I very much doubt it's gonna see major nerfs, Rad Blast is considered underpowered as is.

If anything, the set should be buffed.

Don't make me collect another list of dozens of comic book heroes that use pistols.

And one word: Westerns. Note that Western comics were big before superheroes.

Tankers are nice but not necessary, and 'healers' don't exist in this game.

This is why you do canon story arcs. They actually tell you what's going on in the game.

It makes telling people your name kinda difficult, and looks kinda silly.

Broadcasting is near useless. This is a multi-zone, heavily instanced game, people are rarely around to see it if they're teaming.

People are so used to complaining about the 10 things he listed ("Where are my base raids? THEY WERE ON THE BOX DAMMIT") that they didn't bother to actually read his post and automatically went into 'SHUT UP YOU STUPID NOOB' mode.

That said OP, some of them are joking.

Y'know, my first thought is that if we all started at 50, we'd be in the same position as AE babies- we'd have all kinds of powers, abilities and attributes that we don't have any idea how to use, and we'd have to learn by advice, trial and error how to make an optimal build.

Player effectiveness would not be measured by level or time sunk into the game, but by skill, straegy, and the ability to learn.

I think a melee set would work well with some similar gimmicks to the blast set- -def debuffs and higher accuracy, and catchy sound effects.

Radiation Armour, I'm not sure of... perhaps somewhere between Fire Armor and Dark Armor, with defense and Energy damage.

I've been fine in recent times, besides the odd crash when I'm not doing anything.

The problem's probably on your end.

Perhaps I have natural charisma or I'm just good at making people think I know what I'm doing, so twice over this weekend I've joined an AE team out of boredom and been handed the star.

Both times I reported the farm, and then tried to look for a decent AE arc... and decided to heck with it, and dragged the team out of the AE to do real missions because they're easier to find. And both teams turned out very well.

Of course it only works if you've got enough people in roughly the same level range and they hand you the star, but most of them just don't seem to realise that it can actually be more convenient to find missions outside of the AE that they can play, and are actually fun.

So, long story short- you want people out of the AE? Stop whining and lead them out.

I accept no responsibility for teams that may be less than receptive to the idea of leaving Atlas.

I managed to drag TWO teams out of the AE to do real missions! Maybe three if I remember right.

And when you form your own team you can lecture people with impunity!

The defender would also be doing RANGED damage. And in at least some cases would have +damage and +tohit buffs.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a tankmage, also known as overpowered.
