Follow up should imo offer "theoretically" potentially better DPS from your attack chains if you can hit with it I'd say 2/3 times whilst Build Up offers Burst. I never cared to work it out for VEATs but I would assume its somit like that cos I still don't care much to work it out. You possibly can't have the best of both worlds basically set.

Veat follow up doesn't seem to stack though.
Outside of AV/GM fights, Build Up will generall give you more bang for your buck. But Follow Up is more useful for DPS on AVs and GMs (or RWZ Pylons if you want to try that sort of thing).
Can anyone confirm that veat follow up doesnt stack?
I just read someone on the US forums talking about double stacked Widow Follow Up. As far as I know, it stacks.

Looking at the in-game detailed info (which, admittedly, isn't always 100% accurate), I don't see why it wouldn't stack.
I can confirm that according to my Combat Attributes I have seen my damage buff go from 30% to 60% but whether or not its worth it depends on the build and the whole attack chain.
What you may need to know is that one follow up is one SOs worth of extra damage to an attack, so when you have 3 SOs in the build that 1 SOs worth doesn't look like a lot. You effectively increase your damage output by 1/6th.
VEAT follow up cast 0.83s is pretty good tho.

Look at it with double Assault added onto it for a constant additional 30% damage bonus. Possibly add in some set bonuses for a wee bit more here and there...
Problem is slash and lunge with its high recharges its hard to find a seamless attack chain that will double stack follow up.
So i'm working on a night widow build which is tough when trying to combine enough recharge to make a decent attack chain and still have survivability. I noticed that according to mids follow up doesnt stack? Is it worth having when its slow recharging and does little damage and doesnt stack?
