Redside respec question
You don't lose that respec by changing alignments/morality

The patron respec lasts until you use it, regardless of alignment.
No, the respec will stay with you, as will the ability to use any Patron Pool pool, regardless of your alignment when you do the respec.

thanks for the quick responses guys! it would be crushing to change alignment and then go to use my respec only to find the villain power pools have disappeared.
Agreed, once you have completed any of the patron arcs(and earn one of the patron badges) all of the patron pools are always available on that character whenever you do a respec on that character.
As a side note, I think I missed something. When did the patron arcs start granting a respec?

"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
I think it was in Issue 13 when they changed it so doing any one arc unlocked all 4 pools rather than the one that matched the arc you did.

Well then, I guess that I am, once again, wrong. Go figure.
I started playing shortly after villains started and have always preferred red-side. (I like the story arcs and easy travel more than blueside)
My first and main character is a Stalker soloist, and a badge and souvenir hunter from before we could turn off XP (I used debt, on purpose, to slow down leveling)
But when he did his patron arc(Because otherwise he would not have epic powers to choose from) he was not granted a respec. Of course, they hand out freespecs like candy around here, so he already had three of the things hanging around and probably didn't have room for another at the time.
Patron powers have always come with a respec, because you can achieve level 41 before completing the first arc to unlock them, and turning off XP wasn't an option until "recently" (not exactly "recently" NOW, but "more recently than patrons" at least)

Well, almost always. According to the patch notes in the wiki, Patron Powers were added on June 6, 2006 and the Patron respec was added August 1, 2006. Still a very small window of time.

A couple of days ago I finished the Mu patron arc, which grants you a respec along with making the villain pool powers available. I am now about to become rogue because my character is working back to blueside where he came from. My question is, if I haven't used the respec yet and thus not chosen the Mu powers I want, do I lose the ability to do so once I'm back to hero, or even rogue?

And to answer the question that I know is coming, I haven't respec'd yet because I'm taking my time planning out my endgame build and don't want to rush it, but DO want to rush getting back to Paragon
Thanks for any help you all can pass along!
