The Lotus Drops - Katana Power

I am making a katana/superreflex scrapper, I wanna softcap it so I want good defence

For Lotus Drops, it is pbaoe, which of these would be best out of these IO Sets

Cleaving Blow -
Set Bonuses

2: Increases Recovery by 1%.
3: Increases Energy Defense by 1.25%.
4: Improves the Damage of all your powers by 1%.

So I would get a little bit of Energy Defence, think the other set bonuses from the other IO Sets are a lot better though


Or Multi Strike
Set Bonuses

2: reduces the duration of Sleep effects on you by 1.65%.
3: Increases Fire and Cold Resistance by 0.95%.
4: reduces the duration of Stun effects on you by 1.65%.
5: Increases Area Effect Defense by 1.88%.
6: Increases Melee Defense by 1.88%.

I think that would be good as a lot of enemies use aoe and some blasters will use some aoe attacks in pvp

Melee defence would be awesome for both pvp and pve so Multi Strike would be a good choice

Scirocco Dervishes
Set Bonuses

2: Improves your Regeneration by 10%.
3: Increases Negative Energy Resistance by 3.13%.
4: Improves the Accuracy of all your powers by 9%.
5: Increases Area Effect Defense by 3.13%.
6: Increases Psionic defence by 3%

These would be good as I don't get much defence to psionic and the area effect defence is pretty cool, and 10% regeneration isnt too bad

Set Bonuses

2: Increases Recovery by 4%
. 3: Increases Fire and Cold Resistance by 2.52%.
4: Improves the Accuracy of all your powers by 15%.
5: Improves the Recharge of all your powers by 10%.
6: Increases Toxic Resistance by 5%

Should I just go for Armageddon and slot Lotus Drops 3 or 4 times though?

I am thinking I only wanna spend 3 slots on Lotus Drops really, no more than that though?

Anyone got any help please?
If not I might just skip Lotus Drops anyway, so eveyrones opinions?

Depends entirely how you slot the rest of the build. If you are already defense capped from other powers (Which I expect you would be) I would go for the purple set, if you aren't then you may need to get some extra +DEF out of this.

I think 4 of the Eradication set, a triple from Sicrocco's Dervish and the purple proc would be the best bet however if you do need the DEF bonus'.

As Princess said, no idea unless I see the rest of your build. My ideal softcapped Kat/Sr would be this one, but I doubt with merits this build can be achieved until sometime in June 2027.

This would be a far cheaper version, of course, recharge and regen are not the same. Boxing is used just as a set mule and Tough... you don't even need to bother turning it on in any case on a SR:
