TV respec bugs and the WST

Did you fix the TV respec bugs before making it the WST, or are you intending to have people bully their way through? The last time I ran the TV trial, the coolant temp power was not healing the reactor (in the Known Issues) AND the reactor was taking constant DoT from (i assume) the room itself. So not only couldn't you heal it, but also its HP was draining for the entire fight.

Now when we ran it, we were level 50, with incarnate powers. The level 24-33 respec might be a bit different with these bugs in place, no?

There are no hard iTrials, only hard peo-... er... wait.

Sorry but the devs are too busy making ligers for us to buy at inflated prices.

Yeah, I'd say that the TV Respec trial is way too easy now. I used to do it years ago just for the fun because it was a challenging trial in its day. Now, it's rather boring and no challenge at all. Prehaps a steady, unhealable DoT on the reactor--slow meltdown--as a normal part of the trial would add a level of tension that would make it more fun.

I normally run the higher respecs at +3x8 with a team of 5 and +4x8 if any more people than that to get the feeling of the old respecs.

It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba

I can't even remember the last time I saw a Coolant used (when it was needed, anyway) on any level range of the respec trial. I wouldn't worry about it.

Because the devs that work on bug fixes are clearly the same as those that work on concept art, graphics, and coding powers. Oh wait, no they're not.

Folks, it's been 8 years, maybe we can stop trotting out this hilariously false equivalency now?

Well, we won't be able to stop until they bring out their final use for the 4-legged rig. Of course, it's going to be for melee sets only. Us ranged folk get no love.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

No clue. Google found it.

As a side note, the current patch on the Test Server has a fix for the coolant.

Difficult? Not in the least.
Depends on the strength of the team but given that the tf should be completable by those who need a respec its pretty unacceptable that they made it the wst as is, luckily it can benefit from +regen powers

I'm not sure that really applies anymore. The Villain respec includes an untouchable AV who likes to immobolize and kill anyone who wanders into 1/3 of the room, and if you don't bring lots of single target damage it's easy to end up in vine respawn hell.

While it's not bad and even rather quick for a 50+ WST, I could see it being very painful or even uncompletable on a lower level team with lots of people who need a respec. I can't see a real reason for that disparity other than, well, devs hating villains.

Challenge level can be fixed. See your friendly neighborhood field analyst.

The "defeat N" outdoor hunts, placement in the remote boondocks of Indy Port, constant shuttling between zones, and extensive downtime between final encounter spawns are what make the Terra Volta trial boring. Not the difficulty level.
