Burtal Mondays

Hi all,

Our next Brutal Monday will be on Decemeber 6th. Meet in RWZ at 6pm PST\9pm EST, just on the West side of the zone entrance bunker. For our SF/TF, we'll try for Silver mantis on the Red side and Sister Psyche Blue side (depending on level ranges, and if we get any other/better requests ). As always, all levels and power sets are welcome, as long as you're a Brute!

Also, I'm looking at running a side Gold Brutal Monday on November 29th (If my work schedule allows). We'll meet in Nova Praetoria in front of the train station, 6pm PST\9pm EST, and we'll get teams set up from there.

Keep us posted on that work schedule. I just made a new brute in Preatoria for that possible run on the 30th.

On a side note WB, most of the folks that were regulars in my Triumph sg's have dropped off the planet over the last year so my vent server is severely under used. PM me if you want to use it for some TT or Brutal Monday stuff. Its small (15 person max I think) but more than happy to let it get some use.

Who's Burt?

Lol! Actually Burt is the person who is supposed to proof my posts and otherwise make sure I keep out of trouble. As you can see he does a horrible job. I'm currently looking for a new "minder".

So far it looks good for a Gold side Brutal Monday on Nov 29th (tomorrow). Meet in Nova Praetoria by the train station at 6pm PST\9pm EST and we'll get things rolling from there.

The things I learned on a Praetorian Brutal Monday:

1. Brutes are not tanks (especially brutes that only have TOs).
2. Cinder is the most persistent player I know, having to reform a team and even resorting to strategy to bust those ghouls. You're awesome, Cinder. Thanks for keeping it together when it really looked like it was going to go south really fast.
3. Cynical belies the name and makes fun wherever it's there to be had. Thanks for being so upbeat. You made me smile.
4. Warboss and Rangle are hilarious when they quip at each other, and Papa knows how interject a sense of humor into a battle. Thanks for the laugh, you three, and for picking up the remnants at the end.
5. Scat really knows how to play a brute. Is there any AT you can't play well? Thanks for being there.
6. That Burt guy was a total flake and didn't bother to show up. Hope he makes it to RWZ on December 6th.

And if anyone does know anything about Drag Queens it's Papa....

Glad you had fun Callie. I'm just glad most folks understand that War and my quipping back in forth is all in good fun and in good nature.

And as for Papa's sense of humor, you're wearing THAT dress? Really? OK.

Oh kwap, we were playing Brutes? No wonder....

Anyways, glad you had a good time Callie. I must admit that even though I spent the majority of the time dirt napping, I had a blast. We had a great team and after the teams settled down/merged into one things went pretty well.

Rangle, PapaS and I have all be running together on TTs for some time now and yeah, they're good guys to team up with and we usually have fun at the all AT teaming events. Definately two folks I enjoy running with.

If you think Brutal Monday was silly join us on a TT (next TTJ is 14th!) when we're not so squishy. (although Rangle can be a real Aggro hog...)

All-in-all, considering the lack of promotion I was able to give the event, I think it went rather well... I'll try to run another Gold side Brutal Monday in December, probably around the 20th.

And, I too wanted to thank Cinder for the forming/reforming of his team. It's always a little tough on AT specific events getting everyone on a team and getting things rolling and I do appreciate the effort Cinder and you for sticking with it.

And of course thanks all for coming to the event. Next regular Brutal Monday is Dec 6th!

Thanks Callie, Nuke I wouldve kept at it even if it was just me but having all the rest of you around is the reason I still love this game and don't expect to quit anytime this lifetime.
