  1. Set we never see, do you mean sets in the 20s and 30s actually being leveled or 50s. I have an Ice/EM blaster, made/leveled it issue 3, don't play it much since EM got fixed, but I can't remember seeing another 50 or one being leveled. Same with Ice/Fire tank in issue 7, can't remember the last time I saw an Ice tank. Fortunatas littered the landscape for a while, my widow was so lonely, now don't see the Forts anymore, couple more widows, don't see them being leveled thou. Warshades are busy characters and are so much easier to level solo.
    Another slant on this questions, sets we don't see played well anymore. Kinetic defenders for me. They play so much different than controller/corruptor. So many seem to think, use speed boost and there done. It just drives me nuts.
  2. Thought I had the only WP/MA tank. Like mine, good defense, very survivable, just the MA set is such a huge disappointment, it just does not hit anything. Eagles Claw is the worst. Initially I thought difficulty level was to high, so I ran a bunch of tip missions at +0, nope, EC is crap, only hits maybe 2/3 of the time.
    Anyway you all can tell me what I've done wrong.

  3. Anyway, about those Hami-0 changes, has anybody tested them on beta yet? In particularly ecplise.
  4. As a RWZ supporter for i-trials, I find it a huge convenience being able to quit a i-trial league and join any of the other TFs or ship raid. I often log a character I intend to take on a ship raid early, do a TFs or trial(s), then go directly to the raid. On servers with a large population, Tin Mage/Apex TFs are seldom posted in the global channels, since they can easily post local, fill the team and start in a minute or less, and its all because the people are already there. At the other end of this, is it rude that DFBs are formed in Atlas instead of KR?
  5. I have not tried any Hami-O enhancements, since mine is only level 36, but doubt they would work, since the power does not even stack.

    Thanks for the info. That frees up a slot, and, since I have plenty of Nucleolus Exposure enhancements in the base bin, I see another respec if the offing.
  7. I'm guess I'm living in a cave, was unaware of the Hami trick. My MIDS allows the slotting of the Nucleolus Exposure, but does not show any resistance gain from them, so what/how much of an enhancement does it provide?

    Twice on the last run, got caught in the Obliteration Beam, no green on the ground, and menu said 19 seconds until next firing. Think this happened on others runs, but, did not check the timing. Also, got caught in the first run, and, I know I was not in the circle.

    Got the Bunker Buster for today's effort, thanks all that came out.

  16. I've "bugged" it several times. In fact, I first started having this problem when issue 17 was on beta, bugged it then, bugged it when issue 17 was on test, and have bugged it on every issue since. The response is always the same post it on the forums. Here I am, since before the Keyes trial it was only annoying. Not sure if it is rooting when using hover, since I almost never use hover, my fly speed it hover is to slow. It will root when moving, stops me, heal aura goes off, resumes movement. It does not make any difference if I use some other power between uses of heal aura. Outside of mission, I've used heal aura 10 times in a row, it will root at least half of the time.

    Not sure, either issue 7 or 8 there was a game patch for this, radiant aura from rad, warmth from thermal. Originally, warmth was supposed to root.
  17. With my Emp defender, keep getting rooted when using heal aura and fly, not every time, but consistently happens, maybe half the time. This is really annoying on the Keyes trial, since I have trouble staying with the group I'm supposed to be healing.

    Anybody got any ideas?

  18. working with the idea a warshade never has to much recharge, I tried to get as much as I could without purples. I have terrible luck getting them. Also, I still have not decided on a final build, if that is even possible, I think you just come up with one that plays like the way you want to play it. With that in mind, there a couple of things I still have not made up my mind on. Stygian Circle probably has at least 1 to many slots in it. Could move that to Quasar and get another recharge bonus. Every time I think about doing that, I wind up doing a bunch of lower level TFs and it gets a real work out, then I start thinking I like the way its slotted. Dwarf Drain is the biggest issue, I just can't make up my mind on what I really want it to do, a heal or an attack, currently its a heal. If I want to keep it as a heal, I will probably change it to, A/E/H, A/E/R IOs from 'theft of essence' , 'touch of the nictus' sets and 2 from a heal set, great bonuses there. That's what I did with my DA tank. Then I wind on a high damage team, and, my dwarf is the only melee character on the team, and we need a meat shield. No problem for a dwarf, especially if has even a couple of targets boosting the resist from eclipse. The medicine pool was, why not? Nothing else came to mind that I might get any use out of. Maybe somebody has an idea. Some of the slotting still reflects that my thinking still has not completely caught up with inherent fitness pool. Used to be my dwarf had endurance problems, even the nova could see problems on longer fights. So the end mod in the dwarf will probably get moved, and maybe some changes to stamina slotting also.
  19. For the Nova, I slotted a single fly IO, doing that you could move the 2 extra slots, 1 into detonation for another recharge bonus. Health, again, went with the base slot, moving the extras to nova bolt, would give you 5 slots and could put decimation set there. Mine is mostly a nova/dwarf, the human is just there for the buffs and pet. What the heck, posted mine.

    As was noted as far back as issue 2, as best as I can remember, keeping SB and ID on a full team would use %54 of your time, nothing has changed in kinetics except the buff/debuff scaling difference for defenders and controllers/corruptors. Ok, there have been some minor adjustments. I cannot wait for this to go live.

    Is there a copy tool for the beta servers?

  25. Sorry to hear it Pops. Thanks for the time, effort and hassle.
    As mentioned all the new shinnies are having a big affect. A specific case, I used to do 3 to 5 raids, Saturday afternoons on Virtue. Issue 20 goes live, zip. I have not seen more that 2 people in the hive since.
    A big chunk of the lag is caused be the league interface. Sorry to quote mention another server. On Guardian, they quit using the league interface, huge improvement, even with some incarnate pets still used.
