Keep us posted on that work schedule. I just made a new brute in Preatoria for that possible run on the 30th.
On a side note WB, most of the folks that were regulars in my Triumph sg's have dropped off the planet over the last year so my vent server is severely under used. PM me if you want to use it for some TT or Brutal Monday stuff. Its small (15 person max I think) but more than happy to let it get some use.
Looking forward to more smashy smashy!

Sweet! T-54 seems to collect alot of dust over here on Triumph. I always go with one of my 8 brutes before that lonely little tanker.
If anyone is interested, I will run a Numina that night. I dont know any of the short cuts so it will be an unorganized and likely overly long Numina, but i will lead one as I need it for the accolade. -
Hot diggity! Back to Triumph this month. My Shield/Mace gets lonely there.
As far as the whole Virtue question floated above, me likey option one. -
That was one of the more productive TF's I have been on in a long while. Picked up an Aegis, Eradication, Karma, and a Freebird Fly plus an Impervium, a level and a half of XP, not to mention the merits.
It was a fun group although I was a little disappointed that I died before Witty, but then now that I think about it, Witty didnt die at all. Something strange was going on.
Good times as always. Can't wait for the next one. -
Really bummed I missed this. I somehow managed to come down with some sort of nasty stomach virus and came home from a 9 hour safety training class with a 102 fever...needless to say I missed the second day of class today.
Glad to see it went well and hope to see ya all next time. -

I know another server had tried to get a Brute day going about a year ago. I'm not really sure, but I think it was short lived and may have been on Champion ... Atm, I don't plan on touring with Brutal Mondays (TTs seem to take up enough of my time

Well, thanks to the last few nights of my 7pm-7am work shift consisting of working by myself, with nothing to do but look out the window of the work trailer at equipment waiting to be demobilized from an oil spill clean-up, basically doing nothing, I have Johnny Wildfire up to level 12. Woot! Shooting for at least qualifying for a Cap run on Monday.
I am really looking forward to this. As much as I like TT's and they have made me enjoy and appreciate the AT, Brutes are by far my favorite and most common AT. Me likey red side =]
Any plans for a Champs version? I did move Mr. Brownstone (50 stone/fire) there a while back plus made 2(3?) more and if anyone wants to do a Triumph run I still got at least 5 Brutes there after moving Brownstone and Pimpy to make room for new stuff. -
This still has me miffed I moved The Earl of Pimpwich (lvl 50 EM/WP)to Virtue during the last round of transfers...not sure what I was thinking on that one. So I had to start from scratch. On that note, say hello to Johnny Wildfire!!! My new SS/Fire brute who hopefully will be in attendance for the opening event. No idea what level I will manage to get him up to by then.

Get outta my head!! Wanted to do this on my home server for a while now. I was going to call it The Monsters Ball but this works too.
Now I need some free transfers so I can move one of the eight or so brutes I have on Triumph over to Justice. I am running out of character ideas to whip up a new one =[ -
They do seem to pack a bit more of a wallop, especially at the lower levels. Tried first on a level 10 DP/Energy blaster in Preatoria and was routinely licking pavement. Switched to a level 27-28 DA/Elec tank and was mowing them down will little or no issue at all.
Now, the friggin Zombie invasion mobs seem to be owning just about everything I have run on this week, especially when trying to kill a few of them solo. -
I couldn't agree more. Knowing this is in the pipeline and arriving "soon" is driving me nuts. It's like parking a '69 camaro in my garage and telling me I can drive it "soon"....but its right there!!! Nope, not yet. BUT ITS RIGHT THERE!!!! Nope, soon. *sigh* All that is left is to sit here and longingly stare, waiting for the keys to the hot rod.
This cannot get here fast enough. -

My fall harvesty/holloween tank is still stuck in Preatoria so Major Freezerburn will have to answer the call.

I have been around 50 some months now and I remember pvp being fun and enjoyable in the old days...and I was not that good at it back then. We still did it though. I would go solo or with sg mates to pvp zones for some fun and if things got to heated or one sided I would try and get help or just get out.
The Revenants used to have regular Arena nights within the sg that grew into arena nights involving groups in our coalie like Girls of Hangem High and the Furiosos (who also flew the coop with free transfers). It was fast paced and fun even if there were some toons you knew you wanted to steer clear of.
The fact is, a lot of us that were learning our way into pvp simply do not have the time/inf, or even the will, to learn it again. Especially when some of us (well me) figure there are more changes coming which will make what I learn now probably as useless as the last set of changes did. In my opinion the changes killed pvp for die-hards and casual pvpers alike.
I will likely not touch pvp until changes are made that I feel are more permanent and closer to how things used to be. Much in the same way I stay clear of MA because of the constant changes that invalidate good stories. When its fixed and if I am still around I will gladly take part in those aspects. Till then, not so much. -
The Krazy Kangaroo mish team did pretty well. Double ice patch/burn + 2x shield (elec & Mace) makes short work of mobs. Well...except for that one mish.
Was a good time as always. Got two full levels and a crappy snipe recipe. I HATE when the game gives my tanks snipe recipes.
I never got back to the boards to see the Preatorian stuff but I can definately throw together a new tank for a golden run next month if we want to try again. I gots lots o slots left on Justice. -

Since I am now off of night shift, I wouldn't mind taking a crack at this. I would probably use Murder Machine (SS/Elec brute) he seems to be my best TF toon but I have a bunch of others I could bring.

I am praying this run of night shift work ends by the Oct. TT. I need to smash some stuff.
Been working 25 days...errrr....nights straight since this thing started but zero life and zero time with the wife is a harsh trade off for the extra cash. Thoughts of Vegas or Key West this winter, with some of the extra loot, are the only thing keeping me sane.
Hopefully I will be begging for a TF spot come October.

Well, unfortunately I will not be able to make the Hootenanny this Friday. I am still working 7pm-7am shift, 25 days straight now
This doesn't mean the Hootenanny has to end though. Arachnobunny (Phantom Cobra) might take up the lead or if anyone else cares to hold the reins feel free.
I hope to be back to regular play soon...lord I hate working nights. -

The Runaways had some of my favorite new characters in a marvel series in along time. The early stories were fantastic then it lost its way a bit but there is still so much potential there for a writer with the right touch. I really wish they would cut some of the bajillion Spiderman/Wolverine/Deadpool series and give stuff like Runaways and Doc Voodoo a chance to grow with some decent support and writers.
Movie wise, if they don't try and bubble gum it up for the kiddies, and keep the characters true to form, it could be an excellent movie. Given hollywood's track record I don't have much hope. -

I never said healing was required in every group. I just used a particular example. A team with multiple tanks and good controls that work together can do fine without a healer. A team with a single tank and no control is going to need appropriate buffs or awesome heals though.
