Can you post up the data chunk? TitanNetwork is undergoing maintenance.

    Thanks, folks!
I'd look into positional defense for regeneration rather than typed
  3. I'm not crazy about PLing or racing to 50. There are some great story arcs in between 1 and 50 including all of Faultline, some in FF, and Brickstown. One of my favorites is the Revenant Hero Project, I wish they'd revamp that story and bring it up to date with some new features.

    Purple's

What annoys me about these threads refering to a "purple problem" is that everyone who ever makes these threads want instant gratification. They want enhancments the easy way, has it ever occured to anyone that because they're ultra rare you have to work hard to get them? You may not have time to farm constantly for an hour every day but you know what you can do? You can learn how to buy and sell at went worths to get closer to your goal of achieving those enhancements and if you choose to not use that system that has been put in place to make money then that is your choice but you forgo any right to complain about purples being to hard to obtain.

So I invite you to educate yourself about how to buy and sell at went worths and make influence there just like i and others have done because the developers will never lower or change anything refering to the drop rates or how you obtain them then their current avenues.

So stop complaining and learn how to make money
  5. Fire/SR is the cheapest way to solo AVs it requires very little recharge to achieve a good attack chain capable of 180+ dps.

As for soloing GMs you won't be able to do that by yourself. You won't be able to produce enough sustained DPS to over come their regeneration.

Because he's bill, he's the kind of guy who will stab you in the face and get mad because you got blood on his claws.

Edit: This thread is making me mad because I don't have my computer, stupid cpu died
  7. If you really want to go farming then your goal is to minimize how much you spend on your build and maximize how much you get out of it. Damage out put and recharge are what you really want for farming so I'd suggest going Fire/Fire for huge AoE and damage potential and then slotting for around 25% defense and then recharge.
  8. Can you either reload it as a Titanforum code or add the data chunk please?
  9. And where are my manners?! Welcome my scrapper bretheren! May you induce suffering and nashing of teeth to all those enemies you encounter.
  10. Looks like a very good build, the only suggestions I have is to slot at least two Membrane Exposures into Active Defense in order to increase your defense debuff resistance above all. They're expensive but are well worth the investment.

The comparative benefit of 5 more hp/sec when you're already recovering 100 hp/sec is paltry compared to the benefit you'd get from simply taking a what defense bonuses you can get and reducing your incoming damage by 20%.

Think of it this way: you've got 100 hp/sec damage recovery. You are given the option to either decrease your incoming damage by 10% (10% resistance or 5% defense) or increase your hp/sec by 10. The hp/sec option would allow you to survive 110 (100 + 10) hp/sec of incoming damage. The damage reduction option would allow you to survive 111.1 (100/.9) hp/sec of damage. The damage reduction option is actually better.

Now, the most important thing to realize from this is that, thanks to the IO set bonuses you've got available, it is a lot easier to get substantial damage reduction capabilities (in the form of +def set bonuses) than it is to get substantial damage recovery capabilities.

The first set bonuses you should aim for are +rech set bonuses. Once you've gotten as much of those as possible, you should get positional +def set bonuses, with more melee than ranged and more ranged than AoE. You can rather easily get ~20-30% defense to all three positions, which will amount to a 40-60% reduction in incoming damage which will do boatloads more than increasing your 60 hp/sec passive regen rate to 70 hp/sec.
But how do you really feel? lol

He explained that the cap for a Scrapper's defense is 75%, whereas a tank's is 90% or something, and that since my resistance to smashing/lethal ATM is only 20%, I'm still taking 80% of all the damage dished out to me.

But that's a bunch of wordiness, so I'll change the subject. Since we last spoke, I completed the Mako's Bite set and got the nice little chunk of resistance that goes with it.
I've also made about 8-9 million influence since then, I know this isn't much but to me it's a fortune. I'm trying to get the complete Numina's set as well, which would be sexy for regen.
My question is, what's a good set to slot out ripper/throw spines/quills/spine burst with? Currently my Mako's is in Lunge, which I don't use much as I tend to go for more AoE oriented attacks.

Another question is what's a good heal set to have in my passive regen abilities, since I started to slot out my ONE Numina enhancement into resilience. (Tell me if that's stupid.)

Thanks a bunch for your help so far, guys! Fire away!
That scrapper is retarded, tell him to go try the scrapper rwz challenge and see how his sheer regeneration build keeps him a live.

Defense coupled with regeneration is awesome why do you think Willpower is so good? It's mainly defense and passive regeneration.

You can look at the builds that are posted they offer great slotting for those powers.

I was trying to avoid the ToD/Gaussians b/c two or three out of those sets are well over 15 million each, which blows my imaginary "100 Mil. Influ" budget. Looks like I'll really need the ToD on Lunge to keep the Melee Def up.
Merits can help keep you in budget and rolling Bronze rolls in AE will also net you some delicious recipes that you can either use or sell to get those.

  20. This is as close to I could get you without making drastic changes. You're off by .6% in AoE and that bothers me lol
