Wait, I'm confused. GR question

So the promotional page says that the Going Rogue expansion will not contain anything except the Going Rogue expansion and the new power sets - no costumes, auras, stance emotes, or Shadowy Presence. However, I looked at the page in the NCSoft store for prepurchasing the expansion, and I saw "new costume sets" listed among the features.

I'm confused! Does the expansion include the costumes or not?

There will be new costume sets with Going Rogue. The extra sets are Alpha and Omega themed and are only available with the Complete Edition or the item pack.

But didn't JLove say he had 6 or 7 new costume sets done for GR?

The expansion comes in two forms:

1) The expansion pack, which you can pre-purchase. This contains:
* Going Rogue
* Early access to the Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning powersets
You need to already have City of Heroes to purchase the expansion pack.

2) Going Rogue: Complete Collection, which you cannot pre-purchase. This contains:
* City of Heroes/City of Villains
* Going Rogue
* The Going Rogue items pack, including costumes, emotes, etc.
* One month of game time
You do not need to have City of Heroes to purchase the Complete Collection.

If you pre-purchase the expansion pack, you can purchase the items pack at a later date for an unknown price (people are guessing $10).

They're part of the expansion that everyone who buys GR will get. The goodie pack is something separate that only Complete buyers will get with GR but everyone else can buy ala cart if they want.

Okay, got it.

It's like how Architect Edition comes with a free choice of a the Cyborg or Magic Pack, basically a Super Booster that coincides with the release otherwise.

Not like that at all. There are free costume pieces as part of GR. There are bonus costume pieces for buying the expanded edition. 2 different things, and neither anything like getting a free Super Booster.
