A pet power pool, large and powerful enough to drown all the vanity pets. /signed
-
Sorry but the devs are too busy making ligers for us to buy at inflated prices.
-
Newsflash: New dancing mini-game DLC available - Lucas now makes available Jar Jar dancing to Lady Gaga's Born This Way,..... now his failure is complete.
-
The real problem is that we have yet another vanity pet that does absolutely nothing. /rant

Quote:I'm selling those pvp recipes because I bought hundreds of them for very cheap, easy money on the flip, 5-10 mill to 80-100 mill. I could craft them but can't be bothered, the recipes are in demand now and I don't have to mess with salvage. I could craft, then sell and make more but that's what every else is doing. If I've learned one thing in investing it is doing what everyone else is doing doesn't make you easy money, it can even result in you losing money. I'm making billions as is and I can use my free time to play the game.I spent the first few days of converter craze buying the pvp io recipes that I can only assume some of you were dumping at bargain prices because, well, for whatever reason. I crafted, kept some, sold some and made a very tidy profit.
BTW bought hundreds of cheap sleep purple recipes also, those I am crafting, out of set converting and keeping. It's nice to know I now have multiples of each purple set just waiting for future toons and I've only crafted about half of the sleep recipes so far. -
Would be nice if we could place orders for anything that can be purchased at a store remotely and have them delivered to our in game email, maybe 5 minute delivery time. Of course there would be a delivery fee but would be a nice perk, would also enable you to order inspirations part way through a task force.

That is sweet,... Lego is the best.

Quote:Think of it this way, if you don't use the ones in your tray and your tray is full you don't get the ones that drop. Inspirations are great, use em often when appropriate and you will do amazing things. For years and years... I too, was an inspiration hoarder.
Even worse, I hoarded smalls!
For the exact same reason you laid out. I'd have my tray for my Blaster set perfect, with a column of BF's and a column of Blues etc etc.
Yet everytime I'd need one, I always held off, with that exact same voice saying 'you'll need it later'.
It wasn't til I started playing around running Blasters on the CEBR farm that I learned how to abuse inspirations. Now I spend more time with an empty tray than I do otherwise. I've even taken to just randomly clicking F1-F3 whenever it fills, sight unseen... -
Quote:Market testing at the expense of our customers, particularly the ones who don't know any better,... a real classy move.Hi there,
The 440 Paragon Point Price is intended and yes, the Cape you're referring to is included in the Magic Costume Bundle.
Hope that answers your question!
Mind you there aren't any other items on the market that are significantly overpriced also **cough** **cough** -
Wow, I'm impressed, my mouth has been shut.

Answer: No, next question?
Regarding the huge base plots available and storage limits:
PHENOMENAL MASSIVE BASE! ... Itty-bitty storage space. -
Quote:ROFL, very true nothing says superhero like a Pilgrim,.... and a leprechaun. Just think of it this way we are into genre breaking ground here. I can't wait for my baby new year diaper costume piece,... I got alot of uses for that costume piece but we won't go into how I would like it pre-tinted.Instead we can wear hats like the pilgrims. Seriously, what the hell? I want this to be a superhero game, not a kindergarten holiday pageant.

Quote:Just have a VIP friend join your SG long enough to pay your rent, problem solved. No, it has not changed.
A Free or Premium account cannot interact with the SG registrar at City Hall. Therefore, they cannot pay rent.
You will need a VIP account holder in your SG to pay the rent, if you want your base to be maintained.
.
This is a restriction in which the workaround is so easy I wonder why the devs even bothered with the restriction. -
Quote:This, they both died by the 2nd mob, was worth a chuckle though as I could see my toon gritting through his teeth and mumbling something about worthless allies.I wouldn't say very difficult, depending on AT of course.
I was actually kind of shocked at how weak the allies are, found my Brute wishing he had a heal he could toss, before just up and leaving them all in the dust. I found them more beneficial helping clear spawns on the way to the ends though. -
Quote:Flattening on IO prices, marketeers carving out more and even deeper niches at the salvage end of the equation. My thoughts are on stabilization that it will be harder for marketeers to farm "niches" since they will need to control a much greater inventory of the entire class of I/O in order to maintain their corner of the market. Basically, this will take the "corners" out of the market. With everything rounding to an approximate level of worth.

If you have a kindle or the amazon reader app. on your computer you can find them in the amazon library gratis. Go see the movie this weekend anyhow I know I am, support the possibility of a sequel.

This,... come on devs no lame excuses now please.

Let's see,... environmental hazards would add other challenges and fun. Examples include substations with electrical equipment everywhere (zap!), natural gas plant (cold to close leaks, fire to set em off), burning building (fire damage and collapsing floors), outdoor missions with lightning storm and high winds, aquatic missions with natural predators around, space missions no oxygen (new uses for the bubbler), jungle with poison plants or other debuffs, operational manufacturing facilities with dangerous equipment - all these will also lead to more fun for players in using the environment to their benefit for example knockback into a gas leak and ignite! It would also allow for more uses of some of the lesser used positional powers.
Use the Environment! Some of the mission I enjoy the most are the lava ones where I can find creative ways to use the lava while trying not to get into it myself. -
At least the idea of the pet made me laugh.
I say go for it devs, if you can make a profit off those with more money than brains and it makes my game better and last longer then I have no real complaints. That said, you ain't getting my cash on these vanity pets. -
I was right at the end of a respec ready to hit OK, less than 5 seconds away from hitting the button and splat! mapserved, cannot find map. Ah well, maybe there is still an improvement to be found in my build.
-
You can always make another storage SG, link it to your main SG as a coalition so toons will have access to your porters. If your a RP'er just make it an apartment for one or a few of your toons.

Quote:Here's hoping it's a pot'o'gold for the sake of the devs but I find it just to be an empty pot at the end of the rainbow.Based on the last dev diary, tomorrow is going to be the leprechaun pet in time for St. Patrick's day.
They nerfed the pets so only one could be out at once and they want us to buy more? That's like buying lots of cars and only being able to drive them one at a time,.... oh wait,.... nevermind. -
Quote:Agreed but there are many RL things that would also fall into the same category, anything entertainment related for instance. On a more philosophical level who's to say all of what we call reality isn't just a game of metaphorical "pixels and database numbers".I hate to bring this up, but this is a game of pixels and database numbers. Everything is a vanity item. Powersets, experience, characters, everything is a vanity item.
There is not a single thing in CoX that is not, in fact, useless.
If something has value for someone, then it has value, determined ultimately by a collective how many value it and how much they value it for. Take a look at gold, a virtually useless metal, but humans think it's pretty so it has value. Someone thinks a vanity pet is pretty, bam! value,... same difference. -
You rarely look at your map anymore,... or even better after playing all night realize it has been closed.
