Just to the far side of the spawn is pretty much where you want them to be, just so any rogue cone attacks don't make it towards the team.

How did I not think of this! -
Sadly unless the xp/hour is greater than anything else it will sit pretty much untouched.
Also the less I have to do with that crappy fire extinguisher the better! Get a damn fire engine Paragon Fire Department! -
The only thing you can control about your pets is where you create them, and in the middle of the spawn is pretty much where you want them all to be.
Some people take TP Other to position their Phantasm to make best use of his cone attack. -
I haven't really looked at the builds since I am at work and don't have mids but I would say this:
Stone/Stone really doesn't need a great deal of pimping. I have found that no matter how much +DAM and +Speed you can get your attacks are still weak and only good for grabbing and holding agro not damage. And you are still too slow to run about. So on my stone/stone I plugged the Psi hole and made do with the attacks, setting on being happy to get and hold aggro.
WP/SS is too FoTM for my liking so although yes you can do some remarkable things I would concentrate my pimpage on the Invuln/EM, especially considering he is meant to be 'the' character in your stable of toons.
As for the actual pimping advice I know my limits (Warshades really) so will leave that to the experts. -
Although I am loathe to post my actual build I can give a few tips from my own point of view, but be aware Warshades are very much 'each to their own' as far as opinions go.
1 - Aim for +recharge as often as possible until you have perma-hasten, this automatically gives you perma-eclipse (By over 10 seconds!). Yes you can perma eclipse and leave it as that but perma-hasten makes the nova attack chain ST-AoE-AoE-ST-AoE-AoE-repeat and gives dwarf an attack chain of just the two main attacks without having to waste end on the heal as an attack.
2 - Think how you play, do you use Sunless mire as often as it is up? I once had a build with it perma, but since I use Nova 90% of the time I found it inefficient and took slots out of it. Right now it is 3 slotted and that is more than enough.
3 - Do you use the human attacks at all? If not (And I don't as they are much worse than nova or dwarf attacks) then don't even given them a single slot. Put all your early slots into the immob (The name escapes me) and 5 slot that bad boy with the purple immob set for the 10% global recharge.
4 - Pick up as many pool powers as you can that only need the basic slot so that you have slots for your really good powers. IE: Pick the edicine pool for the rez (On my 2nd heal badge just from rezzing so far), the concealment pool for the LoTG +recharges it can hold and superspeed which follows on from Hasten as it is handy, I also have combat jumping for another LoTG and SJ too to give me all the travel powers!
5 - Slot Nova form with only 1 or 2 slots as the end mods will work out better and end reducers in the attacks. The tohit buffs won't be needed because as a byproduct of +recharge you will get about 50-90% global accuracy anyway.
6 - If you Dwarf a lot slot heavily for endrdx in the attacks and particularly Mire as they are very end heavy.
7 - Get a -KB IO somewhere (Got mine in Absorbtion instead of the RES IO)
8 - Get a -slow IO in one of the free travel powers.
When I get home I will post some more tips on slotting of specific powers to get +recharge.
Finally I know some people also go for +Ranged Def, but with perma eclipse I honestly don't think it is worth the sacrifice in either recharge or attack power. -
Sorry, using the word sound was a bit optimistic, I meant captions ...
-
I like the idea of brining 15 minions around with you everywhere you go, would work well for my DB/WP too. Though there isn't much chance I will try the ITF solo.
Also he doesn't mention the rest of the ITF (Unless I missed it), I am pretty sure an invuln would find the cyst mission quite hard.
Still it nicely lays waste to the 'nerf romulus' crowd. -

Heck, I'm almost inspired to write a quick Triform Warshade information guide thing myself now.

Got one in progress and believe me they take a looooong time lol. -
Or make a new post here with your toon(s), play times, how long you play etc and say you are looking for an active SG and someone will pick you up.
My advice if you do that is be fussy and make sure the SG is right for you because some are active, but not necessarily when you are on and don't necessarily run short things that you can join.
Also some SG's have prestige requirements but don't let that worry you because it's worth it if you get in the right SG.
Edit: Spelling! -
Enk I think the idea is to remove the interruptions rather than make more of them.
You know in Grandville with the big TV's on the walls and you can see Lord Recluse? I think he means using that technology but adding sound throughout the mission. So you could stop and watch the TV's or just skip right on by. -

Isn't Rage itself an "on attacked power" - an attack is registered and is used to build Rage?
[/ QUOTE ]
I think you mean fury, but yes attacks against you are used to build it. Not sure of the actual mechanics behind it, this game is quite strange in what it can and can't do. -
Also it is probably worth noting the the ITF hasn't taken me longer than 2 hours for a VERY long time (No ghosting etc either), and that is with SG teams and a few PuG's.
So the idea that TF's take many hours isn't necessarily true unless you are unlucky with the team.
Joining an ITF through Sal's Badgehunter pretty much guarantees you a decent team too. -
Problem with that Psiphon is that some sets already have a +20% recharge that runs even when they are not being attacked.
If you are going to implement something like that it does need to be stackable, maybe 10% for an AV, 7 for an EB, 5 for a boss, 3 for an lt and 1 for a minion. This will get capped by the aggro cap but would give a bigger bonus than 20% in the difficult fights.
Or could go up with rage getting to 30-40% with full rage.
Either way I think if it is going to be less than perma it needs to be higher than 20%.
Edit: Never played the set so don't know how needed this is, just adding to your idea. -
I can see this for the accolades that do something to the character, but since a standard badge doesn't really do much there isn't a great deal of point putting work into this.
-
To be honest

As I said before I just typed out a bunch of info from several sites, not having a clue if it is false or correct.
[/ QUOTE ]
Is not something I would like to see people doing very often. Posting incorrect information is only ever going to cause harm to new people who read it and upset people who see it as being wrong.
You would have been far better just making a post saying "I have been told x, is this true?" and you would have got some nice replies rather than what you did get.
So for a final piece of good advice: check your facts BEFORE passing something off as advice or information. And this works on forums and in real life. -

Merits shared per account are a nice idea... But unless they fix problem with villains getting less merits, that won't happen, or if it will... Well, we have enough "devs hate villains" sentiments already.
[/ QUOTE ]
Solution: share merits per side. Red/Blue.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which will probably lead to even less villain content being done as all the villains run TF's on their heroes.
It is already hard enough to get a team villain side without making them play heroes. -
My only problem with ghosting is those people who insist on speed running everything by missing as much content as possible in order to complete a TF in 30 mins and screw up the rewards for everyone else.
-
To add my actual opinion I think it is ok for them to be tradable between your own toons on your account, and would like Vanguard Merits to be included in that as well, and the forthcoming MA merits.
But I would hate to see them becoming sellable as nobody would ever do a random roll and the less wanted IO's would become impossible to get rather than just incredibly difficult as it seems to be at the moment. -
[ QUOTE ]
Since the abomination of Merits, I've had to choose two or maybe three alts to work on IOing out. All the others just have to get by with SOs. I'd be for trading Merits between alts on one account but nothing further otherwise it defeats the object of them as has been said.
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't get this either, there is just no way you can end up worse off with merits than previously. Yes you may think that because you look and see a character with 5 merits, but you would have nothing at all before they were introduced, and eventually that will build up to 20 for a random roll.
On almost all TF's you get more than 1 random drop (Villain side is worse off yes, but the TF's are very short) so you are again better off. -
Depends entirely how you slot the rest of the build. If you are already defense capped from other powers (Which I expect you would be) I would go for the purple set, if you aren't then you may need to get some extra +DEF out of this.
I think 4 of the Eradication set, a triple from Sicrocco's Dervish and the purple proc would be the best bet however if you do need the DEF bonus'. -

has re-kindled my desire to dust of my 23 WS and give it another whirl

Good on you -
I would be happy to be corrected on this but I would say Widows are more like Claws/SR Scrapper/Stalkers with a bit of control if you go the Fortunata route and more scrapperness if you pick Night Widow.
Crabs seem more like assault rifle/energy/devices blasters with pets and good defence.
Both give some out pretty awesome team buffs too.
Though I think like with Khelds, simplifying them like this is probably missing a lot of information out. -

yes a mind dom can theoretically solo (im mind/elec) confused rom to kill his own nictus- confuse ftw tbh
[/ QUOTE ]
I daren't even think how long that would take, especially considering he would probably run from one Nictus to the other instead of just bashing on one of them. -
I say: yay!
But the browser said: The form you have submitted is no longer valid. -
Disabling fly is really going to mess up my Warshade ...
