Quote:They haven't given out the traditional buddy keys in a long time - they've just trial keys.40bucks it a little steep for an expansions with only 1-20 content so if possible I would like to see more of the game and try out some characters beyond level 14, I would greatly appreciate this, and I do have an old account from long ago would I have to make a new account or can I use my old one?
Yes, you can try reactivating your old account - it is still good.
On "Cyber Monday" Best buy has a good deal on the Complete Edition ($10).The CE also comes with a month's sub and the $7 costume pack which those who bought the "Expansion only" didn't get.
Even if you buy it after the sale at the full price of $40 what you pay is more along the lines of $18-$25. -
You two are more late than the white Rabbit. My error has already been pointed out, my not-really-an-apology given!

Quote:And both are sets of all Unique (only one slottable per BUILD) IOs.Pvp sets are usually called "Gladiator's ____" or "____ of the gladiator", and are all orange (very rare) and have a chance to drop from PVP kills that (that count towards rep). They give additional set bonuses while in PvP.
Purples are ultra rares, others have mentioned their drop mechanics. They offer superior enhancement numbers, procs generally have a better chance to fire, and do more damage when they do. The set bonuses often have better numbers, but slotting enough of a set to get the desirable bonuses often requires a significant investment. -
Quote:Think the belt plays into it - the dumpy-ness would probably lessen if it was a tad higher.I dunno, something about their legs just seems off. Liberty in particular. She seems kinda dumpy for some reason? Either her arms seem too long, or her legs are too short. They look a little like their top and bottom halves are on seperate scales from one another.
Again, I couldn't tell without actually looking at the rig though.
And her knees seem too low. -

Quote:Chaz Dean's secretary just called - your appointment with him was moved to 2:30 tomorrow...Well I should clarify that I have most of the settings at medium. It's the character settings that are all redlined. If I'm going to fight crime, I have to look good doing it.

And how did you get my phone number to give to them? I"M NOT YOUR PERSONAL ASSISTANT! -
One difference that might cause them to make a Code pack even for a smaller market than the other boosters is - Most of the real work is done. They'd just have to set it up in the store.

They are merely indicators of when you will again get a) tips, and b) progress towards a morality mission again.
The fame points disappearing never reverse/remove progress. -

Quote:Fixed.Well, the MM version used to debuff the caster's jump speed, too. I don't recall when it was changed, but it was the only version of Shadow Fall that STILL did.
Shadowfall for everyone used to debuff caster's run speed.
Well, each power is it's own copy - sounds like a change that just didn't get propagated properly. -
Note - random rolls always give you a recipe at your level, or the set's max level, whichever is lower. The slider merely sets the possible drops.
LotG: Global Recharge is a "Global" IO - as such it functions as a set bonus - and ceases to function at it's level -4 and below (important if you ever exemplar).
Choosing/not random rolling lets you set the slider to the desired level and have the recipe BE that level. -
Quote:To be able to earn incarnate shards, you must have the slot. To get the slot, you must run Ramiel's arc.Would be kinda nice to see a partial update that would allow us to go ahead and earn shards so we can save them up and use them on launch day.
It would take more time to split that off, test it, and patch it to live than this bug will most likely delay the patch.
You are telling the devs to release a faulty product - a thing not done by those holding themselves to a high standard. Thus, you are making yourself sound like your description of the Enron execs. -
-
Not only that - I don't think that was an intentional thing to begin with.

Quote:I tend to get the newsletter, but yeah, the digests (and the SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM of the community reps setting all the threads up) are how I know.Usually, the way I know that I'm in a closed Betas is by checking the Dev Digest. The e-mails seem to be very spotty.
And I don't get the NCSoft newsletter.
Speculation - GG's source mistook "announcement" to mean "invite" in the "beta announcements" mentioned on that newsletter check box when it simply means "announcement". -
Quote:I feel no regret for forgetting Beef Cake and Golden Ace, but sorry Arcanaville and TA!The Seven Legendary Forumites are
Dark Respite (for her Videos and brownies), Steel Claw (for the lists), Zombie Man(for the guides), Arcanaville (The Muse of Mathematics),Thor's Assassin(for the STEALING of Arts), Golden_Ace (for the games), Beef_Cake ( for badge-hunter)
And fixes in bold above.
And many owe much to Beef Cake for Badge Hunter, so he's secure, but Snow Globe? Golden Ace's spot isn't so secure.
You may challenge for it via KULINARY KOMBAT! -
Quote:Well, it did used to be.Um... it is?
Ouroboros. 1-15. Last mission in the list. "Rescue the mystic from the Circle of Thorns."
Now, really, it's either the defeat badges or the History badge.
And Silverado, I think you have your badges mixed up, because getting Force of Nature is better than a bunch of GM and Kill 333 NPC badges.
maybe you're thinking of "Born in Battle" which requires the 1 Million damage taken badge (which can be harder for people with +HP powers/set bonuses/etc) -
Quote:Dark Respite, Steel Claw, and Zombie Man are three I can think of right off the top of my head.Ooooh! Who are the Seven Legendary Forumites? I must know so that I may complete my battle pla... er, I'm very curious, nothing more!
Dr. Aeon is the 8th of the 7 Legendary Forumites, as well (It's a honorary position). -
Quote:Actually, you want to keep an eye on him, just don't look into the eyes, because...We must never discuss Zombie Man
We must never look directly at Zombie Man or pay the ultimate price .....
At least that's what I heard
OMG! ZOMBIE MAN IS REALLY A WEEPING ANGEL! -
Blue might want to raise it to +0, but the OP would still benifit from going from +4 to +0 as far as speed/kills-per-hours is concerned.
-
Try lowering your difficulty.
As long as they are able to drop level fifty commons, NPC level does not matter. Rank (minion/lt/boss) matters, but level does not affect any drop chances. So lower level mobs mean faster farming. -
Quote:That's right, isn't it? The mez supression is a per power setting. For a defender:
FFG: 13.3%
CJ: 2.5%
Maneuvers: 3.5%
Stealth: 2.5% Suppressed
Weave: 5%
If you slot them all for +56% defense (i.e. ED capped) you get a total of 45.7% Defense.
The low damage is technically not a concern except that it increase the change of the RNG killing you. The sleep hole is also not a huge risk, half of your defense comes from the FFG which is a pet and as such is not suppressed when you get mezzed. -
The issue with Pools is we are not locked into them, and they are not taken at startup - there are /coding/ issues to deal with.

Quote:Story arcs give reward merits.OK I'm starting to understand this new expansion a lot more thanks to you guys who stuck around
... I have noticed that the toons are a little stronger in the lower levels now as well. No big deal, just surprised . I got another question to ask also. Back in the day, I use to just do radio missions on the way to 50.. It was fast exp and quick missions and could even battle a boss in those bank missions. My question is this is it now worth doing story arcs besides just getting a badge?
