  2. For some reason, Paragon's web team doesn't/can't hide that. It does not work - it was not given any permissions to upload to their server.

So for any and all pics, sig or otherwise, upload to some webspace (Imageshack is popular) and link to it by placing the URL for it inbetween [IMG] [/IMG] tags.
  3. THe fun thing was is I was putting together an ITF when this came up - I was thinking "oh no!" at first.

The chipmunk scene from the commercials was the best part. And even that ended up sucking when you see how long it went on.

Used to be manual, and the normal "free" (GM) version still is. THe Bought/server transfer version is automated, however.
  7. However, it does have a nasty self-debuff on proc :

Although to be honest, I'm not sure if those two DO go together, of if the MT was in itself a MT.

I'd call the Flaming Bag of Poo (now public domain) vandalism and attempted arson.

It'd be nice if it could be exchanged for a Rename token, but as it is, I'll probably end up using two of these to rename characters every so often.

First of all, www.paragonwiki.com is always a good place to check (in this case, www.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Reward Token)

Every 1200 points purchased earns a reward token. However, your first purchase ever also earns a token, so you can nab a token for $5 if you haven't bought any before.
  11. The only place involving your account that will mention it is in the Paragon Rewards screen - the meter to the right will mention when you've unlocked the Tier 8 bonus, which includes "+150 Paragon Points a month" for VIPs.

    F2P Problem

And this isn't unique to free players, it just how the game was rebuilt to accelerate getting in game and will affect all new installs.
  13. To be fair, it was never in anything marketing stamped - the upfront tokens bit was all from the Ustream chats and the like.

You also could try creating a new character and see if Street is available for use. I heard it is, but didn't think to check that when I was on last night.
  15. You will get 550 once you have 34 (or more) tokens earned.

  17. Alternate Animations for shield are made to look as much as possible as their non-shield originals. So there isn't, usually, much difference to see.

    This.

Melee tends to get outright KB protection for the few cases of unresistible Knock-back in the game.

Note all three KB protection IOs are simple global IOs, and non-unique. You can go all three Karma if you want, for example.

True, but they don't have any inherent defense debuffs - so you can buff their defense and they live (longer).

  20. THey are referring to, I think, the fact that most people don't know you don't need to enter the queue in a team. That if you just enter it solo, it can form a team for you.

    Cheap renames?

If you want to change an SG name, and are the SuperLeader, ask. Seriously. Just send in a petition, and ask.

So I purchased 400 Paragon Points for $5 and lo and behold was awarded a free Reward Token.

This can only be done once. But you can also get a Reward Token if you purchase 1200 Paragon Points - I haven't tried this yet, and probably wont.
As I said, I was just referring to the VIP "allotments" not the as-you-buy-points.

and going back to edit in what I recall hearing about transfer tokens.
  24. From what I am understanding :

Paragon Points : AkA the little buggers for the Paragon Market
    • Points are to be awarded one month at a time, even for multi-month subs, on your "monthly" bill date
    • THose who have a bill date from the 1st to the 10th will get theirs on the 11th
    • Those who have their points delayed as above will have the award date move closer to their bill date over the nexxt few months until they are awarded on their bill date

Rewards Tokens : The big buggers for the Rewards Shrub
    • Awarded for 1 month of VIP sub, and every 12th month subbed after that (and buying Points)
    • THe token for a bill date will be awarded not then, but before the next bill date (Billed Oct 10? Token will award Nov 9)
    • THe original plan was to have all tokens for a sub award up front, but technical difficulties stopped that.

Transfer Tokens : The things that Move People
    • They are accured by having an active sub on the first of the month

Questions for Z or other Red-type
    • Points - The "resync" should be done by Feb. based off other player's interactions with support - is this right?
    • Tokens - Is it still the plan to chnage the sytem to reward all tokens for a sub on the first day of subscription vs. one per month the day before the next montly bill date?
    • Badges - The yearly badges - Will new badges be awarded based on pre-freedom "Played" time + Post- freedom subbed time, or just paid sub stime?
    • Is the bonus yearly token tied to the yearly anniversary badge?
