So as you might tell from the title, I chose to go down the fortunata route on my widow. At present she's still a NW (faster soloer, IMO) but I'm going to respec soon.

The build I did is mostly done for heavy single target damage with team buffs. What does it look like in terms of effectiveness and price?

Right... No comments yet but I still got more questions

I'm thinking of respeccing into fortunata at 42 (next level) and I'm wondering what power(s?) I should swap with TT: leadership to get it in the build earlier than 42. Currently the top two choices seem to be psychic wail (a nuke is nice... But I solo quite a lot) and aura of confusion (I solo a lot AND I dont use long cooldown powers often). AoC seems like a better option to skip because I'm not even planning to exemp much, and also in many teams people actually whine about using confuse

Id keep Wail, it's not amazing damage, not like a Nova/Inferno, but it doesn't drain your end, and is a nice power to have. In pvp its 70% -recharge on the target too, but I guess this pve only.

Well I respec'd a few days back and I'm already thinking of changing the build... With +rech bonuses I wont need mental blast much so going to ditch that for Psionic Tornado and lunge isn't of much use in teams so I'm dropping it for Dark Obliteration. This gives me at least some AoE damage

So if u drop your last close attack "lunge" u can also drop mask presence, it only make sense to use this 2 together.
Your fortuna is now ranged only. With the 2 free skills u can think about Aid Self or more defense/res, no brute will like u if u use Tornado after he have tount all foe and u knock all back 8).I think Confuse is enough and u dont need Aura Of Confusion, i know its funny if all run around with no plan but i think u have hold the foe's together, that brings Soul Tentacles on the plan 8).

I changed my buid 4 times now and at the moment i try it with Aid Self, Gloom, Soul Tentacles and Summon Widow.

A few things...

Mask presence. I find this power very useful even if I dont have lunge. Allows me to stealth missions and helps me avoid aggro. Wouldnt drop it, to be honest.

Psionic tornado. This power actually does knock-up on most foes (even level or higher). Cant remember if I've ever seen it do KB.

Aura of confusion. I did think about dropping this power for something like 2nd assault, but I really like it. It is my only AoE control and does its job fine.



Oh yeah, and this is the build I'm currently using (just missing the scirocco's and a couple of posi blasts)

I dont really think I need aid self, I'm now getting hit so scarcely I can rely on respites most of the time. Also with confuse/hold most things never even get a chance to have a shot at me. Soul tentacles isn't really needed either, the damage is pitiful and I dont have anything that scatters the spawn.

thats definately made my decision, Fortunata! I always thought it did KB not KU.

Widow is Looking Less and Less Appealing.
