I have two characters with the same name on two servers. One old and one new.
I want to transfer the new one to the old ones server.
So I have to delete the old one before I transfer the new one...so that I can use that name.
However, I'm worried about that window after I delete the old one and before I transfer the new one.
it shouldnt take that long, when i21 came out i deleted a toon then near instantly remade them with the same name
if you really are worried about it, delete, log in with diff toon, run 1 mish, then do the transfer

I was able to delete and transfer characters with the same name no problem earlier.

My concern lies with the fact that someone can potentially create a character with that name during the "window".
Anyways...not much else I can do but risk it without a rename token.
That's the risk we all run. Just try to be quick.
Actually, if you transfer a character to a server that has a character with that name on it already, you should get a free rename token.

It's not the names (either of them) that I'm worried about. I'm creative. It's the part where I can't self-invite/promote myself with the SG, which I would lose if I went the server xfer route.
