well with CM (or an equivilant (sp?)) then i can say human form ws's are extremely powerful. (PvE ofcourse) Tp into a mob, Eclipse, Mire, Damage Aura on, OG clone on, summon pet on dead enemy, continue to kill with capped resistances. stygian at end for full health and end. But without some mez protection of sorts, your pretty much a wannabe scrapper/blaster that gets held alot.... -

EDIT: just thought i would mention that my brute is only level 41 atm, this build is also incomplete at this stage. im not that far away from 50, but i like thinking ahead. (some of the io's in this build i already have)

Im just gonna trow Ice/* into there. Its a pretty decent primary (i leveled ice blast to 50 on my blaster and ive got a corr at 33 with it aswell), makes soloing easy, its got Single Target Damage and its got a couple of holds for holding enemies whilst killing others, pretty safe to be honest.

Well I find Human Form damage a bit too weak to solely rely on and the Dwarf damage that bad I won't ideally team with one who can't also be an aggro bunny. Methods to deal with ones own voids etc are nice and I prefer secondary effects and damage.

no it doesnt, it has invincibility which is its taunt aura..... i think the only brute secondary that doesnt have an "aggro grabber" is energy aura. -

Out of curiosity, have you tried it after they lowered the cast time? It made a huge difference in how i felt about it and how i use it. Freezing a boss or two normal mobs from the start is pretty handy.

i did try it on test for a little bit after it was changed, it is alot better i agree, although i still think FR>BFR in everyway, although that was on my Blaster, and not my ice/ corruptor, i can see how it would be more useful on a corruptor to have both (my blasters got freezing touch which is ALOT better but sadly corr's dont get that) i shall have to try it on my corruptor, i got mixed up between the two in the earlier post.

i dont have any experience with /rad but i do with the ice/ part and i extremely dislike BFR, really, sure the animation is cool blah blah blah good opener etc etc, it just seems to me not needed in any build, you wont be able to use it midbattle (well you could but you wont be able to do anything else whilst the animation is going on, including heal yourself or run), but try it for yourself and see, you can always respec out of it if you dislike it,
id also add, that you should get the tier 1 attack (going against what some others have said) as stacking the slows and -rech is pretty handy and it has a quick animation time. ice bolt, ice blast and bitter ice blast, is quite a nice attack chain for solo PvE,
another power which i dislike is frost breath, ive never been fond of it the cone just doesnt seem to be big enough to be of use. (30' according to mids hero designer)

I don't know much about brutes, but i've heard from various chit chat, that /stone brutes aren't worth it. Sure they get granite and heavy DEF + Res but brutes aren't tanks, and granite is a tank toggle (-65% recharge!!!)

Raising the aggro cap slightly may have its implications, 17 isnt a normal figure, its a odd figure not like a "lets make it 20" figure. For me there is a reason for that figure.
16 tripmines I believe could hit the entire 100 and so Id agree with keeping that figure down and no I dont find /devs unbalanced at all so lets leave tripmine rechg well alone

just because you can aggro more, doesnt mean it would always be the best course of action. you'll still only be able to kill as fast because of AoE caps. i dont honestly think we'd know how it would affect us until it was on test, because so much has changed since the aggro cap was introduced.

i think they should get rid of the aggro cap on test for a weekend, just to see what impact it has on the current gameplay.
