I recently discovered, or was told, a AE mish that I find fun to solo. I think it's 271212 off the top of my head and was made by Cyvert as a high level scrapper test. It rocks. Each black and white Leut triggers an ambush. Bad craziness.
Tickets are a side effect, but because of this I discovered what you guys have been talking about all along. Previously I would get burned over and over on merits, and thus changed to just buying LotG7.5s instead.
BTW, try that. It's very fun. Oddly enough, I suggested it with a medium low level team and we wiped horribly.
I run it +0/x8. -
Re: What Fulmens said.
I was trying to cheap out a middle 20s blaster after DP came out and stupid old Entropics were sky high.
Everyone and their little blue dog will be playing KM. There is some money to be made. That said, there might be more money to be made by just doing one of the longstanding niches out there. -
Freedom TF Chat
It's mostly Freedom Hoarde. Easier for me, at least, to just go to the Forum here. But I only run a few TF a week. -
The only other thought is if there was some Knives of Artemis costume reward thing from a con. They have some good costume pieces you just can't get.
-
Edited to add this about TFs - You can get on many by standing next to the contact, at least on a busy server. That's how i do Posi so much. And man, if you can just say, "They'll come to us." at certain times during a TF, you can prevent a team wipe. Oh, and the badguys in the lobby of city hall, they'll come to you outside.
All answers are yes though I have to say:
3) Hell yes. But the best stuff to strut is the ITF Roman gear [best armord chest detail in the game. Makes Samauri [18 month vet reward] look like the sack it is.] And the Vanguard Face Stuff = teh badassness.
My favorite toon which recently hit 50 is collecting everything in the game. While many badges are kinda lame in my opinion, having them lets other high level vets know that I'm a person who tries.
But, to reprase answers to your questions.
1) Some active SGs but I prefer global channels.
2) Most PvE that rocks is not a raid. Run ITF. And I'm one of the people fond of the new Posi [at least part 1, I hate that damn dam.]
3) Everyone likes playing with their dolls. That's all The Sims is. -
Very timely. I was going to have to look this up as I wanted to do a:
/macro VIS "say Changing into high visibility mode$$cce 4 ccCast"
Uh...will that work.
[slot five will be a garish and bright costume for visibility in dark areas, so the team can see me.] -
Like everyone said, get one some teams. Do paper missions or something.
You won't understand how well you know the game until you get some really crap leader. Leaders do lead. Or, at least, they set the mission quickly and make sure to let the team know when they are recruiting. I'll say things like "four is good, this team is solid" which works whether it is or not. Morale is key. There are no bad team combos.
If you can solo, you can rock a team. If anyone has any issues with you, say knocking back everything on earth, they'll let you know.
Once you're on some teams, you probably need to lead some. The fact that you're concerned makes me realize you'll be a good leader. But never, ever use the term healer. Makes people like me flinch. I'd rather have more control anyday. They don't have insp to lock down 10 enemies. -
Technically, there is no reason for the elipsis unless you are continuting. This might be due to you being in combat at the time, etc.
I'd like it if we could say nty and it would be interpreted as "No, thank you." I do want to thank them for the invite. I usually go, "No, but thanks anyway." or sometimes elaborate, "Toon is totally busted up after a respec, but thanks anyway." Cause my toons are always busted up after a respec. -
The two raids I've been on I've just stumbled across. If you are in RWZ and one is forming up, give a shout on one or two of the global channels you use. Hopefully someone else will do the same and you can hop in regardless of where you are.
Pylons are cake once you get moving around. The ship is lag lag lag. But worth it if you're making the costume. Freaky face parts FTW. -
OK, tonight, if we have two teams, I'll lead the lower ones, or those who need it, in Midnighters. That might go pretty quick.
What're you thinking Hyper? Others?
Oh, and the obligetory:

I think it's /
You could always, from the toolbars, select power, (attributes maybe, whatever's in the top left of that), then in base you can right click on your hp and monitor it. Makes a little widget like thing showing whatever you need.
I monitor defense on my katana/ but always run speed and jump speed, I'm not sure why exactly, but I do. Also, last hit % and xp to next level, maybe inf. -
-
On a related note, I know there is an adjustment in Mids to change the defense/level of the enemy you're fighting, adjusting the math on the accuracy of each attack.
I think mine is set to 75%, which I think is what it should be for an even level Leut. Do we know of a table where the numbers are set?
I might want to set it to +0/8 sometimes and +2 others. -
I'm Mr. 000.
Re what Bill Z said:
Oddly, last night I discovered what the big deal with running AE stuff was. I was running this crazy toughness test made by Cyvert [I think I spelled that right] and got 500+ tickets. I already had 500, so I did a boatload of bronze rolls...15m for around 10 minutes of fun.
Though, I'm not sure I'd always want to run AE unless the mish's were unique and fun, and mostly in AE that's not the case. -
Catwomen with blue hair as teir 9.
Catwomen with pink hair as tier [the middle one]
Short wolf-headed huge in Martial Arts Pack clothes for tier 1.
Or those "left in the rain for a few years" haggard street walking NPCs.
Or really, really short CoT mages. Like garden gnomes. Hell, I'd love that. -
Do we have a 50 so we can do ITF? Or do we need one? I thought all spawn in ITF were level 53...
How many 35+ do we have? I don't remember Kaylee's level, but it's above 32 and below 40. -
I really had fun on Team 2 tonight.
My three most significant things were (1) having the map "mess up" only to find that there is an option to turn off the other player's green arrows, and it was set to off. Doh. (2) On an hunt, thinking, "man, I really found a bunch here," then having someone announce it was an ambush. (3) My own fake ambush, getting team teleported 100 yards around a corner and bringing the 8 or so baddies I was fighting to the team.
Oh, and some pesky Galaxies corner-pulled me. So tricky them.
At one point, if I could have typed fast enough, I would have said, "MOM! Dickie's killing my Galaxies!" -
Confirming I'll bring Saltier as she needs the badge.
Geez, I hate caves. -
TFs are all I like going at the moment. I've never had a single...oh, wait, I was on a totally ***** ITF, but that was back on Liberty server...but anyway, pugs are bugging me. Bad leaders.
I don't how many merits my main toons have. Around 200 or so, because once I hit 280 I'm always staring longingly at the LotG 7.5 -
BAD REP FOR YOU!
[not really]
I disabled mine. I should enable it to see what color it is.
EDIT - I turned it back on, but where can I see the little comments like "Means well" or "Mostly harmless" that go along with the votes? -
Quote:I wouldn't say VEATs are super powerful, at least not in comparison to HEATs. They have a range of somewhat unique abilities that make them a different play experience than the other ATs, but that doesn't make them better or worse. My Tri-Form warshade is super powerful, until she's not, for whatever reason. Every AT has it's strengths and weaknesses. Play to their strengths, and their super powerful. Same if you cover their weaknesses. Put them in the wrong situation and they splat just as easily as any other AT.
