"The Possessed Scientist Ship mission" - is highly variable in what type of scientist you get.

"Shadow Shard Map" - impossible to sneak into the center of the group without being discovered first. Rularuu are ignoring the stealth.
  2. Anyone got feeling that drop rates are borked again?

I've been running a lot of missions here and there set for 0/x6/y/n, and according to dropstats, been getting Pool A drops below estimated low threshold fairly consistently.

I thought, it only works if you have exit button.
Have to try it solo, in the middle of mission

    Edit:

"/requestexitmission 1" doesn't work until "exit" button appears.
"/leaveteam" takes some time to kick you out from mission. In my case it took more than 15 seconds

I think a more serious problem is the immediate fallout that would come because of the price disparities, even hundreds of millions of inf apart on some items, between the two sides. Even if we are given a few weeks notice of an impending merge, the player (or at least marketer) reaction would be immediate and in some cases fairly drastic depending on the item and level of disparity.

What if you had already put up an item for sale that would typically sell low on one side but is priced much higher than the other side or vice versa? Would everyone be allowed to retract their bids at some point prior to the merge? What about the inf you had already sunk into items stored in base or on your character, which may be potentially be much worth less in a merged market? Or worth more? Would it be 'fair' either way to either lose or gain simply because of a market merge?

Has anyone looked at whether 1 influence blue-side = 1 infamy red-side in terms of actual purchasing power? I have a notion that they are not equal and merging the market will also have a total-side impact on the value of the inf on that side.

Frankly, as much as I agree with the idea (and perhaps it should have been done this way from the beginning) for merged markets, I don't see the problem with a separate WW and BM. It has not hindered my game play one iota.
I think, some interesting ideas on how to make merge process less painful were floated in this thread http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=196494.

    Such as:
    • automatically cancel all bids/asks
    • give tokens that can be converted to inf to chars that hold more than 2 billion, or increase inf cap
    • etc
  5. Dr. Q using [walk] as only travel power

I've been on few MoITF runs (under 40 mins) where only difference from regular speed runs was that players were more diligent in getting double buffed before entering missions. On anoter hand, we've done alot of MoSTFs in the same way.
  8. My impression was, that it is much easier to get Igneous bosses after The Hollows remake than it was before, even on level 50 without PBAoE. But I haven't done it in a long time.

Although Banes are considered to be weakest of the 4 SoA, I don't think they need much buffing. If you remove every other SoA, leaving only Banes, and then comparing them to the existing ATs, they don't look that weak at all. Force + force multiplication rolled in one makes a Bane a versatile character fit for many situations.

That being said, I do think there is room for improvement for Banes. The 2s animation, small radius, fast recharge and laughable damage AoE blasts need an overhaul. In general the animation times are long, long, looooong. And all look the same, as well. They couldn't bother doing any other animations for the Mace other than the "lean forward, twoop" type, which is present in every pew pew Banes have.

Not to mention the redraw thing for Surveillance and Venom Grenade. The latter especially breaks the character, but it's too damn good of a power to pass up.
I'd trade ranged defense in [Combat Training: Defensive] for melee defense in a heartbeat.

    2. People, I'm running ITF with on regular basis, would condider 75-80 min ITF as a failure even if defeat most on invincible ( and invincible is no longer available ).

  12. Prices came down somewhat after i16 release, but looks like almost all bounced back since then.

I thought I'd share and see if anyone else noticed anything odd last evening with bases.

In my case, I attempted to enter the base portal and got a 'map failed to load' message and dumped back to Talos Island. I tried again twice more, without succes. I told my team mate who happened to be in the base at the time. On the 4th try I zoned in, but it took a long time to load.

Then, while we were standing there managing an inf. transfer a character zoned in at the entrance. They were very confused, as they claimed to have clicked on a mission entrance but instead appeared in our base - and they weren't in our SG. They were very confused, "Where am I?" It was amusing, and odd.
I had somewhat similar problem with entering my VG base on Sunday evening/Monday early morning. I was getting stuck at loading screen. Switching between different toons, restarting client, asking my friend to enter my base didn't help. I had no problem with entering my SG base though.

An interaction with tech support on this issue left me with bitter taste. It was irrelevant to the problem at hand

First, they asked me to run GameAdvisor and select "Aion" instead CoH to gather data about my system.

Second, they asked me to run CoX in "safe mode". After being stuck at loading screen again, I wasn't able to switch to task manager or login screen, and had to powercycle my computer.

Finally, they said that my system is below of minimum specification to run this game, specifically my GFX card "Nvidia Quadro FX1400".
I understand, that it isn't the best or even average GFX card, but I'm able to run CoX at 1600x1200 resolution with 15-25 fps on the most of maps.

The problem disappeared Monday morning. Perhaps, NCSoft restarted some DB servers (but that is just my speculation).

Only HEATs can get this arc started, and it doesn't give 29 merits anymore. I think, reward was reduced in i14.

Targeted buffs do it as well. I had similar problem with imps on fire/kin. Giving them SB or ID, puts them back under your control

I think, devs rushed that patch live primarily because of Ouro level 1 spawns, that perhaps in their eyes was considered as an exploit.

I don't even want to think about the people that list IOs in slots that have no bids at less than cost.
There are a lot of cases when crafted is sold cheaper than respective recipe.

Banes have increased perception, but I don't know whether they can see through capped stealth

Edit: Bane Spider Scouts have perception capped at 83 ft. (150 ft uncapped)

    Stealth and Perception
Nemesis snipers can see through Illusion's Control Superior Invisibility, and it has 200 feet stealth radius.
  25. Rikti drones, KoA, Rularuu, Nemesis and Crey Snipers all can see through capped stealth
