Well heres my spine/elec build
hes currently lvl 44 and is awesome
can tank alot of things, but sometime get over my head and have to hit energize but still a great character

also, didnt know what to put into lightning field and quills

might be alittle expensive. for some players
but i already have almost all of the sets
just need two more resist: impervium

any opinions, anything really.

Actually when I get to finalized builds with Spines when I go Blaze Mastery I always end up getting rid of Impale because with all the +recharge it just seems useless when compared to Fire Blast. Unless I'm building for PvP I always find that I can fit in strictly better powers for what the character needs. For instance, you could take out Impale, Combat Jumping, and Melt Armor for Boxing/Kick, Tough, and then Weave. This, and a less recharge, more Melee Defense oriented build might just let you intelligently solo those "I think I'm worth 8 heroes" missions.

I find this build quite haphazard. Lots of redundant frankenslotting when slotting for set bonuses would be better and no specific focus (a bit of +recovery, a bit of +HP, a bit of +damage but nothing is emphasized). And btw, Lightning Field by itself is completely useless for sapping endurance.

I'd build this primarily for recharge because it increases both your damage output (attacks), endurance management (Power Sink and Energize) and survivability (Energize). After that, I'd get as much defense as possible, with a sprinkling of +HP where convenient. Like this:

The build is geared for melee defense, but you can also balance all positions (the numbers will be less than on one position though). Don't worry about endurance usage, your Power Sink will be available less than each 20 seconds and Energize will be almost perma (although I prefer to use it primarily as a heal, and treat the end redux as a nice sideeffect).
