 14.7 seconds. Not a huge difference but noticeable. Also I would really advise on saving up and buying the theft essense proc as expensive as it is it makes a work of difference when using it.
