    Mu Mastery?

    You can start making the switch to villain at any time during your levelling. You just need to do your tip missions and make sure you choose the vigilante path for each on. Once youve completed 10 (can only do 5 per 24 hrs) youll get an alignment mission which will make you an official vigilante. Then you do 10 more tips and go the villain path after which you get another alignment mission to go full villain. Then you can go get the patron arc from one of Lord Recluse's henchmen and do that, after which you can get Mu mastery!

    i can handle some minor clipping issues. i dont mind paying for those pieces at all. hopefully we'll get some form of those shoulders in the near future...

    Does anyone know if the shoulder spikey-looking things that the new CoT death mages have will be available as a costume piece? I bought the CoT pack but, of course, that item is not available...

    You DID look at my build right? Im at work right now but off the top of my head i have 4 LoTG recharges and 3 or 4 set bonuses to global recharge and im *this* close to perma hasten. If thats not very much, please tell me what is...? FYI my rotation is burn>footstomp>fences>ball lightning and with testing on my build which is barely half done in game it is rare that one of those isnt up anytime.

    Like i mentioned, much of my in game build is still lvl 50 SOs and im runnin 2/8 without breakin a sweat. You honestly think this build is junk?
  7. Well thats the problem as well. There is SO much info on this particular powerset combo that its really hard to know where to start. Trust me when i tell you that i spent a few hours going through all of the other threads i could find and made a build based on what i figured was best. Thus leading to this thread. How else would i know if i put it together properly if i dont ask the players with experience?

    So what you're saying is - "don't try to use your brain to come up with something. Go copy one of the other builds, hope it works, and leave us alone"

    I'm very sorry that everyone else is trying to optimize the same set that I am. There's a reason for that. Just because I'm late to the game doesn't mean I should be ignored. I posted a build and asked for help, what's wrong with that? I don't want to copy someone else's, and I'm sure I would have been looked down upon if I did.

    How can I win?

  14. A couple of days ago I finished the Mu patron arc, which grants you a respec along with making the villain pool powers available. I am now about to become rogue because my character is working back to blueside where he came from. My question is, if I haven't used the respec yet and thus not chosen the Mu powers I want, do I lose the ability to do so once I'm back to hero, or even rogue?

    And to answer the question that I know is coming, I haven't respec'd yet because I'm taking my time planning out my endgame build and don't want to rush it, but DO want to rush getting back to Paragon

    A friend of mine was looking at my build as well and he said that I had too much recharge and crap endurance. Do you guys see that, and if so, how can I fix that?

    Just hit 50 with my SS/FA/Mu. Was hoping a few of you would be able to offer an IO set build that I can put together over the next few days. He is going to be used only for AE fire farms. Which sets should I aim for, and in what powers? Thanks!
  22. All I can offer is my experience so far. Every farmer I've seen that has an incarnate, has Ion. I took Void on my invul/ss tank, thinking it would be better because I herd, but I am very disappointed with it's performance and will be switching to Ion as well. My SS/FA will also be taking Ion.

    As for your interface slot, from what I've seen and read, most seem to go for Reactive.

  23. Thanks, I appreciate the response. I went through quite a number of pages on the thread you linked for me, and all I found was either number crunching or people fighting back and forth about which primary does a little more dps than the other.

    All I'm looking for is slotting help. I don't want to waste a slot somewhere that it doesn't need to be. I know which POWERS to take, I'm just looking for some guidance on how many slots each needs to have, and ultimately the IO sets to shoot for.

  25. I currently have a 42 SS/FA brute working towards redside for Mu mastery, at which point I'll bring him back blueside. He will only be used for AE fire farming missions. I'm sure there are many pros out there running a similar set up. Could i get some advice and perhaps a mids build that i can work with once i hit 50 and respec? Thanks!
