Spring Boots; when you jump springs pop out of the bottom of the boot, with a "boing" sound both when you take off and land.

    Propeller beanies.

If emotes count: An emote where you drink a vial, then turn into a tiny version of yourself. Tiny-you throws down the vial, stomps in obvious anger, then falls over and does the Ghoul death-tantrum emote until turning back to normal in a puff of smoke.

In a similar vein to the critter-in-the-helmet, you could have a torso piece with a transparent front, and a tiny person/critter visible inside in a control bay.

Yes it would, since Dark Control is getting Fearsome Stare. If Dark Control and Dark Affinity both had Fearsome Stare the stacked fear and -tohit would have been ridiculous.

How about a rifle/pistol model that's a miniature dragon tied to a handle? Bonus if it has animated eyes frantically rolling around.

Ha, good one. Or some monkey/homunculus. Or have a fish swimming around inside the tank.

*Waves hand* That was me. I've also suggested a Shield that's a Hellion or Skull tied to your arm.

It wasn't nerfed, it was rebalanced. Damage was lowered for PSW, increased for everything else, and base damage for Dominators in general was increased. It isn't 38 levels of rotten damage anymore.

According to Von Krieger's write-up of today's talk, yes it keeps Dark Servant.

I'd like to see the people who designed that and the people who okay'd it to go and explain why those boots have those ridiculous heels to the tough and rugged female barbarian characters of Paragon, Preatoria and the Rogue Isles!

Well, for the NPCs I understand that the original reason was that CoH beta testers were asked if they wanted a greater variety of enemies, or male and female models for the same enemies; the former was chosen. I agree they should have added more females since then though.

You rescue a female cop in the first Loyalist: Power story arc. Her bio mentions that there are very few female cops in Praetoria.

Conserving resources I understand; male and female variations on the same critter take about as many resources and making two separate critters. So sometimes they add some gender variety while saving resources by doing both at once and making the different members of a faction different genders. Like Carnies with Strong Men; there's no Strong Women, nor any Ringmasters.

    Really?

Unrealistic? Yes. But heels are all over comics. And with some characters they aren't even an especially bad idea; if she fights by flying around and blasting, it doesn't matter if a superheroine wears heels, or even if she has legs at all.
  14. All of those are powerful comboes that solo well. And team well too. The solution of course is to make all three.

I can't stand solo tanks, their damage is way too low for my taste. And I disagree with you about those choices being team oriented, they are all good soloers.

The sooner the better. Not only is kb fun, but the bug has made a number of my characters noticeably flimsier.

And to be honest- I will be VERY happy when they are. The fact that a Illusion character can have Unkillable pets that take aggro, fight and do serious damage at level 18 where no one else can is simply flat out BROKE. There is no way in hell they will proliferate it as it stands. I just hope I have enough popcorn to watch the ensuing nerdrage and Ragequits that will occur when they "destroy" Illusion Control.
Considering that they are the central power of the set that would ruin Illusion. The anger of the playerbase would be completely justified. And what is the point of proliferating a set to Dominators and making it unplayable in the process?

Should Defenders not have gotten Thermal because it doesnt sit well with Vigilance?
While the rest of your arguments are sound, you apparently missed that they changed Vigilance a while back so it doesn't work that way anymore. Instead it boosts Defender damage in inverse relation to team size, with the largest boost solo.

Also, Brute Fury boosts damage auras, while Scrappers don't get Criticals for auras.

Possible; it would be nice if they actually said so.

I don't know but I'm rather tired of waiting; I expected it to be proliferated long ago. Especially since it's such an obvious and long desired target for proliferation.

PSW was as far as I know all that got "nerfed" when the set was rebalanced; and in fact "fixed" would be a better term since PSW was badly bugged. The devs knew it too; it's just that if they'd fixed PSW and left the rest of the set alone it would have been near unplayable. So they left it alone until Castle had the time to rebalance the whole set as part of the general Dominator makeover.

Most of the set was in fact buffed, and is far more playable pre-PSW than it was. I notice that DarkCurrent didn't mention Telekinetic Thrust as a melee attack; that was buffed from being a minimal damage knockback attack into a strong melee attack. It also adds some smashing damage; useful against all those psi-resistant bots you'll run into.
  23. A major culprit is probably the PBAoE heal Warmth, it's a bit of an endurance pig. And if you are running Leadership toggles that'll slow your recovery of the endurance Warmth eats up. If you slot more endurance reduction into Warmth and have an endurance reduction in your leadership toggles, I expect you'll see a significant improvement.
