  1. If I had to choose between Omega Maneuver and Spiderlings, I'll take the latter. Unless there is an upcoming change to OM that I don't know about, it's not worth taking IMHO.
  2. With both the Kismet proc and Tactics fully slotted with Gaussians, you should get a to-hit % slightly less than 22%. I'm pretty sure you can make up the difference with boosters...

  4. My math sux so help me if I'm wrong... If there is a 34.14% of getting an ATO in a pack and there are 12 ATO sets (6 pieces in each), my chances of getting the piece needed for my favorite toon (MM) is about 0.4742%. So I would have to buy more than 200 packs to get the full set... ouch.
  5. What’s the quickest way to stealth a mission with an MM? I’m doing tip missions to change my alignment and noticed it takes anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to complete one mission if I kill everything in my path…

    Stackable powers

    I have a high recharge build for my /Time toon and most of the powers recycle pretty quickly. My question is do any of these powers stack (from the same caster) or am I just wasting endurance casting these as soon as they’re up? And how can one tell if any power is stackable (from the same caster) without using a power analyzer?

  8. I hope this fix wouldn't affect players from joining the Hamidon raid. It's one of the few events in CoX that I and many others enjoy.
  9. I wonder if this change will create an exodus of players who don't want to have to respec their characters or retire them... Too bad this fix wasn't made years ago or else the impact would've been far less.
  10. I've been in LAMs where Marauder was kept from jumping away from his spawn area. If I have a plant/storm/ice controller, would I alone have enough -jump to keep him in place (with the creeper vines/freezing rain/ice storm combo)?
  11. If I confused a group of prisoners (not the harden commandos) in a BAF trial who are trying to escape, what exactly would they do? Would they run back to their respective entrances or just ignore this power entirely?
  12. Does the reactive dot or any interface dot still break sleep? If mind doms have two useful sleep powers, is it still worthwhile to take reactive? If not, then which interface in your opinion would work best for mind doms?

  14. Noob question regarding Paragon Rewards (Tier 9)… If I was rewarded 5 enhancement boosters in my mailbox, is that account-based meaning I can use 5 boosters for each of my characters or is that just one character of my choice?
  15. I'm working on a build and according to Mids, it has 1.28/s EndUse and 3.3/s (198%) EndRec. Is there a "rule of thumb" as to how much EndUse is allowable before the toon becomes unplayable? Let's say there are no recovery buffs of any sort.

    Regen vs Max HP

    If 2% Resistance is roughly equal to 1% Defense, is there something similar when we compare Regen versus Max HP?

    I'm working on a build in Mids (for my DM/SD scrapper) and I'm trying to decide if getting 25% Regen is better than losing 3.4% Max HP...
  17. I read in other posts that SM>MG>SM>SL is pretty good. Wish I knew how to plug that into a DPS formula to confirm it.
  18. Does anyone have a checklist of what a “min-max” DM/SD build should have and rank these attributes accordingly? I know defense is the highest priority and then recharge for the top chain but what about regen, resist, +hp, etc?

    1) Soft-capped positional defenses
    2) Enough recharge for SM>SL>MG chain
    3) Perma or near perma hasten
    4) > 60% regen bonus?
    5) > 33% S/L resist?
    6) > 10% HP bonus?
  19. I'm tired of GMs and AVs running from me and focusing their attention at my minions so I'm thinking, will taking provoke eliminate both issues? I don't have experience with this taunt power, will it be strong enough to keep the mob in one place so I can get full use out of traps while my pets are blasting away?

  21. I’m planning to build a DM/INV and a DM/Shield character but can’t decide on the AT. Brutes will definitely have an edge in survivability but in terms of damage, I’m not sure if they can compete with scrappers who will benefit from the +dam in DM (or shields). DM/INV, in my opinion, would be best on a brute because of DP and scrappers would be better with DM/Shield… Does that sound right?

    DM/EA or DM/INV?

    With the recent changes to EA, how does that armor stack up to INV when pairing with DM? If I’m planning on a high-end build (soft-cap typed def except psi) would DM/EA be a better choice?
  25. Just curious... For the subscribers who opt for freeplay, would the character names from the slots that they give up be open for everyone? If that's the case then it would be the same for the people who have been inactive for years.
