I don't think there was a question as to if it was WAI, but whether that should be the intent.

I can't see a good enough reason for it being behind the shield, so /signed.

Uhm, been away for a while? They've redone Burn to no longer cause fear. It's also front loaded for damage now.

To the OP. Well, it's the wrong forums, but I'll just muddy the water some more by saying this:

My Elec/Fire brute has been a blast to play. Mostly exotic damage makes for some very deadly DPS. Mix in reactive and another exotic type from Judgment for extra grins.

Also, ask a mod to move this for you.

I'm guessing it has to overcome the stigma of X3. Perhaps too many people remember that atrocity to give this one a chance.

A teenager worried about the way he looks!? SHOCK!
Angel doesn't have enough exposition to justify her going evil
In the [maybe] 5 minutes of screen time we know Angel, is there enough to say she wouldn't "go evil?" There's really no build up for her character either way. If you can list enough reasons why you think she was leaning towards a human-mutant peaceful existence, then maybe that complaint can be taken seriously.

Finding a sub, flying in to rescue Havok... yeah, he totally door sat that mission.

Havoc is stupid to use... he's Scott's YOUNGER brother... why not use scott? Any reason you can use for Scott works better than it does for Havoc.
It is odd they would break away from the comic book continuity in this way. But then again, Havok's always been a second choice to Cyclops, so I don't think many people care about his character being 100% spot on. Besides, Scott's way too young in the other movies to be a teenager in the 60's. Maybe continuity isn't something you care about, but believe it or not, it is a factor in judging a story's quality.

Darwin... the one character that seems interesting of the lame cast of characters
His character screamed Red Shirt to me. I'd agree it's somewhat of a concern that the only black mutant to remain on the good team is killed before the real action starts. Then again, maybe it's because nerd fans would rage all over the internet if you changed an iconic character to black. *shrug*

Mystique... She wasn't really a character imo, she was a sounding board and a plot device...and the people that sounded off her all did so insultingly and out of character... She's a freakin woman that can look any way she wants. They could developed her so much better by having her react to people being d-bags about her appearance not being what they want.
Considering the first series she hardly spoke much, and didn't have much to her other than being Magneto's whipped companion, this character had MORE to offer. She also embodied the stronger differences between Magneto and Charles.

The only character they got right and the only scenes that were better than mediocre to crap were the Emma Frost scenes. Every other scene was just mediocre or bad...
The most dry acting in the whole movie is who you give the biggest props to? I don't remember the White Queen being completely emotionless. Lacking in compassion, yes. Not void of feeling anything. There was absolutely no difference between JJ's performance here and in Mad Men. Sure, they wrote her doing things Emma would do, but unless she's acting like Emma, it's pretty much a fail.

Overall, I thought the movie did a spectacular job. It certainly raised the bar from the last series. I'd see another if they made one.

I don't think anyone's ever been running the respec trials for merit farming. It's not even time efficient to do so.

Now, if you think the respec mission should always take 41 minutes, then I wouldn't object to doubling the spawns that show up, and halving the wait periods. But that's not really increasing the difficulty. The respec trials we're easy enough long before IOs rolled out, so cutting the spawn times wouldn't really destroy any chance for a respec for new players. As WW pointed out, the odds that they wouldn't have at least one veteran player helping them out are pretty low.

If you make another Respec Trial (hero side) the WST, how about reducing the spawn times in the Reactor Core?

The devs have been treating Alpha differently this whole time. I get the feeling that they like it as it is, an easy intro to Incarnate material. I don't see them making other slots as easy as it.

I'm not saying I agree with all of it, but it makes sense from that standpoint.

* Cold Domination (Defenders, Controllers, Corruptors): Ice Shield and Glacial Shield
* Force Field (Defenders, Controllers, Masterminds): Deflection Shield and Insulation Shield
* Kinetics (Defenders, Controllers, Corruptors): Increase Density and Speed Boost
* Sonic Resonance (Defenders, Controllers, Corruptors): Sonic Barrier and Sonic Haven
* Thermal Radiation (Controllers, Corruptors, Masterminds): Fire Shield and Plasma Shield
I see a slew of complaints coming out in 20.5.
14. I'd like to thank the devs for creating a very viable solution. One that I remember someone in this thread suggesting, rewarding open leagues while allowing closed ones.

I'll consider offers from 3 billion and up, and accept purple sets (hecatomb preferred) as part of the deal.
You explained yourself better to me when you told me about this:

Cyan has 35 A-Merits, and he's offering up to 5 MERIT PURCHASES with them.

Different combos include (but are not limited to):

1 PVP IO purchase (30), 1 LotG Proc (2), 1 LotG Proc (2) and a Random Roll (1) = 35 merits spent on 4 Purchases

1 PVP IO purhcase (30), 1 LotG Proc (2), Random Roll (1), Random Roll (1) and a Random Roll (1) = 35 merits spent on 5 Purchases

Considering the starting bid is 3 billion, it's not a bad deal compared to forum trades and market values.

[edit] Oh, and I can vouch for Cyan as a trustworthy in-game trader. He's also an RO member and I'm sure plenty of them would vouch for him too.

Maybe in the beginning it did that, but it had good momentum in the second half of the season. With the amount of story behind that plot and the fact that this was the first season, a slower storyline is justified.

I haven't watched the finale yet, but I'll be doing so tonight. I know it's canceled, but it was a good story and the show had a good dedication to answering questions at a decent pace, while setting up good mysteries for the next season (had there been one). SyFy would do well to pick the show up. You know... so it could rebuild its credibility as a sci-fi channel.

No on V. It's writing became horrible in the second season.

I chuckled when the OP made the suggestion (because of how often its been shot down before), but I the Bladerunner reference took the cake.
19. Maybe this has been suggested before (I'm sure it has, but didn't find anything), but with the onset of the Steampunk Pack, the timing seems good for a TV chest emblem. Something like the Rerto Monitors in the base builder would go well with the steampunk look. And for those not into the steampunk look, maybe a more modern option.

No flashy lights or animation are needed on the screen (unless the devs feel like doing so ) just a screen that can be colored.

Pretty please?!

If this is what Sister Psyche says, then it definitely falls under Natural or Mutation. Either their genetics naturally result in Psychic ability (like genetics allows you to be born with 2 eyes), or a mutation in their genes gave them this ability. So quoting her is quoting a flawed reasoning. There's not a thing itself called "Psychic" that granted these abilities to them.

My wife and I were talking about this earlier this Spring. We both watch Modern Family and Cougar Town religiously. The fall season seemed to be very consistent, with hardly any breaks at all. Then in January, the schedule went from 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 1 week on, 3 weeks off, to πr^2 on. We would have preferred they shows took a longer mid-break than do something like that.

Cougar Town seemed to lose all its fall season momentum, and has only been hit or miss. Kind of disappointing since the fall shows were a huge step up from the previous season.

I wish they'd give The Event 1 last season to wrap up. Things were starting to get good.

It's not the influence that bothers me. 2.5 million influence to a level fifty? In the time you earn up 10 shards, you've covered the cost to convert them. No, what bothers me is you have to wait for 10 drops before you can even make any threads of them. When all I need is 2 more threads to craft a common, I'd rather run through a trial again before running normal content to get 10 shards. People are going to run the trials, we don't need the extra incentive.

At least make some other conversion options: 3 to 3 for 1.25 million. 5 to 5 for 1.75 million. This way, when you run a WST and get Notice you have no use for, you can at least make it into threads right away. And at the suggested prices, 10 to 10 is still the better deal for those willing to be patient.
24. The only change I could see being reasonable, is changing Astral Merits to orange.
