What is the best way to get the Immortal Badge with my Bot/Trap MM??

Find an enemy with a single long-recharging but hard-hitting attack. Pop a bunch of purples and activate Rest. Watch for a couple attack cycles to make sure you don't get one-shotted and can heal back to full between attacks. It'll still take a long time, so your best bet is to set this up before you go AFK for an extended period (overnight, going to work, etc.).

I've been using level 54 CoT Guides, who do ~1200 damage per shot with Rest active, for my blaster. I usually get 2-3 million points of damage per night.

How do you manage to avoid being kicked out by the server? I heard that if you are in respec mode you're safe, is this correct? As for the CoT Guards, do you just play a radio/paper mish with CoT at +4 difficulty?

If you're in a mission, you won't get logged off.

Its a bit of a nightmare for MMs as they have the lowest hp of all the ATs. +4 Guides will 1 shot an MM in rest most of the time. I had to go even con for my MM and I was lucky to get about 1-2m towards my next badge over a night.

Oh and it's no good having pets out and on passive, because the mob will just attack them after a while and them will resort back to you once they're all taken out.

I use the liberate tv mish. Set it to 1 lvl higher than your toon and at least x3 enemy's. Next find a group of enemy's with at least 2 dragoons in it kill all cept the dragoons. keep trying to rest till they dont interupt you and you get into rest mode. I get 4-5m damage a night.

This may only works for brutes tho. havnt tried with any other class.

You need an enemy that does a single damage type with no damage over time. Under those conditions, you CAN'T be one-shotted. This is due to the 'one shot code'. You can take 5,000 pts of damage in one hit and you will be left with 1 HP. You just need to be able to heal back to full before the next hit.

I agree with the "no DoT", but it can certainly have 2 damage types. For example, the Rikti Captor we used before the AI change had 2 damage types (Lethal/Energy), and both values contributed toward progress (which is what made it twice as fast as the other methods for me at the time).
