  1. The patron respec lasts until you use it, regardless of alignment.
  2. Anti-Anti-Matter and Bunker Buster pushed me to 1,201. Should have had Green Stuff too, but the last time freeze happened right before the Oblit beam hit (grrr).
  3. Trying again. We were close last week.

The Complete Collection Item Pack is $6.99, not $9.99.

On the other hand, the Paragon Points pricing is also inflated because it includes Shadowy Presence. Worst power ever.
  5. Thanks to everyone who came out, and sorry we couldn't get the badge this week.

I'll probably try again next week, same time.
  6. Lady Grey is the last of the old no defeats/no temps Master of... badges I'm still missing on my main, and with it being the WST seems like a good time to give it a try.

    Kraken vs Lusca

As for why the giant octopus got the name Lusca...

Not every NC game makes you accept it every time; I know GuildWars doesn't.

I don't really mind it, I can click past it just as fast in game as from the old launcher. Although it does make me even more grateful for the "quit to character select" feature.
  9. The good: Work is slow (especially in the evenings) so I theoretically could play from work, and my boss likely wouldn't know, and probably wouldn't care if he did as long as I wasn't playing instead of working.

The not-so-good: My computer at work is not good for gaming. My internet connection is not fast enough when it's up, and it's a rare shift where it doesn't slow to a crawl or go down altogether; we're supposedly going to be able to get DSL Soon™.

So no, I don't play at work, although it's mostly because of technical limitations. I do have Mids installed, so I can play with that.
  10. Also from that thread:

That's Trace Adkins, not Alan Jackson. (I'm one to talk; I thought it was Toby Keith when I first heard it.)

    Music and CoH???

I turn on my iPod when I think about it. It's all stuff I've ripped from my CDs, mostly country and mostly from the mid '90s to the early '00s.

If you're in a mission, you won't get logged off.

As for the CoT Guards, do you just play a radio/paper mish with CoT at +4 difficulty?

Find an enemy with a single long-recharging but hard-hitting attack. Pop a bunch of purples and activate Rest. Watch for a couple attack cycles to make sure you don't get one-shotted and can heal back to full between attacks. It'll still take a long time, so your best bet is to set this up before you go AFK for an extended period (overnight, going to work, etc.).

I've been using level 54 CoT Guides, who do ~1200 damage per shot with Rest active, for my blaster. I usually get 2-3 million points of damage per night.

Yeah, I don't remember Devoured Psi-Knight ever being a Boss, but I haven't run that mission lately.

However, two DE tips in the 40-50 range (hero selection for "Scrawled Bark" and "You Can't Keep Your Balance!") have always had the end Devoured be a Boss rather than downgraded to a Lieutenant, even with "No Bosses" selected.
  16. Judging by the listing at CIT, the badge for crafting a very rare boost is called Incarnate.

    Also, agree with "ugh, 50."

Doesn't work that way, or at least it shouldn't.

  18. The badge for crafting a rare boost:

    Well Drinker
You've crafted your first Rare Incarnate Ability earning yourself this badge.

    XXP Results:

My goal was to get 6 villains on a second account to level 15.

Computer issues have made that seem improbable and my goal now is six level 12s, to be leveled up to 15 over the next couple weeks. I'll have two there by time I go to bed tonight, and lots more time to play tomorrow and Sunday.

Edit: Oh, and I got the Invulnerable badge on my main. 48 million to go for Immortal.

Talk to Serafina in Brickstown, located near the AE building and marked on the map as "Magic Store." She'll give you a mission; after you complete it, you'll unlock her store.

It's called Reformed Firebug (for heroes and vigilantes) or Firebug (for villains or rogues).

    Quote:
    2. Is there a badge heroes can get for defeating fire hydrants, etc.?
Yes, Anger Manager/Vandal. However, there's no progress bar for this badge, and it won't be noted under Closest to Completion. A placeholder will show up under Defeats listing the full requirements: 25 each mailboxes, newstands, pay phones, and fire hydrants.

Also, the following badges won't show progress bars or placeholders for heroes or vigilantes:
    - Anger Manager/Vandal (as above)
    - Bloody Hands/Hero Slayer (defeat 25 heroes)
    - Thin Line/Outlaw (defeat 1000 PPD)
    - Locksmith/Safecracker (destroy 10 vault doors)
    - Pedestrian/Impounder (destroy 100 cars)
    - Reformed Firebug/Firebug (complete 10 arsons)
However, vigilantes can earn the badges when they meet the requirements.

    Quote:
If it helps with the answer at all, when converting from hero to villain I already had received all the badges from safeguard missions. Not sure if that makes a difference.
    Shouldn't make any difference.
  22. LRSF went well. Think it took longer to recruit than to run.

Barracuda... we did well up to Reichsman. Then... I didn't really have a strategy, we wiped, and were never able to regroup. Definitely going to need to learn that SF better before I try to lead it again.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the SFs; sorry we weren't able to finish Barracuda.

  23. Grats to all who got the badge. Sorry I didn't make it in time.
