If they had done new stuff for Valanties, it would have had to be tested.
the test server has been frantically busy trying to clear the decks so issue 14 can be tested.
Having a valantine event would have pushed back the resolution of issue 13 issues (i.e. chat bug) and hence pushed back issue 14, and issue 15, which is tightly shedualed to co-inside with the 5th aniversary. -

Why on earth would that be a problem?
[/ QUOTE ]
Because of griefers who team just to cause trouble. there will be lots of people looking for teams in Pocket D for the valantines event...
[ QUOTE ]
surely they can supress only powers such as TP ally only,
[/ QUOTE ]
No, they can't.
At least not without modifying the power itself to check what zone you are in when it is used, which is a can of worms. -
There is a Black Helecopter from the airport on Cap to Fort Cerabus on Mercy.
-
They can take the proc in the Purple pet set. It just has no effect on them. Same for the global buffs. Although you could slot those inn PA to have the buff affect the Phant. It's not recomended though, as you will want to use all available slots for the PA.
You will want to slot for recharge firstly, so you can have them out as much as possible, then damage and accuracy. Frankenslotting or HOs are recomended. -
Yes, but for a new player, taking Stamina is a lot easier than hitting on a build that doesn't need it.
-
A couple of comments, with regard to solo performance:
/Kin: PA is unbuffable, and the phant tends to hang back and miss out of some of the kin buffs. It doesn't matter if you are teamed of course, but for this reason debuff sets will perform better solo with Ill.
/FF: This is a very effective "tanker" combo, but damage is awful, and so is very team orientated. -
It doesn't see through hide. It was an ambush mob targeted on you. If it had defeated you once, it would no longer target you and you could simply walk past it. Placate might have made it stop targeting you too.
You don't need to defeat it to complete the mission, but a level 40 GW should make mincemeat of it anyway, with little help from you.
As for the knockback, a couple of purple insps would stop that. It can't knock you back if it can't hit you. -
An AV is a different kettle of fish to an EB.
But if it was bugged, then the /bug report needs to be sent in the mission as that gives the devs the information they need to fix it. Reporting the bug outside the mission is pointless, because the data to find the bug will be gone. -
Would it not let you into both instances, or just the second instance?
If it was just the second instance, it may be because the first instance was no longer full.
If it was both instances, I hope you filed a /bug report. -

I think this is actually quite a good idea. You could have something in the options to enable/disable the comment box so that those who dont want to tell what was wrong with the mission dont have to.
If the devs see a trend in the mission skipping (rescue 194 hostages in cave map, find 593 glowies or other such missions) they'd probably cut down on those missions in future arcs.
[/ QUOTE ]
They wouldn't have the time to study the feadback.
Alternatively: the devs where to busy studying the feedback to create any new missions. -

You had GW on your side, and you RAN?!!!

Did I neglect to mention that Ghost Widow had stayed behind in the room I found her in and I was down to a sliver of health after one blast from that damn EB after the bubble he put me in wore off?
[/ QUOTE ]
So? You retreat, plan, preper, and either take out the EB or avoid it.
Reason for dropping mission: it was challenging. -

Ok, How about this:
Psionic Weaponary
* This would use weapon customisation, alowing a choice of a wide range of slashing weapons (daggers, swords, axes) all of which are glowie auras.
1) Spectral Strike: melee, High Damage (Psionic), +Special (Illusionary Damage, Healback)
2) Psi Slash: Melee, Moderate Damage(Psi+lethal), Foe: -recharge
3) Telekinetic Swipe: Melee (Cone), Moderate Damage(Psi+smash), Foe: KD
4) Psi Focus (Build up)
5) Draining Strike: melee, Foe: -end, -recharge, 20% chance of sleep, Self: +recovery
6) Confront
7) Psi Spin: PBAOE Melee, Moderate Damage(Psi+Lethal), Foe: -recharge
8) Mental Strike: melee, extreme Psi DoT, Foe: 30% chance of fear, 30% chance of confuse, 30% chance of stun (all mag 3, each check independant, so the target could be hit by all 3 effects)
9) Phantom Weapon: Summon pet copy of players weapon, which proceeds to attack independantly (similar to voltaic sentinal) -
I don't think anyone who has talked about Ice Storm yet. One thing the power discription doesn't mention is it has a fear effect on mobs: they will try to run out of the aoe. The slow effect helps to counter that though.
It is an excellent power for covering a strategic withdrawl I find. -
I just read someone on the US forums talking about double stacked Widow Follow Up. As far as I know, it stacks.

You can pushed the recharge to about 60 secs, leaving you vulnrable for 45 secs.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's the point. You are not meant to be perma-unkillable. -
Yup, same here. Can't connect to the patch server but the test server is working fine, as is the US server.
I think you are wrong, FFM, this looks right a problem at, or very close to, the patch server. Hardware related, rather than software. -
I think perhaps the Midnight squad have a much smaller membership in the rogue isles, so don't need so many entrances to thier HQ.
-
That could explain it, since teh character who has been using the axe reciently is my dark/shield scrapper.

You can say "yes" or "no" without it being a spoiler
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes and No.
And the spoiler earlier in the thread isn't exactly correct either. -
Which suggests we can choose to give custom bosses (& other ranks?) a primary and secondary, or the powers of an extant mob.
Malta Sapper AVs coming your way. -
Yes, I think closed beta may start early next week, which may be connected to the borkedness.
