  1. Team Teleport is popular for Traps users last I heard, if it still works for them.

Group Fly can be handy for Masterminds.
  2. It's like how Architect Edition comes with a free choice of a the Cyborg or Magic Pack, basically a Super Booster that coincides with the release otherwise.
  3. That and it does lots of damage.

I love taking those suckers with me.

    Costume Pieces

We have a thread for this.

And anime-looking faces really wouldn't work with the comic book style graphics. Some more ridiculous hairstyles would be nice, but I wouldn't mind some more normal looking ones.

    Hoodies? Yes please.
  5. This idea has come up a lot. I like the concept myself, though I'd probably execute it differently.

Targeting through my pets? No thanks, that sounds like a painful gimmick. I'd prefer an inherent that either boosts damage (Maybe an inverse Supremacy; you do more damage with pets by your side) or survivability. (Bodyguard Mode or similar)

I'm guessing the Commander could share sets and pets with the Mastermind (saves the devs work after all) but what would the pet set blasts be replaced with?
  6. Just read the Player Questions forum and see how many new players are shocked that we actually answer their questions as well as we can and treat them with respect. (although they can get nasty when provoked, but only idiots do that)

...though I have to say Suggestions and Ideas is the opposite, but again compared to other MMO forums it's probably a party.

    Jack Emmert?

I always liked how in this game, you start with attacks that will remain useful for the entire game, rather than constantly throwing out old stuff for new stuff. (like... erm... Pokemon?)

    Worst Miss Tells

All you folks talking about massive bizarre erp/cluster F bomb/gibberish mistells without saying what they actually were should at least give us the highlights.

I never make or see interesting mistells, I'm boring/too good with the mouse.

    * Slightly exploitative farming that's not really all that fast but is really safe, which is more suited to solo play because you only face one enemy at a time, and almost nobody was doing it and if they were they were doing it by themselves.

Henchman farm absolutely did not overtake the game. It was not ruining lives or destroying teams. It was an exploit and needed to be removed yes, but I don't buy "I couldn't find teams so I HAD to exploit!"
Possibly. But the devs set a standard to uphold and it wouldn't make sense for them to turn a blind eye to some farms and nerf others.

Besides, the farms would probably catch on pretty quickly.

    Capes?

Yeah, trench coats (3 month veteran reward), wedding veils (Wedding pack) and dresses (Magic pack) all take up the 'cape' slot as well.
  12. It's not even old news but common knowledge that the next big AE farm will be nerfed, if you pay any attention to how the game goes and have a brain.

The same way exploits screwed over the game for everyone who doesn't want to use them before; near-impossible to form non-farming teams, high-level zones are filled with clueless powerlevelled newbies that have no idea how to use their powers, nobody playing non-50 content, etc.
  14. Considering how popular cowboy comics used to be, it's hardly surprising.

    Capes?

Valkyrie Cape comes with the Mac pack. (which doesn't require a mac)
  16. You could also track down the Collector's Edition boxes somewhere, which give minor perks that there's no other way to obtain. (also some nice merchandise)

Besides, crime is pretty much the national culture of the Rogue Isles.

Heh heh, it lends itself to immigration jokes so well.
  18. Defenders do need a new inherent, but it really ought to be something simple. Maybe something to make them solo-friendlier.

That or... maybe something that, like the other ATs, plays to their strengths, maybe a boost to buffs or debuffs.

    Criminal record?

Looks like most people are gonna be a rogue/vigilante because then they can access every zone in the game.
  20. I might reroll a Stone if they let me turn into a giant diamond monster.
  21. There's a dev quote floating around (no pun intended) that Electric Control is being worked on, no further details or dates.

And I'd rather not see a mix-and-match effects powerset, might as well just wait and see if they advance Power Customisation any further.
  22. Water is one of the hardest things to model in 3D. Most devs don't bother, or have to build the whole game around it.

    New to game

The zones in CoV can get annoying since you basically start in slums, ruins and wasteland, and have to fight your way up to the shinier, swankier neighbourhoods.

Starting with a Mastermind isn't a bad idea; once you get the hang of those, everyone else seems easy.
  24. Maybe the farmers are deciding to rebel against the AE-induced stereotypes of being joyless munchkins and instead want to get people together to have fun.
