    MA/SR Stalker

I know Martial Arts/Super Reflexes is not the most powerful toon out there, but this was my first stalker, so I thought I'd see what I could do with it.

After getting softcapped defence, I concentrated on +damage. A 42% damage buff is not bad

Is it possible to get any more damage in this build without compromising other areas?

(and yay for six slotted Stamina)

Well, both the characters are green(ish). It certainly gives a different look to the pieces.

Or maybe the artists were having a bit of a green day. (These weren't the only pieces they did on green that day)

So, there I was at the EMS last weekend, waiting for my Sister-in-Law to get her photo taken with yet another celebrity, when I passed by some comic book artists...

    Iguana Eddie by John McCrea

    Phedre by Lee Bradley

Now that I've had these two done, I really need to get some more of my characters done. This could get addictive...and expensive.

    From http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=188419 :-

Ice Sword Circle: Decreased this powerÂ’s damage scale from 1.55 to 1.19, increased its recharge from 20 seconds to 22 seconds, increased its endurance cost from 18.5 to 20.2 and increased its radius from 10 feet to 15 feet.

That looks like a fairly hefty reduction in damage to me.
  6. My second 50 was a Plant/Ice dom, the easiest ride to 50 I've had so far.

Both Plant and Ice start off strong, with Ice Sword, Ice Sword Circle, Roots(optional), and Seeds of Confusion all available by level 8. You'd be hard pressed to find a power combo that's as strong at that level.

Plant/Fire is probably the stronger combo later on, but I don't like waiting around for all those DOTs to take effect.

If their community is as tight as it could be, they're all talking in globals agreeing upon what ridiculous mis-information to relay to the NA community.
We normally go with 'More tea Vicar?'.

We had 'Would you like a scone with that?' for a while, but had too many arguements about how to pronounce 'scone', so that one had to go.

You're doing it wrong. If they don't understand you, just repeat the phase a bit louder. Maybe wave your arms about.
  10. Woohoo!

Now, where did I put the Champaign?
  11. I don't see any hats or glasses. It's no good without any hats or glasses.
  12. There's one, and only one alternate animation I want.

Bane - Build Up - Can I please have the Arachnos Rifle as an option here.

    Ooooooooh!!!

Cool, we have our own little room here.

I even got to keep my name, but it looks like I'll need a new avatar, cos this one has gone all blurry.

Same here. IE works fine, Firefox won't stay logged in. It might be a Vista related issue.

Is it bad that I find the pseudo text speak easier to read than your 'Improved English' version.
(I'm still having trouble translating 'orxogrefkl').
  16. Mud Pots? Interesting. (Hot Feet + Mud Pots anyone, assuming you have the Endurance for it all.)

    Fissue and Tremor? Nice.

Stone Mallet, Heavy Mallet, and Seismic Smash? Ouch. Slow, but heavy damage there.

Stone Spears and Hurl Boulder look a little slow aswell.

Hmmm, Power Boost. Not sure it needs that, some endurance recovery power is more likely to be needed here. Stone attacks tend to be endurance heavy, and Mud Pots isn't going to be cheap to run.

Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it...

"I think we should call it 'Your Grave'. Ha Ha. Mine is an evil laugh."
  19. I wouldn't recommend Gravity for a first timer, it is not the easiest set to play.

Plant and Earth make much easier sets to start with. Plant gets Seeds of Confusion, and Earth gets a bucket load of control options. (Although, avoid the area immobilizes, they will just get you in trouble until you know what you're doing)

Firey Assault is ok, it offers alot of damage, but is ranged focused. Electical Assault offers a more single target/melee focused roll (Dominators tend do more damage in melee). Icy Assault offers a balance between the two, but tends to cost more endurance.

For a MUCH more detailed overview of all the powers check out this guide.
  20. Sad to see you go.
    I still miss FNFC.
  21. I can bring Kat Black, MA/SR Stalker (49, very nearly 50)

There is only one major fix for bases, along with a SG fix.

Storage containers now have rank based permissions for each storage container. So each container can be set so specific ranks can add or remove items from that storage container.
