The titan server got hacked, and as I recall the exploit was traced to faces, which was running some of the oldest code on the server as I recall. So it's the last bit to go back up and this is Tony's hobby, not job.

WHen you drop down to free play, you will have 2 slots, + 1 per year of (VIP, now)) play as a veteran reward, +2 if you bought Going Rogue Complete Collection and applied it to your account prior to Freedom, and + whatever slots you have bought.
Myself, I have 11+ what I have bought as a seven year vet. -
If you have global chat access, the global channels are a great way to find a team - on Virtue for example there is "Virtue LFG Beta". As I recall premiums get permanent access with Tier 3 of the rewards system - 5 tokens.
In the forum in each server's specific forum there are a list of global chat channels. -
Once a global slot has been unlocked on a server, it is apparently locked to that server. While going VIP then dropping down will "unlock" that slot's placement, it is still server-only.

The box token and the points bonus tokens are seperate. At least, if the box code was applied pre-freedom, anyway.
OP - when you log in and openthe "Paragon Rewards" window - how many tokens earned does it list? -

Seriously? If you get a chance to double check with him that would be cool. Seems off to me just because pretty much every else it seems healing is just another form of damage. Spectral wounds does a similar thing already.

While a new mechanic, somewhat, the HoT was not new tech. It's just a DoT but backwards.
Not sure how much it took to add the accelerated/delayed states, but the essence of that mechanic/tech is the same as containment. -
Based on how siege, antimatter, and the other praetorian AVs did not all count in the trials originally and were purposely changed to count the intent is pretty clear. Like I said, it's an oversight.

I'm fairly certain they just arbitrarily picked a few powersets to be 'pay for' and others to be free to VIPs based upon their profit projections and what they thought would entice players to 'remain VIP', and Melee powersets just got that end of the stick.

It's because the Mother in the Trial is not the same Mother in the arcs mechanically. It is most likely a simple case of forgetting to have a flag added to the MoM Mother to have her count the same as Arc Mother.

You want something to complain about MM wise, however, then there is a mission for you out there. It has Knives of Artemis on an Arachnos lab map with that room. . Nothing like that room and caltrops with pets. -

However, as far as self-stacking goes, they neither stack nor extend duration. When they trigger, they give the target a temp power that debuffs itself, and doesn't stack from the same caster (caster being the target, not the attacker). Like Momentum, each debuff has to wear off before it can be reapplied (the same applies to Bruising, as far as I know, but the three different debuffs don't block each other, just themselves). If the proc fires on an enemy already affected by that proc, nothing happens at all. -

From the sounds of it Dark Assualt and Dark Affinity will probably be free across the board. -

I think you're referring to the forum logout bug.
It's not going to be fixed anytime soon. The devs confirmed for us that it's not anything they did, it's a bug in the forum software itself, which they did not code.
The forums the website uses are VBulletin, so if you know of any solutions to a VBulletin bug, I urge you to PM one of the devs with it.
The randomly logged out (even when just logging in) is a load-share issue with the servers. This is the one that, as far as I can tell, is totally on the software.
Then there are the duration issues/funky cookies - most of this is based on how the settings are set to remember.
The third that affects some people is the webteams' insistence that the forum invalidate a cookie/login if the IP is different from the last time you "spoke" to the forums. This gets annoying to those of us on any sort of mobile Internet access like a smartphone or netbook where you can change Ip addresses frequently. As far as I've heard this is basically security for the sake of security - anyone hear of any issues that this would solve? -

Uber - the bork of the digests seems to be the cause of the RSS bork.
Anyway - Firefox, Chrome, and mobile Safari - bork in both skins. -
the checksum is part of the validation system - the files when analyzed a certain way return a value - the checksum file stores the system's check of the files. You delete it to force a recheck/reverfy with the server. And then the system recreates the file. It always will.

The NCSoft Billing system only recognizes "Free" and "Subbed/VIP"
So premium accounts show as free. -

Not unless you are slotting it with 2 Rectified Reticles for the Smashing/Lethal defense. Invince only gives 2% to hit per mob around you. So enhancing it to the ED cap will only make it 3%. Not worth the slots unles, again you are slotting for bonuses. If you are slotting Rectified Reticle, slot the To Hit one and the proc (Invuln doesn't have any +Percep powers, so it would be a nice thing to have, keeping [Smoke Bomb]s from making you lose all targets for a few seconds.)

This is incorrect. When you change from Vigilante/Rogue to Hero/Villain, you gain the countdown and eventually the morality power. But you will not be able to get hero/villain merits from SSA until you reconfirm your Hero/Villain alignment as of the 2011-10-19 patch.
